Vano did not take his eyes off the figure of Kiara who was arranging small tables in a room where the children mentioned Kiara studied.
The man did not understand why he was here, he did not understand why he had to teach, he did not understand about the memories of the two of them in this place and moreover, he did not understand, he did not understand what Kiara meant by suddenly mentioning that they were engaged even though it was true, but the point is, come on, the fiance is not something that ‘real’ for him.
Because according to him, the fiancee was just a formality of working relationship between his company and the Kusuma family company. He doesn't really like that girl, does he?
Even so, he did not understand why he could not refute the girl's words earlier.
“Then, we both came here often. When we were kids, of course. Every time we visit Bali, this place is one of our main destinations. Here is a place for some children who are unable to learn. The woman was the founder and teacher. Although there are now many other young teachers. Because we are still small and always interested in the world of lower class people that we have never met, we often come here to just play or learn together.
Three years ago, before I went to England, I was a teacher here. And it's quite fun, you should try it!” kiara was unasked.
Vano fell silent, trying to digest the information Kiara gave him slowly to insert into his brain and added to the empty memory in his brain that disappeared 6 years ago.
“And about that, sorry, I didn't mean to spread our new status. I know you won't like it because you don't even remember me, so I'm—“
“Nothing,” cut Vano.
Kiara, who was still busy arranging the small tables where the children were studying, suddenly fell silent and looked at the man with a confused and shocked look.
Vano still looks relaxed, one by one, he picked up the toys that are still scattered on the floor and put them in a box. After that, he turned his eyes to Kiara.
“It's okay. I don't care about it,” continued Vano indifferently.
As Kiara was about to speak up, suddenly a friendly cry came from the inside of the house. A middle-aged woman they had met came to them while serving them a glass of warm sweet tea.
“Aigo, you guys are so good. I feel very helped. You will be a good prospective parent later,” said the middle-aged woman.
Kiara immediately responded to the woman's remark with a smile while Vano remained expressionless. The two of them immediately stormed the glass of warm sweet tea and drank it until it ran out to quench their thirst and coldness in their bodies.
“What in the rainy season like this the kids are still coming too?” ask Vano.
“Of course, here there are no winter or summer holidays. If they feel like learning, they will come. If not, we as teachers will understand.”
Vano nodded his head after hearing the middle-aged woman's explanation while he sat himself on one of the nearby small chairs. Kiara laughed a little at Vano's attitude, but did not comment.
“If you are done, you can rest or wander around here to remember the past—although not many can be surrounded because the park is very narrow, but make it as comfortable as possible as at home until the children arrive,” said the woman while carrying empty glasses from them and left to leave them both back.
After a long silence, Vano finally spoke up. “So your goal to take me for a walk is to help me restore my memory?” ask Vano.
“Like that,” muttered Kiara slowly.
Vano was silent again. Confused what to say.
“Then, we also often sit here while looking at the swing under the tree or just enjoy the clean air around here,” obviously Kiara while staring at a big tree in front of them.
Vano stared in the direction Kiara pointed. A huge acacia tree stood gracefully in front of them. The tree had indeed removed all its leaves, leaving branches and sturdy branches. Even though the snow is still not coming, but still when Vano looked at the tree, there was a strange wind that rippled to him—or did he feel it?
But there's one weird one. Unlike Kiara said, the tree is not mounted a swing.
“The cotton was released a few years ago,” Kiara explained as if she could read Vano's mind.
Vano took a breath and stared at the tree. Who knows if his memory will return, or maybe a new flash that has not appeared in his mind so far.
Laughter of small children, squeaking swings from mines hanging on tree branches, falling leaves, the scent of the sea…
Vano. It was all that came to his mind, and to be honest, it didn't help much. The man then raised his digital camera and photographed the large tree as well as in as much detail as possible.
Kiara suddenly sighed loudly. “Come, it's time to teach. Soon at 7 and the children will surely come soon,” he said then moved from his seat and went back into the room he said as a class.
In contrast to the girl, Vano did not move. He was still staring at the big tree in front of him, as if looking for something.

Sure enough, the kids keep coming. They come in wearing their own coats of musty rain which Vano is sure will not be able to protect them from the rush of rain like this. Some even wore oversized coats that seemed to belong to their older brother or parents first. Seeing her, Vano was concerned, but Kiara had reminded him not to pity them, because they did not like the treatment, the girl had tried it when she was still at the High School level.
Because he did not know what to do, so Vano only paid attention to the movements of Kiara and the middle-aged woman, as well as several other people who were busy in the classroom, from the corner of the class. Sometimes he raises his camera and captures moments that he finds interesting. Then when he was aiming at his camera at a child who seemed fun playing alone in the corner of the room, suddenly and without being asked, the figure of the girl also entered his shot and was photographed, just when the girl was down to talk to the boy who was playing alone. Vano clicked his tongue irritated. He immediately opened the photo he had just taken earlier and intended to remove it when he suddenly fell silent.
The photo is not one of the best photos of him, especially because the object is simple and the camera is what it is. However, for some reason, when Kiara was in it, everything looked interesting. The girl's posture and movements are perfectly suited to the camera shot. Especially the plain and beautiful girl. At that time, Vano only realized that he had never aimed his camera at Kiara. He did not have any pictures of the girl. And he just realized that Kiara is one of the good objects.
