REMEMBER ME?...

REMEMBER ME?...
The Part 63

“Because of that, you better stay away from him, Windy. Either you take her out to eat together as a friend or something else, but you better not make her separate from Kiara, because I won't allow her—hei!” Brian exclaimed as soon as he saw Windy who seemed not to listen to his words and gawked away with a thousand steps after putting his full plate on the empty Vano plate in Brian's hand. Seeing that, Brian once again sighed in annoyance and followed the girl's departure from behind.

Windy didn't know what had gotten into him until he did. However, his anger seemed to burn out and he could not stand still as soon as he saw the figure of Vano sitting in a chair that was very close to a woman who was also sitting in another chair. Initially, Windy was about to vent his anger on whoever had taken his van. However, when he saw Vano smiling from a distance, the girl fell silent.

That smile…

All his life, even though Windy had known Vano for many years, Windy had never seen that smile before. More precisely, Vano had never smiled at him like that even though the man said that the man liked him.

Has Vano's feelings really changed now? Was there really no room for her in the man's heart? Has Vano really erased any memories of him?

Windy took a step forward. Two steps. With a dumbfounded look, the girl said a single word that made the two turn their heads.

“Who are you?”

Windy looked at Kiara with a frown. He looked at the girl's face carefully. Remembering inwardly how the person who had captured Vano's heart should have been his. Windy looked at Vano as if the girl was a thief caught off guard even though Kiara did not feel that way.

Kiara then looked at Vano who then said,

“Kiara, she is Windy, , model from America. He was my friend there first.” Vano.

“And he is here now to help our team because of your departure.”

Kiara rounded her mouth and voiced ‘o’ slowly. He then smiled at Windy then stood up and extended his hand forward. “My name is Kiara Kusuma. Sorry... I must have been a lot of trouble for my absence, huh? I'm really sorry..”

“I don't feel any hassles.” Windy.

“I like it. Very like it.” The connection was then followed by a haughty look.

Brian, who had arrived at the spot a moment earlier and was standing next to Windy, had his elbow, warning him that the words were not very well used in the first introduction, but it seemed that Windy did not care. The girl was so jealous she was left. And apparently, the girl never learned how to master the fire.

Awfully, Kiara pulled back her outstretched hand. The girl then laughed awkwardly. “A-ah...so...,” said.

Vano glared at Windy, but the girl did not care. He did not even take his eyes off Kiara in the slightest. Observe the girl's appearance from head to toe. The next thing he saw was Vano who suddenly stood up and held onto Kiara's shoulders to turn the girl's body.

“Kia, you must be tired. Let me take you to your room.” Said the man while pushing Kiara's body forward in the direction she wanted. Leaving Windy and Brian on the spot.

Seeing Kiara and Vano leave makes Windy bite his lips irritated. The girl was so upset that she was half dead that her heart hurt and she wanted to cry. Quietly, he clenched his two palms that were on both sides of his body.

____

Kiara nodded her head observing the entire room while Vano, carrying a backpack filled with Kiara's belongings since then, moved the object to the corner of the room and walked back towards the girl. For a while, they exchanged looks.

“Vano, what's up?” ask Kiara.

Vano was a little surprised to receive such a question from Kiara that he had not expected before. His eyes trembled slightly and that made Kiara's suspicions rise. The man didn't want Kiara to know about what he was thinking. This girl shouldn't know.

“Nothing. Why are you asking like that?” Vano lied while smiling a little.

Kiara narrowed her eyes, disbelieving the words of the man before her. “Is there something about Windy bothering you?” ask Kiara again.

Vano. Didn't expect Kiara's guess to be that. But the man was not tired of lying. He shook his head, then placed his right hand on the girl's left shoulder while squeezing it gently.

“Nothing, rest for a while, after that you can catch up with us again. Okay well? I'll wait for you on location.” Vano said with a smile and the man left after removing his hand from Kiara's shoulder and received a faint nod from the girl.

However, even though the door had been closed and the sound of Vano walking away had disappeared, the awkward feeling was not easily lost from Kiara's mind. The girl was still silent, thinking hard. Because he was sure something was going on and he didn't know it.

____

When Kiara returned to work, she became the leader of the designer team again and that made Windy inevitably feel eliminated.

The girl in an instant lost her job so she was more unemployed on set. Although Windy was among the girls born and raised in the family, she could not keep quiet.

He could not bear to do something, so he was finally willing to do whatever he could there—although most of the staff ignored him or even forbade him to do these things. Brian had banned him from doing such haphazard work, but Windy ignored him.

Days changed, and the next day, early in the morning, the photo shoot had begun to finish their work early. And that day, Windy was once again the only person without a job there.

Brian told him to come home last night, but Windy refused and said he would not come home until they got home. After all, it seems that Vano did not care—yah, by the way the man did continue to ignore him all day yesterday, after Kiara returned. That morning, Windy even saw a romantic scene he did not want.

As they were just gathered at the shooting location, Windy saw Kiara approaching Vano with a sandwich in her hand.

And Vano received it with a sumringah face as if the sandwich was the most precious gift in the world. At that time, Windy could only cluck in annoyance.

Maybe he was jealous.
