Chapter 29: SCHOOL CLOSED

The exams are finally over and while the students wait for the results to come out, they concern themselves with trips, parties and club activities.

During that period K was busy looking at his message which came as a big surprise to him. He became very famous when he was busy, this made him really happy. There was so much demand for the song that it made his head ache from all the readings. What surprised him the most was the personal messages from his two-life idol. J wanted to meet him, how could he not be happy when he heard this?

Since school is closing, she decides to accept this meet anyway not every day you get to meet your idol one on one and spend time together. This was a rare opportunity that he did not come to let go. She would dress beautifully and meet her idol. It would be great if he could maintain the friendship under the pretence of giving a song, right?

K replies to J's message and decides to meet him in three weeks, he even gives her his phone number to make her easy to contact. He had decided to visit the mountains to hunt for spirit stones first before visiting Valletta. He's the company is about to open and he has to be there in person to see the magic Paula has done.

Seeing J not responding, he did not feel disappointed when he realized that the others were busy promoting his album that had come out. He bought the album for Hand in Hand and it was sung beautifully rather than the original.

He even set one of the songs as his ringtone, he had a hunch that he wasn't the only one.

K keeps replying to other messages and promises them that he will come back to them because he wants to filter them. He didn't want someone with a black reputation to sing his songs. The reputation of an artist can influence the people he is affiliated with, once everyone lives in the world of connection.

He spent an hour sifting through messages before he went to the school library to read some books. The library is so quiet like he's the only one who reads when people are supposed to play and have fun.

Most of the children in Riverdale come from wealthy families where they were raised with silver spoons. They do not have to do anything other than just ask and it is given to them. In both lives he was not so lucky, he had to work harder than others to achieve his goals and live a life of luxury.

In both lives he had no parents who could look after him although that fate changed with him being adopted by Holmes. But would she be adopted if she did not save their beautiful daughter back then?

If he was someone useless, would that happen?

If he hadn't saved Mr. Macy by then, he wouldn't have been registered in Riverdale at all. So K understands very much as long as he wants to live a high life he needs to work hard. Just because he managed to start a company by using most of his earned money does not make it someone, because the company easily goes bankrupt at any time. And if that happens then he will have nothing.

All he needed was to make a lot of money that nobody would step on him. In his previous life because he lacked strength and money, he ended up going to jail for a crime he did not commit and ended up dying. It's time he will live to the fullest while making money so that nothing of that sort might happen to him again.

A few days later the results finally came out, they all sat in their respective seats as they received the report and the exam paper back.

So for the first half of the day they receive their exam papers and the second half is for the report.

Krystal did not disappoint them as she took first place in her class and number twenty in the entire class which was a huge improvement.

The teachers praised him for working hard and he replied with a smile.

What really made her happy was the fact that her improved classmates made the grades of the entire class higher than before. Mr. Robert was pleased with this result that for the first time the hateful teacher gave him a sincere smile.

In the afternoon the whole school should listen to the last words of the Headmaster, the day on which the second semester will begin and a reminder for those who have to go for school holidays.

K and Flo are part of the students who do not need to redeem themselves during the holidays so that they are safe.

At the end of the day, the two god sisters hooked their hands and happily went to the car that was already waiting for them both. K used to be supposed to spend time in the Holmes family for a few days before he went to Valletta.

What neither of them ever expected was to be stopped before they could go anywhere by the extremely shameless people.

"Now that you have entered into Holmes, you think you are all high and mighty?" Mary Reid, K's mother sneered at him. K could see the hatred in the woman's eyes and she absolutely could not determine the real reason why she hated her own child.

Mary was the one who gave birth to K yet it was as if she was looking at some enemies. He has to solve this problem, and the only way he can do it is by doing DNA testing on both his parents.

The best people for the job were his hooligans whom he had set aside after their interaction.

"I wonder what my debt is on this visit for Madam Reid," K decided to attack them in a different way. Since they wanted to humiliate him by humiliating him then he would only faint out of ignorance as if he did not realize what the two of them were doing.

"Umph, is that how you talk to your mother? How were you raised?" Mary raised her voice once more, drawing a number of spectators to where they were.

"I don't have a mother anymore. The mother I knew died a long time ago. The mother who hugged me, loved me, and showered me with all the love and attention I needed did all the best even though she wasn't here with me,"

K dragged his words so that everyone could hear him clearly.

"You...."

"When I really need a mother figure, what do you do? You threw me out, tarnished my name and did so many despicable things that I could not even talk about and today just because Holmes had eyes and adopted me into their family, You came all the way here to drag my name once again into the mud? What kind of mother are you?"

"Krystal, take care of yourself! Is that how you talk to mom now that you've been adopted by the Holmes family?"

"Hahahaha, you think I clung to Holmes badly? With my ability, I don't need to lock anyone up. Just like how I survived when you and Mr. Reid, I can still survive and my life will be better than yours. Since you are so determined to desecrate me today, then let me tell you a secret," K spoke softly at the end of the speech and walked over to Mary.

"The boy you left behind at the time Krystal died a week after he was released from prison. I'm someone you shouldn't provoke. Killing people is like squeezing ants for me and for someone so selfish and stupid like you, it won't take me second before I destroy you. If you think that I'm I'm lying, then ask your beloved daughter about the incredible events that made her tired months ago when she tried to make that trashy gangster violate me?"

With every word she said, Mary could feel what this girl was saying was the truth. For the first time in her life she felt scared and scared. He felt like bedwetting but it would be embarrassing for him.

She should have known when her daughter changed that she was no longer the only one. The Krystal she knew was a coward and desperately needed the attention of her family, yet this Krystal in front of her was someone she could not even see without feeling fear.

"Mom, what did he tell you?" The Emerald asked Mary who looked pale as if she had seen a ghost.

Seeing her mother not responding, she turned her head towards Krystal who was the cause.

"I just told him about ...." He finished the rest of the sentence in his heart making Emerald turn pale just his mother.

The audience could not believe the outcome of this drama. Everyone knew that the shameless mother and daughter pair had lost to how shocked they were.

"It would be wise if you two go back home, it's ours the closing day and we want to show you the term results at home," Flora finally spoke up after seeing how smoothly K solved the problem.

He didn't know what he was doing but he had respect towards him. What did he tell his mother and daughter to make them look like that? What kind of important information did he have about the two of them making them silent and look like ghosts?

K eventually drags Flora with him to the car and leaves. What happened to that shameless fellow's partner was none of his business anymore?
