Prangs!
"Aargh...."
Someone smashed the glass, and the taxi driver's body slammed into the back, hitting the door as he pulled it through the window with the sharp edges of the fragments.
"Aargh!!" Again the man screamed as his body was forcefully pulled out.
The car glass shard cut his skin viciously, crashing on the asphalt as the man slammed his body heartlessly.
There was not a second of his face directly receiving a punch. Energy that is not playing games, the first blow of his jaw has felt shifted.
Buk up!
Buk up!
Buk up!
Not only his face, his chest also got a painful fist.
Buk up!
"Ohuk!"
"How dare you touch her." A low grunt sounded along with the punch that did not stop, occasionally the hand hit the driver's head on the asphalt.
He looked stifled, his anger unbearable. Until then the roar of footsteps sounded closer. Someone shouted out loudly from behind.
"Edzar! Conscious, Son!" A middle-aged man embraces the chest of his field from behind a veil, trying to separate that one-sided tussle.
Edzar's body was forcibly pulled by several men. The man rebelled, not accepting. Especially when he saw the victim was still conscious even though he was helpless.
Edzar roared furiously. His breath was puffed with sharp unsheathed eyes. A great anger flared up in his dark net. Edzar slammed the people's embrace easily, then he darted back to scoop up the limbs helpless and wanted to beat him again.
"Edzar enough! Don't make trouble again! Enough of the Galuh's legs you broke. You don't kill people! It'll smear the prosecutor's law!"
Edzar was deaf.
"Your love needs you more!"
Instantly his movement stopped. His clenched hands hung in the air. Consciousness seemed to hit his mind strongly. Edzar's breath was heard chasing. His teeth were grinding as soon as his jaw clenched firmly.
"Uncle knows you're angry. But don't let anger make you wretched. At least think about Safa. Don't you want to be with him?"
Edzar's body is squeezing. He sat on the asphalt with his breathless. The man rubbed his face rough, trying to restore the sensation that had disappeared.
"Go, let uncle and the others take care of this man. Your girl doesn't want to be approached by anyone."
Edzar looked up, then escaped a stare at the car not far from them. Several people huddled there, including Mr. Halim who tried hard to find a way to approach his daughter.
Edzar got up, walked slowly to the car which then made them step aside. For a moment he stared inside. Safa curled up hugging her knees with her face set. Appearance disheveled. To which Edzar was grateful, the girl's clothes were still intact despite looking tangled and almost torn in some parts.
Carefully he climbed up. Can Edzar see Safa's alert response. This scene was painful for him. It felt like Edzar wanted to hit himself. Because it looks like he's taking part in this.
"Did?" call him slowly, half whispering.
"It's Uda."
"It's Uda, honey."
Safa still hasn't budged. Edzar did not give up. Slowly and cautiously, Edzar grabbed Safa's fingers hugging her knees. For a moment the girl looked stiff. But gradually it softened as Edzar stroked her feelingly.
"Darling? It's Uda."
"Don't be afraid."
"Don't be afraid. Uda ain't gonna be anything to you."
Unexpectedly, Safa's head looked up, slightly peering over the back of her knees on which she was resting. A second later the girl hugged Edzar. Roared with trembling bodies on the lap of the man.
Some people out there are breathing. At least Safa's reaction wasn't as alarming as their shadow, although perhaps the girl would be a little traumatized. But it does not seem too severe, the proof is that Safa still wants to hug Edzar who incidentally is the opposite sex.
Edzar returned Safa's embrace was no less tight. He pecked at her many times his girl's messy hair. His heart as if struck by Godam felt Safa's shivering body.
His hands were raised rubbing Safa's back. The girl's loud cry sounded heartbreaking. Edzar gulped as his eyes slightly shadowed and blurry. Then he buried his face on Safa's shoulder.
While out there people seem busy taking care of the driver who seems to be dying. Edzar doesn't care, even though the police will call him a description later. At least he did not regret making the man battered. In fact, Edzar had not been satisfied because he thought a blow was too light for the size of a jerk man like him.
He secretly thought of a way for the man to be punished the most severely. Edzar made sure the man would not be able to see the world in peace.
He pecked Safa's head back from the side. Her body was heavy, it seemed like the girl was asleep because her shoulders had stopped shaking. Only the occasional gulping effect of a long cry.
Carefully Edzar shifted towards the door. Slowly he got out of the car with Safa in his carrier. Edzar held her in front like a child.
It made some people who had been waiting for a moment to come closer. Edzar beckoned for everyone to be silent.
Mr. Halim rubbed his wet and red eyes. It was as if the man had cried.
"My daughter...."
"We better get him to the hospital for a divisum. Most likely this could be evidence that would incriminate the perpetrator."
Edzar approved his uncle's proposal. The others nodded, especially Mr. Halim who seemed to have still not recovered from his shock.
Edzar approached the man after putting Safa in his car and making sure the girl was comfortable in her sleep. He hugged the father of his girl to reinforce, "Everything will be fine. I promise you that bastard gets the punishment."
Mr. Halim is getting more and more hilarious. He nodded in the embrace of Edzar. "I believe all this to you. Please don't disappoint me."
"certain."
After that Safa was taken to the hospital for treatment, as well as a thorough examination. Edzar could not help but growl at the sight of some blue rashes adorning his body. He sighed as the emotion began to return to the surface.
Head shakes. This is not the time to be angry. Edzar had to make sure Safa was okay, physically and mentally. At least he hopes this does not make the girl's situation worse.
Yes, Edzar knows. About Safa who has trauma and sedative dependence. The reason the girl had minimal confidence even in herself. Always assume and trust no one.
At first glance, Safa looks normal like a normal girl. But one thing made Edzar realize the peculiarity in the girl. Safa always reacted to some of the words she heard. Especially stupid words, useless, or sentences in the form of ridicule that are actually not intended for him.
From there Edzar began to explore, and knew that Safa had once been bullied. Worse the girl got bullied in childhood.
Edzar did not expect, the girl he thought was perfect turned out to keep a gaping wound. Amazingly, Safa was able to hide all of that with her carefree mask. Knowing this was somehow Edzar's heart ached. Imagining the difficulty of the girl adapting, mingling with her school friends despite the possibility of harboring fear and insecurity.
And Edzar hopes, this incident does not aggravate his mental condition. Edzar was increasingly convinced of his plan to protect the girl completely.
Hopefully after this there will be nothing to stand in the way of my intentions. Inner Edzar.
