Chapter 30: MISSION COMPLETE

K has fun living with Holmes, he is spoiled like Flo and he spends a lot of time with Annie who looks prettier than before. Beauty pills really work and she keeps nagging about her a lot of pills.

To think that he even paraded himself among his friends, made them envious of him and now the women wanted the pill as well. In order to get Annie off her back, she agreed to provide at least two pills for each of her friends but they would be expensive.

Anne understood this concept because this pill had never been seen in this world. In the apothecary he needed to spend five crystals for a bottle of twelve pills. He decided to sell two pills for a total of three million after all, one's life could be changed after this.

Annie had agreed to this, she even asked if there were any other pills her master sold. How could he allow such a great opportunity to leave? She told Annie about the other medicines that were being busily made by Master and since they were not mass produced they were expensive.

K promises Annie to bring the pills when she returns from Valletta after meeting Master for merchandise.

K also makes sure she leaves enough stock with Olivia and adds some new merchandise such as bags, shoes and more clothes.

K leaves Aunt Grace with instructions for her to come twice a week to clean the house and bring all the vegetables with her. That woman was happy because she knew how healthy her vegetables were.

After everything was settled, he set off for the first mountain where the spirit stones were. He had been busy himself with researching about spirit stones and his findings excited him. They could help him with his cultivation for it was not good for him to continue relying on pills. As someone who desperately wanted to form a core, he needed to do it with a large, for larger and firmer core was essential to the progress of his journey into immortality. He was almost halfway and he did not plan on stopping halfway.

K packed his food, clothes, and safety clothes suitable for mountain climbing. Since he had a virtual room, there was no need for him to bring camping gear.

He bid farewell to Flora and flew to the city that connected her to the city where the first mountain existed.

It took hours for him to travel through the mountain using his jade eyes to follow the increasingly dense strands of energy the more he climbed upwards. After hours he finally stopped where the energy was concentrated and what was waiting for him was a gap which meant what he wanted to be inside. But how will he get into the mountain?

He used his jade eyes to look deeper and he smiled as he saw that as long as he found a path, there was a corridor inside. He spent another hour carefully extracting the stone to form the door and put it back down so that no one could follow him once he entered the narrow cave.

He lit his torch and started following the corridor until he fell into a deep hole. Fortunately he did not fall but stood on his feet stomping on the bone which made a cracking sound. For someone who had faced death several times this was not scary for him. Since there were skeletons in the hole it meant that many people came to this cave and probably never left.

He could not wait to see what treasures were waiting for him. He used his torch to continue walking following the dense energy that made him feel warm as his meridians continued to circulate it within his body.

After walking for another thirty minutes, he chose it first the stone. It was as big as a fist and filled with so much energy. For another thirty minutes he picked up a stone on the road until he arrived in front of a pile of sprit stones.

It seems like someone is mining them but not doing it. After that, their loss was his own gain. Instead of being carried away by the dense energy he took out his coffin and started filling it one by one.

Even though he had been cultivating, he had not been on a stage where he could do some magical things. He could only wave his hand and the crate filled to the brim but it felt like cheating. He wanted to do the mission diligently and it was also a way of training.

When he filled two crates, he rested and ate warmly the food he had stored in the virtual room. He continued his work once more and after two hours he filled the other three.

When he checked the time, he knew that it was time to rest so he washed himself with the water he stored as he prepared for the trip. Feeling refreshed, he went to the virtual room to sleep.

Due to the difference in time there, it felt like years so when he was no longer sleepy he started cultivating utilizing the medicinal properties of the pills stored in his body.

So within three hours he managed to fill the rest of the coffins leaving at least two spirit stone chests inside the cave. K used to be determined to finish his work in the cave first before exploring the mountain as a whole so he took all the remaining spirit stones and brought them into the virtual space and started cultivating.

His speed was incredible and the consumption of spirit stones was irritating. With two continuous spirit stones in his hands he cultivated for a month within a total of a day in the real world. He stopped when he had finished his spirit stone.

The result of this seclusion was beneficial to him for he had managed to form his core the size of a golf ball and he could feel it turned out to be a lot of potential. From the books he read, he knew that one could form a larger core and his goal was to form a sizable core like football.

He wanted to upgrade his spiritual sea into such an ocean would greatly help him during cultivation. Blessed by the heavenly physique he needs to make use of it and produce as many benefits as possible.

Seeing the excreted dirt after one month's mediation, he washed himself once more and changed into climbing clothes once again. He started to wander around the underground cavern and whatever he saw seemed worthy of him being plucked.

He took out a number of strange stones filled with energy but could be used for other things after extracting energy.Unlike spirit stones that turned into powder after use, this had dual uses.

After stalking for two hours he managed to find an underground spring. When he tasted the water, he felt relieved and calm like something was calming him down. He could see the energy particles in the water which meant that it was special. For something like this, there was no way he could leave it alone so he bought another water gourd and filled it with water.

He even stripped himself naked and took a relaxing bath in the spring pool. After soaking herself for an hour, she finally left with a very light feeling and she knew that her appearance had changed once again. It was time for her to take some of those beauty pills, she muttered to herself.

After taking everything underground, K finds a way out and reappears in the mountain. The sun was still high and it was in the afternoon which meant he could still scout around but first thing first, he ate by himself.

Due to the energy in the mountain, he discovered many herbs that could be classified as spiritual. He marked this mountain on the treasure map to remember to pay a visit there to collect special potions.

K spent two more days collecting herbs, he was even lucky to find some tea bushes that he carefully harvested and stored in his warehouse.

He will not sell his tea leaves as he plans to learn about the tea ceremony and enjoy tea as he used to when he was

He used to sit with the older generation where they could drink tea, he demanded to be angry because he did not like it but as time went on he started to understand it. it was only bad that he did not have time to learn about it but now with the help of virtual space he can learn anything he wants and have as many careers as he can manage.

On the fifth day on the mountain he went to the peak where his energy was dense but less than the cave where he took the spirit stones. As long as he finds an opportunity, K swears to himself that he will not do it departing. So when he found such a great Qi on top of the mountain he continued his meditation. He simply stored the energy in his sea for future use and went some way to defend this lush mountain. It wouldn't be good for him if he spent all his energy on the mountain.

He was still hoping to gather more herbs in the future. When he finished absorbing the energy, he decided to sleep on the mountain and leave the next day.

K left the mountain the next day and during the time he was spent descending, he was busy cultivating. He has learned the benefits of multitasking. His journey down is not as simple as a hiking trip.

He checked into a motel, cleaned himself up and changed into black jeans, a red shirt and black sneakers. He ate some food at a nearby restaurant and bought a local plane ticket to the same city he passed last time.

The flight was for an hour before he took another flight to Valletta. It was time for her to see what miracle Paula achieved during the month she left. As someone who had put soul tracking on her, she was fully aware that she was not running and because of her weekly reports she was aware of the progress waiting from the company. He can't see everything.
