The Part 28
The cold wind felt piercing Vano's skin which was only wrapped by a suit and shirt. He rubbed his hands together to warm himself while continuing to follow the girl slowly. The girl's steps look certain especially when she has stripped her heels off at the end of the beach. And she did not see the girl trembling at all, but she was wearing a long sleeveless dress!
“Waaah... it's been a long time!” kiara exclaimed loudly as she saw the sea slapping along her eyes.
“Kia, what exactly are you going to do here? You're not cold? We go back to the hotel, kajja!” take Vano who stops at the end of the beach. He refused to move his feet further.
But the girl continued walking, ignoring Vano's exclamation, the girl continued to step closer and closer to the sea.

Kiara stood upright on the rock and spread her arms, enjoying the strong gusts of wind that hit her. Vano got under the rock and could see Kiara smiling. Vano gulps. What would happen if the girl suddenly lost her balance?
“Yes, Kiara kusuma!”
“Vano, try going up here! The view is beautiful!” kiara shouted from above.
Vano sighed loudly. “Yes, stupid! Don't stand on the other end like that! You can fall!” exclaim again while trying to climb the rock.
The more he climbed, the harder he heard the pounding waves that hit the rock, making him creep. One step, two steps, then when Vano looked at Kiara, his gaze suddenly changed.
The sun was shining right above his eyes, making Vano have to squint to look forward. But he can still see clearly. There was someone in front of him. A girl climbing a rock high enough for their size excitedly.
“Be careful! You will fall!” Vano could hear himself exclaiming.
“Just relax, I won't fall!” reply to the girl.
Vano was still trying to climb the rock, step by step, finally he reached the top of the rock.
“You were so long, Vano Alexander!” the protest of the girl who was standing at the end of the rock, staring at the small waves that hit the rock that he was peeling.
“See here, waaah... it's so beautiful! If I jump down, how does it feel, huh?” the girl said unconsciously.
Vano immediately moved quickly and held onto the girl. A great fear haunted him. Afraid that at any time the girl would actually jump.
“You can't jump!” exclaim Vano.
The girl silently smiled, “If I jump and fall anyway, I won't die, you know?” said the girl again. Then the girl turned her head while smilingly looking at Vano.
“Because you're going to save me,”
“I won't ja—“
As Vano looked up to look at Kiara, Vano saw the girl lose her balance of body which started leaning towards the sea. And Vano's body trembled, he had never felt this scared. Quickly, he climbed the rock and ran towards Kiar as fast as he could. He ignored the pain of a rock that pierced his leg because he was not careful to bleed.
All he knew was that he had to save the girl. Without hesitation, he grabbed the girl's waist and hugged her with both hands. Kiara's body stabilized again after Vano hugged Kiara's body from behind, removing the distance between them. Both breaths hunted. Every second, Vano tightened his arms as if afraid that the wind would shake the girl again.
They were silent for a few minutes before Kiara finally spoke up.
“Vano.. Alexander,” he said softly.
Vano gulped, he had never felt this scared in his entire life. He didn't know why he was so scared when he thought he could lose Kiara. He didn't know why he was angry at the same time. Instantly, he knew who the daughter that had appeared in the flash of his past was. That child is Kiara kusuma.
Vano opened his mouth, saying the thing he should have said long ago—if the flash had really happened—when they were little.
“Don't... ever.. do things... like this... again,” said Vano right in Kira's right ear, among her gasping breaths.

Vank returns to Kiara, who is now sitting on the beach with her black suit perched sweetly on her shoulder. Gives enough warmth on that cold beach. Even so, Vano must be willing to only wear a shirt on his body.
“Drink, don't you get cold?” said Vano while giving a glass of hot chocolate to Kiara while herself had held one glass. He took up a position next to Kiara.
“Still,” Kiara said while taking her glass from Vano's hand.
The silence greeted them. Now, the two of them were silent as they stared at the vast ocean several dozen meters away from where they were sitting. Accompanied by hot chocolate and a sprinkling of stars, it should have been a beautiful evening like their engagement party a few hours ago. However, due to the incident earlier, everything evaporated until there was only worry hanging in the air they were breathing.
“I'm sorry about that, I didn't listen to you,” Kiara said.
“And thank you for saving me.”
“Have we ever been here?” ask Vano suddenly.
Kiara turned her head to look at Vano with a puzzled look, but then replied, “Ever several times. This beach is the beach where all our memories take place. There are so many memories here. One of them is the rock. Sometimes, we often spend the afternoon sitting there and staring at the sunset. Although you initially refused to spend time there because you were afraid of falling into the sea, but eventually you want to too,” explained Kiara.
