SAFAZAR (Pursuing the Love of Mr. Prosecutor)

SAFAZAR (Pursuing the Love of Mr. Prosecutor)
SAFAZAR | CHAPTER 144

Since the day they returned from Uwa Nining's house, Edzar rarely contacted him. Usually, since their relationship improved Edzar always call or send a chat if the time is free.

Now, however, the man would only send him messages at night, just before going to bed. And the morning when Safa woke up. The rest was silent, there was no sign of Edzar calling or Video Calling.

Actually, Edzar's attitude like this had been felt when he was on his way back from Uwa Nining. The man became more quiet than usual. He thought maybe Edzar was involved in a quarrel with his mother. Safa did not dare to ask for fear of being too involved. Although he was actually very curious.

Safa just wanted to make room for the man. But isn't this too much? It's been over for 3 days. I want him to come back to Jakarta to find out what happened. At least they should talk.

But Safa could not leave due to her therapy. Rey started the procedure a few days ago. And he was not allowed to travel outside Bandung.

Safa felt imprisoned. Although he can still just walk to the mall and other places as long as he is with Mr. Iwan or Mrs Halim.

The mother had also started to settle here while, accompanying Safa when her father had to fly to various regions.

Safa misses Edzar. Why the man had no news. What Edzar did. Is he beginning to realize that Safa does not deserve to be with him? Could Edzar have realized his shortcomings?

Safa lowered her head, smilingly laughing at herself. Who wants a drug addict like him?

"Haha...." Safa laughed softly. Over time the swallowing turned into a snort. Then he sighed drawing back the tears that were about to come out.

She can't cry. It's just a trivial thing. It could be that Edzar is not feeling well. Yes, Safa nodded confidently. As much as possible, he avoided bad thoughts. That's what Rey told him the other day.

His hands raised touched the necklace Edzar gave. Her smile rises when remembering their romantic moment in Kiara Artha. I don't know when Edzar prepared this gift. Judging from its unusual design, this must have been ordered from far away.

Safa glanced as her phone flickered over the nightstand, complete with a brief sound typical of message notifications. Safa's body leaned slightly towards the flat object, then sat back firmly on the bed, reading the message that turned out to be from Rizkia.

Safa shriveled because her cousin sent not only a row of sentences, but also two blurry-looking photos. Safa downloaded the image to see what Rizkia was actually sending. She was very curious because the woman carried the name Edzar in her chat.

Safa's heart was anxious. May his mind not be right. At first glance he could see the silhouette of two people standing.

Honestly, his heart was beating. Safa is scared, hopefully not the disappointment that she gets. But it seems like God wants to test Safa's feelings, when the next time he sees it makes his chest cavity feel tight.

Safa was silent for a moment. Research more closely, to enlarge the size of the image. Something inside him began to throb. Believing in disbelief, what he saw in the photo was indeed Edzar.

Worse yet, he was with a woman. But that was not the focus of Safa, but the hand of Edzar that perched on the head of the hijab woman.

The photo was taken from behind, but Edzar's sideways position made Safa able to recognize him immediately.

Pensive safa. Edzar ignores her, but she can still walk with a woman. Safa thought Edzar was so busy that there was no time to contact him other than morning and night.

But what is that guy doing now? This is lunchtime, can he spare a second to send a message? It's okay even if it's just one letter in the form of 'P'. At least it showed an existence that he still cared.

"You told me to believe, but your attitude like this is starting to make me doubt" Safa muttered. His eyes looked blankly at the veranda of the room which was shining by the scorching sun.

Safa turned to look at the medicine on the nightstand, right next to the sleeping lamp. His hand stretched out to take, but when he remembered the words of Rey who told him to reduce consumption slowly.

"You can only drink this once in three days. Understood it? I've given you a waiver, you know. Just slowly. You can definitely take this sedative off."

Safa pulled back her hand. He scooped the bottle and threw it in the drawer. The drawer was the key, and Safa pushed the key under the bed.

Safa's breath was long. Trying to get rid of the prejudices that roam in his brain. He should be more mature. Safa will ask directly rather than assuming the no-no.

But how he asked while Edzar never picked up the phone.

Tok to tok.

Safa got up to the mirror, examined her face, afraid something was wrong to arouse suspicion of her mother.

Safe. Safa just set the expression to look fine. Soon he opened the door. And the mother stood before him, with a floating hand about to knock.

"Why, Mother?"

Madame Halim's forehead wrinkled. "Why are you in the room?" tanyanya.

Safa grinned showing her white and neat teeth. "Silent. Definitely not suicide, hehe."

"Hush! Keep your mouth, yeah."

"Mother's coming in, shall we?"

Safa widens the door, "Of course you can. Why can't you?"

Mrs Halim paid no heed to the question. His feet stepped past Safa, walked to the center of the room and sat on the bed.

The woman patted the place beside her, asking Safa to come closer and put her body there immediately.

Safa according to, slowly his buttocks touch the soft and comfortable mattress surface. Obviously because everything is high quality product.

"You seriously like Edzar?"

Safa turned her head, momentarily silent trying to digest the mother's sudden question. Then the corner of his lips widened, "Didn't Mother already know?"

Madam Halim sighed. "Mother doesn't like that. Mother knows you like all the handsome men on the face of this earth."

"Mother means, a love that involves the heart and a desire to have."

"Did you feel all that for Edzar?"

Silent. Safa stared at her mother. The two look at each other.

"Why do you ask like that?"

"Jawab it."

Safa sighed looking away. Down staring at her feet that were immersed on a soft and flowy fur carpet.

Her lentic fingers played those soft pink feathers. Today she wears pale pink cuttings, almost matching the carpet she stepped on.

"Yes. But Safa did not want to expect more. Safa would just follow the groove," he muttered half a whisper.

After he felt a soft touch drop by the shoulder, Safa was still at home staring at the fur carpet when her mother made a sound. "Mother just wants to remind. In a relationship, there are tests. In any form, small or large. Trust and communication are also very important. Do not let you eat the news for a moment without making sure first."

"One more thing, if you are too afraid, do not rely too much on someone. Love him accordingly, lest you love him more deeply than you love him."

"This is for anticipation when something has already happened we must experience."

"At least, the pain is no greater than you dropping your heart completely."
