REMEMBER ME?...

REMEMBER ME?...
The Part 23

Kaiara placed her homemade sandwich wrapped only in white plastic carefully on Vano's table. He smiles.

“Eat a lot, Vano alexander. I'm glad you still like my sandwich,” he said slowly.

After that, the girl again observed the situation and came out of Vano's office and immediately approached Brian who was sitting in the waiting room while joking with his manager.

“Hey, Kiara kusuma, where have you been? Why suddenly disappear?” ask Brian.

Kiata smiled. “There is something I have to do,” said the girl. “Ah, where did we talk?”

Vano cradled the sandwich still tightly closed in his hand. His eyes stared at the rows of photographs before him that had just finished printing, but his mind was not there. Many times he sighed, sighing, just because of a piece of sandwich.

But no, it wasn't the food he thought it was, it was someone who sent it. Someone named Kiara Kusuma who he thought was a little annoying and stubborn, turned out to have a soft side on him. And the girl seemed to know him more than herself.

“Ah...Ntalah!” furious Vano who finally opened the plastic sandwich and put the sandwich into his mouth. The more he chewed it, the more it felt smacked, the more familiar he felt. Did he eat this sandwich often?

Vano stared ahead, at a glass in front of him, a glass that gave him a precise look at the shooting location, where Kiara was.

"Should I really change my attitude towards you, Kiara?" Inner Vano in the heart.

___

The day changed in the afternoon. Time passed by so quickly without them noticing. And the shoot ended sooner than usual. Most of the staff have gone home, they don't want to miss dinner with their family and friends. Vano walked over to Kiara who was still inside the wardrobe. This was the first time the man had stepped foot there.

Vano flicked the curtains covering the wardrobe and looked for Kiara.

“Kiara, let's go home, it's afternoon. Your father and mother will be home today, you better be home before they arrive,” Vano said his eyes still watching every corner of the narrow wardrobe carefully. Several times his hands moved to touch the creative shooting costumes of the girl. He put a smile on his lips. Kiara was more hardworking than she thought.

“Hey, Kiara kusuma!” call Vano once again in a louder voice as it gets no answer from the girl.

Suddenly there was a subtle groan from the row of costumes beside Vano. Soon the man moved quickly away from the source of the sound. A sense of surprise ran the man until the feathers crammed. Of course, how could a row of costumes possibly moan?

“Erhmmm..,”

Vano's eyes grew bigger. The voice was heard again from the same origin. The man let out a long sigh then ventured closer to the row of costumes hanging beside him. Slowly, he pulled up the costumes. His heart beats very fast. Not that he was afraid of ‘hantu’, he did not believe in such things. However, considering that now the situation is very real, no doubt he felt afraid as well.

After shaking off some of the costumes, the man let out a sigh of relief. His tense shoulders loosened again and his heartbeat returned to normal. The man even smiled.

The figure he was looking for earlier, Kiara Kusuma, was seen falling asleep behind the rows of costumes with her half body leaning against the wall. His legs were folded over his chest and his hands were tightly clasped together with a book. The book that Vano suspected was a book scribbled a designer. A designer should at least have a book to channel their ideas.

Vano crouched down, equating his height with Kiara. He looked at Sooji who was falling asleep and stared at her intensely.

“You. Should I change my nature to you? What will you think when I change, Kia?” ask Vano more to himself.

Kiara only groaned lightly but her eyes did not open.

A few tens of minutes later, Kiara finally opened her eyes. Instantly he felt pain in his neck due to his uncomfortable sleeping position. Initially, Kiara did not intend to sleep, but just sat behind a row of costumes while thinking about what her next plan for the new year special edition will be held shooting. But, maybe because lately his sleep patterns are messy, especially to take care of his design, plus he should always come to the office earlier than anyone, he said, the drowsiness finally came and defeated everything. Until here it ends. An hour later, the girl woke up.

Kiara stretched her stiff muscles. He opened a row of costumes that covered him and stood up, however, how shocked he saw Vano had been standing there while crossing his hands in front of his chest.

“Ah... You surprised me!” exclaimed the girl while stroking her chest with one hand.

Vano glanced at his watch. “Half hour 6. Do you want to go home or not?” tanyakanya.

“Oh? Holy hooch! Wait a minute, I'll be right back!” exclaimed the girl while hurriedly exiting the wardrobe followed by Vano.

The girl moved into the waiting room, where she kept her bags, coat, and everything else. But his stuff wasn't there. So where is it?

“Kiara!” call Vano from behind.

“For a moment, I'll get my stuff first! I kept it around here earlier, but now.” replied Kiara as she moved her stuff around the room.

“Kiara,” call Vano again.

“Aish... Wait a minute!”

“Kiara Kusuma!”

“What's up?” Kiara stopped her activity and stared at Vano, upset, and disturbed.

“I told you, I have to find... Oh, how can the stuff be on you?” Kiara looked at a handbag and coat that was in Kiara's hand and walked towards the man.

“Aish. Is this your nature long ago?” vano asked as he handed her the girl's bag and coat.

Kiara chuckles. “It looks like so,” he said honestly.

“Ya, worth it. It must be me who is often troubled by the carelessness and nature of your forgetfulness,”

“Really! In the past, it seemed like you were the one who often remembered where I kept things. You who pay attention to my every move and remember if I put something down then remind me or take it yourself and give it to me if I forget it.” Kiara.

Vani just smiled in response to the girl's carefree babble that seemed to be told with great joy. Vano's feet stepped closer to the girl and helped her put on her coat. When he finished, he smiled.

“Come, we go home.” His word.

Kiara smiled and nodded, then followed Vano towards the basement.
