The Part 67

Now Kiara's eyes met with Vano's eyes who had just entered the room where he lay and then immediately sat on the chair that Brian had occupied.

Without speaking or asking, the man looked at her. But Kiara knew the man asked from his gaze; are you okay? What the hell happened to you? How are you doing now?

“I'm fine. You don't have to worry.” Kiara said as if answering Vano's question that he did not say.

The man's forehead shriveled. He seemed dissatisfied with the girl's answer. “You know, when I see you again like the first time, because I. And it's been happening twice. You know when it was?”

Kiara shakes. Vano smiling.

“The first time was at our engagement party first, when you almost fell off a rock.” Said the man while grabbing Kiara's arm and cupping her with both hands. “And the second is this.”

Kiara fell silent—just froze. Instantly, his hair stood up after he realized something. The man's gaze, the way he spoke, the way he held it, it all came back.

She returns to being the Vano that the girl knew a few dozen years ago. Become a Vano who is warm and attentive to him. Butwhy? Has Vano's memory returned?

“Please, never do this again to me.”

Kiara gulps. He's stunned. A second, two seconds, three seconds, as the gentle ticking of the clock filled their silence, along with the girl's heart ignited faster in quick succession. When the girl felt that her heart was about to break so hard she beat, and when she felt that her face was as red as boiled shrimp, she forced her hand out of Vano's grasp.

“I'm just late for breakfast, Van, don't worry.” His words were accompanied by a smile.

But looking at Vano's unflappable face pulling a frown on his forehead and the worry in his eyes, the girl then laughed. “Come on, I just fainted for a second! Not a big deal!”

But Vano remained unmoved. Nope. That's not what he meant. The guilt that suddenly came was what made him unable to take his eyes off Kiara.

The man realized that this girl was weaker than he expected, and slapped her again, reminding her that he had just done a bad thing if Kiara had known, it might make him sick and devastated.

And he wanted to do whatever it took to prevent it from happening.

“Kiara, I promise I won't leave you. Remember that, okay?” vano suddenly said.

Kiara raised her brows inexplicably, but a few seconds later the girl laughed then nodded. “Of course you won't leave me, we've made an order with the family, remember?” he raised his left hand, where a silver ring was embedded in his ring finger.

Vano smiling. Himself nodded. Although in his heart, he was still unable to shake the guilt in his chest.

After calming down from his sudden emotions thanks to Kiara's actions, Brian looked at the door in front of him to open it. That door is Windy's outpatient room door.

The man only wants to see the girl's circumstances before returning to his manager who has been waiting for him to take her to his next schedule once the crew is disbanded unofficially by Vano.

But what Brian saw turned out to be beyond his expectations.

He saw Windy sitting on the bedside with pursed lips, furrowed eyebrows, reddened eyes, and a bowed head. Her hair still looks untidy. His hands clasped each other and his thumbs moved uneasily.

Seeing that, Brian couldn't just shut up. He walked over to Windy and sat down next to him. Even with his movements, Windy still did not turn his head as if he was unaware of his existence there.

“No.”

Windy turned his head, looking at Brian with his red eyes. There was a puddle of water in his eye and it was ready to spill. The guy's never seen this girl so fragile before. In her eyes, Windy was a confident and cold girl despite her slight childishness.

“So, what did I do wrong?”

Brian fell silent. This condition was at least almost exactly as he had expected. He can read the situation. From how Vano's condition when he came out of Windy's room was not so good.

Brian is not a fool. People may think of him as innocent, talkative, humorous, cheerful, but not stupid. His instincts had him sharpened to such an extent that he could even read the atmosphere.

And he could reasonably expect something like this would happen to Windy and Vano. It's just that he didn't think that Windy would cry.

“He dumped you, didn't he?” said Brian.

Windy laughed. A single tear fell onto Windy's cheek. “One-party love it... hurts, doesn't it?”

Brian sighs. His heart was sliced at Windy's question. Yeah, he got it. He understands so much about it. The man changed his seat and faced Windy. He tilted the girl's body slightly so they could face each other, then raised his right hand. Slowly, the man wiped away the tears that fell on the girl's cheek with his thumb.

“Ya, of course.” Said Brian. He then placed both of his big palms on Windy's cheeks while pulling the girl's lips with his two thumbs to form a smile.

“But if you smile and see the world more clearly, you will find the right man for you. So smile, okay?”

Brian ended his words with a big smile on his face while there was no response from Windy who was only able to stare at the man with a hard-to-understand look.

A week had passed since their shoot for winter ended. The contract with Brian expires. The weather is getting colder every day, and Christmas and new year are getting closer.

Vano is no longer able to meet with Brian due to his busy schedule approaching the new year. He was only able to contact the man through his social media accounts. Meanwhile, he also no longer got any news from Windy.

Even from the last day of filming, when Vano came out of Kiara's room, Windy was no longer on set. The crew that saw him said that he went home with Brian. Hearing that, at least makes Vano not have to worry.

Meanwhile, his relationship with Kiara remained as good as ever. Vano, who now lives at home more often to edit some photos and print them, sometimes spends time with Kiara who is designing. He tries to make up for his guilt by spending more time with Kiara.

They meet anywhere. In the front garden of Kiara's house which is now filled with snow, at her house or Kiara's house, or anywhere that can make them comfortable. Later, they often met in a cafe located around xxx.

Cafe with a thick European and American feel accompanied by jazz music that flows almost every day. And now, the cafe they label as their favorite.

Frequently spending time with Kiara turned out to make Vano know the girl better. He thought that after two months together, he knew everything about the girl.

But in fact not yet. And luckily Kiara generously told him some things she should have known. Seeing how honest Kiara was to her like this, Vano inevitably drowned herself back in the girl's charm. And this time, he can't swim out of there.

Vano is trying his best to enjoy their year-end life together, he wants to carve out moments together with Kiara. According to him, it was not his decision to settle temporarily in Korea, but they can still work here. Because in Korea also has a branch office of the company.
