When he arrived at the hall, he went to the board and noticed that there was a new mission on the board and it was urgent. He had the right to accept or reject the mission, he was never forced but since he was someone who needed crystals and gifts, he accepted the mission.
His mission looks so funny, he was supposed to save Mr. Macy. Where he is, it is written. So after receiving the mission, Krystal took a taxi and went there. When he arrived at that place, he was brought back. There was no one there, the place looked abandoned and terrifying. It reminded him of the days where he had to defeat someone in places like this.
He searched for the place for ten minutes before he heard a groan. He ran towards the direction and he stopped when he saw a middle-aged man lying on the ground. He looked wounded and he was bleeding.
Krystal quickly walked up to the man and after checking that he was still breathing and alive, she called an ambulance and gave a hint. Because he was supposed to save this man and if he had to wait for an ambulance to arrive by then this guy would definitely die.
He did not have any pills, but he had seen the numbers in the pharmacy. He visited the pharmacy and bought some healing medicine. It was different from the others because it was liquid. This liquid took out 50 pieces of gold and this really made his heart ache. Feeding a stranger half a million drugs was just a total waste. If it wasn't the fact that the reward was good, he wouldn't care about it.
Krystal fed the man medicine until he breathed back to normal. Seeing that he was not going to die, he sat by his side and waited for the ambulance to arrive.
When the ambulance arrived, he followed them to the hospital and hospital bills. He left his contact details after finishing everything. He wanted to know when the man woke up; he didn't want anyone dying to him.
Krystal went to the restroom where she closed the door and went straight to the mall, visiting the mission hall with a smile as she had completed her first mission since she received this golden cheat.
Seeing the big check mark on the mission, he felt elated. The light shone on the mission statement and subsequently the reward appeared on the counter. He had received one crystal that compensated for the money he used to buy healing medicine. His most satisfying gift was a bottle of memory retaining pills. These pills were good for him especially when he planned on reading so many books to pursue what he had lost.
He had received a total of twelve pills and he could take them daily as long as he read. After collecting her reward, Krystal went to the pharmacy and smiled when she saw the memory retaining pill had been added to the shelf.
Now the shelf has a cure and a memory-retaining pill. He was even surprised that the water pill he received the first time when he connected to the system wasn't even on the shelf.
He had a feeling that it would be expensive considering how effective it was. Since he was done, he left the mall and came out of the restroom. Krystal happily left the hospital and visited the restaurant where she got something to eat before returning to her villa. He had already done many things and it was time for him to rest.
His books arrived at night and he busied himself by packing them into the study. He took his laptop and browsed the internet where he ordered study furniture and kitchen utensils. When she was done, she went to the sitting room where she started watching some news and movies to pass the time before she went to bed.
The next two days he did not go anywhere, he was busy with his studies, he hired someone to assemble the furniture and store it. He also filled his kitchen unit with the equipment he bought. Now she can start cooking in her own home instead of buying food outside.
He also placed the books he had bought earlier on the shelf, his laptop safely placed on the table. Krystal liked this study very much compared to the last study she had that contained all kinds of weapons.
Krystal wanted to start reading, so she had prepared food for herself even though it was not a high class considering the fact that it had been many years since she had last cooked. Even though his former host could cook, it didn't mean he was a professional.
As he was eating, his phone rang and he picked it up. He doesn't have much contact on his phone. And since he had only given a few people his number, he was not so depressed when he picked it up.
The phone call was made with Mr. Macy, the man she saved a few days ago and she wants to meet him. Since the man was feeling generous, then he would meet him.
He changed his clothes and took a taxi to the hospital. He went to the V.I.P room where the man was now resting. It looks like his family found him and he was moved to a better room when he left and that was nice.
"You must be Miss Krystal, I'm Aaron, the man you saved is my father," said a man in his thirties with a smile as he extended his hand towards her.
Krystal looked at the friendly expression on her face, smiled and accepted the handshake.
"It's nice to meet you."
"My father really wanted to see you, please follow me," Aaron said and he took her into the hospital room.
He smiled at the middle-aged who had caused him to use half a crystal just to save him. He really wished that he hadn't called her all the way just to see her, she was a busy person.
"It's nice to finally meet you" said Mr. Macy with a smile.
"We are very grateful for what you did that day, if
not because of you my father will die."
"I'm just doing what everyone else is going to do" Krystal said with a gentle smile. He'll die if he finds some bad guys there. If not for his mission, he would have never tried such a thing especially with his weak body.
"You're really special and that's why I want to thank you."
"Please take this," Aaron said as he gave him a check.
He actually tried to reject her but there was one so urgent that in the end he accepted it. He was celebrating inwardly; this was a one million dollar gift. He would cash it in his bank account and another crystal was added to his wallet.
He talked to the two for a while before the conversation turned into something he felt extremely embarrassed about.
"If you find it difficult to talk about it then please just forget it," said Mr. Macy and she were really embarrassed. He knew that the man did not mean to be evil and even if he considered him unworthy, he still cashed in a lot.
So Krystal decided to tell them about her life including leaving some parts of her life out of it.
"It must be hard, are you okay now?" Krystal heard the worry from the two men; they did not look at her with disdain which was the first for her especially after what she had experienced.
"I'm doing fine. I was just trying to find a school to enroll in. I can't return First High School because I was blacklisted after being charged," she said sounding very depressed.
He only had less than two weeks to find a school for himself and it became very annoying. What he never expected was what he heard from Mr. Macy's next.
"Oh, if you're interested you can come and study at my school" he said with a smile and this shook him a bit.
"Do you have a school?" Krystal knew that there were people who had their own private schools and some were teachers, so she had no idea which category this old man was in.
"Hahahaha, I must have a student. I'm the owner of Riverside High School and as long as you want, I can give you a letter of recommendation and you can start when the semester starts."
He looked at the man as he digested every word he had just heard. She wanted to dance and celebrate but she had to hold it for a while until everything was sorted out.
"You don't mind my rap sheet?" he asked worriedly.
"This is a private school and such records are always private. From what you have told me, I can say that you are not such a person. You're just having bad luck, here's what I have to do."
"But..."
"Take this gift from me to repay you for saving my life, don't refuse it" the old man urged and touched by his generosity, he accepted it.
He really needed to find a school and the school came to him by itself. How could he let go of such an opportunity?
She talked to the two men for an hour and after agreeing to let the man send her a letter of recommendation in two days, she finally left the hospital in relief.
He has really done a great job by receiving emergency missions. He now understood that the mission hall was crucial to his growth and the mission issued had to be accepted no matter what.
