SAFAZAR (Pursuing the Love of Mr. Prosecutor)

SAFAZAR (Pursuing the Love of Mr. Prosecutor)
SAFAZAR | CHAPTER 168

"Don't forget to eat, honey. Two more days to come home." Edzar smiled behind the scenes.

Three days have passed since the man's departure to Jakarta. During that time Edzar often contacted him on the sidelines of work, even before leaving or when he wanted to sleep.

Like now. Safa was leaning on the headboard, hugging a mango-shaped fur pillow that Edzar sent her by courier a few days ago.

"A ngisi ShopeePay Safa, huh?" Safa asked about the balance in one of her E-Comerce subscription accounts which suddenly increased by 10 million.

The man nodded, "Yes. Uda has also transferred to your account. Have you checked?"

"Not yet."

"If you want to buy something, just say it. Uda will add up if less."

Safa clucked, "What do you think Safa is so poor?"

Edzar was silent, his eyes fixed on the wife who he realized was still indifferent. Things that make Edzar restless and not calm every day.

"Ai, maybe Uda's not as good as your father is in terms of material things. But you should know, Uda will try whatever your needs. So, Uda asks that from now on you stop using money from Dad. Can you?" ask Edzar subtly.

"Why? Dad always routinely give me money every week." Safa slightly disagreed with Edzar's proposal. What is wrong with using your own money? Moreover, it has been given to us. Obviously that's his right.

"really. So Uda asks you to stop accepting your Father or Brother's gifts. Now you are fully responsible for Uda. Uda wants you to only use Uda money when you need something. Understand, Honey?"

Safa Manyun, still not willing to release the flow of rupiah that always swells his account every once in a week. But, Mommy had encouraged her to always obey her husband. If what is asked is not something harmful, we must obey it.

"Yes," the break was not sincere.

Edzar reviews the smile. "What you have received keep it, or you can wear it too. No need to be returned. It'd be better if you canister."

"Hm."

"How nominal do you love every week?" ask Edzar again.

"Fifty," answered Safa briefly.

"Million?"

"Hm."

"Yes, Uda love sixty million then."

Kontan Safa turned her head quickly, "Seriously?"

Edzar nodded. His eyes shimmered, his lips narrowly staring at the wife.

But unexpectedly the look of Safa dimmed. His head shook, looking down on the soft pillow he was holding.

"No need. Two five is enough, okay."

Edzar's forehead shriveled, "Why?"

Safa looked up, commenting on a sincere smile. "Safa is learning to skimp. Since jumping into the company, Safa understands how complicated it is to make money. Although sometimes still khilaf buy branded goods, at least Safa has begun to reduce the use in large quantities."

Edzar's smile grew. "Ai, you know what? Uda wants to kiss you right now."

The conversation continued until Safa yawned and fell asleep. Even so Edzar did not immediately disconnect their video call. The man stared intently at the peaceful face of his wife. It felt like Edzar was moving. Hugging and kissing his wife, giving real good night. Raising Safa's blankets that were not properly arranged, even the leash of a nightgown that Safa had lowered at Edzar's request, featuring a mound that was not covered by a bra. Edzar only hoped that no one would enter his wife's room carelessly. Except for Nonya Halim of course.

"Good night, honey. Have a good dream." Edzar whispered with a smile. Laying her body on the bed while continuing to stare at Safa on her phone screen.

.............

"What's wrong?" asked Edzar to Doni who had not been able to look at him.

They are currently in the cafeteria for lunch. Doni blinked getting a question from the superior. The man sipped his drink quickly. Then focus on seeing Edzar.

"My feelings or not, yes. Three days later, my father's face was glowing."

Edzar glared at the ridiculous statement of one of his staff. His head looked at the left right front back. "Are we shooting an ad?"

"Why do you ask that?"

"Your words I've read on Billboard skincare products," said Edzar flat. Then back to scooping food into the mouth.

Doni scolded, sneering at Edzar who was always indifferent. "I seriously know, sir. Aura Pak tuh kayak is different. I'm happy again."

Edzar stirred the contents of his plate casually. The answer he gave to Doni. "Indeed."

"So right? Do you have a new business?"

"Hm." Edzar nodded. He is indeed pioneering a new venture with Heru.

Edzar rolled his eyes lazily. I guess Doni would question that. Why talk first.

"You're smart, aren't you?"

Kontan Doni nodded, "Oh sure!" excited though.

Edzar straightened his back, looking straight at the man. "Think of yourself."

After saying that Edzar stood up, waltzing away leaving Doni who immediately grunted at Edzar's short answer. Ambiguous as always. Doni became a scourge himself.

Unlike Doni who grumbled, Edzar was actually in the middle of his own messem-mesem in the bathroom. His fingers were busy typing a reply from the wife's message. Safa complained of red marks all over her body that had not gone away, so she had to continue wearing a powder mat to cover it.

"Wear the hijab, baby. Guaranteed you are completely safe" Edzar wrote.

"Wear hijab just want to cover kissmark. Ha ha, you're so funny, Yolanda!"

Edzar chuckles amusedly. His head shook imagining Safa's look as she said that.

"Yes, wear a long shirt with a high collar. It's cold in there, so people won't question."

"The problem is not just the body. Uda also bites Safa's cheeks. It's hard to lose sight of."

Edzar grimaced, slightly scratching his nose. Was he that violent yesterday?

"Ehem." He cleared his throat when someone opened the toilet door. Soon he typed in a reply for Safa and put his phone back in his pocket.

"Prince Edzar? No scheduled trial?"

"It just so happens to be free, sir," replied Edzar while washing his hands in the sink.

"Yes, sir, on sabbatical?"

Edzar only smiled faintly in response.

"I want to ask to go home just hard to ask for forgiveness. Can teach his tactics, as Mr. Edzar right his uncle also works in the Prosecutor's Office, so everything is made easier. Including rising office."

This is what Edzar hates. People always associate his integrity with insiders, none other than the uncle who is the Chief Prosecutor in Surabaya.

They thought he was here because of his recommendation. Though Edzar never once complained about the position to his uncle.

"Mr Mukim." Edzar wiped his hands with a tissue, then turned to face the man named Mukim.

"Do you remember the seminar you presented yesterday?"

"of course. Mr. Edzar doubts my memory apparently."

"really. Because you seem to have forgotten."

"What?" mukim's face looked displeased.

"Don't you say we have to live in harmony with our fellow law agencies?"

"How can we be in line if you're just busy commenting on people's lives?"

Edzar patted the man on the shoulder, "Stop being envious. Before that you have to reflect on your own performance. Be an honest prosecutor, because that's the main foundation."

"With you receiving money from the accused already shows that our quality and credibility are indeed different."

Edzar breezed out, reaching into his mobile phone vibrating in his pocket. Video call from Safa. His face changed completely to sumringah. Edzar smiled broadly to greet the wife who was a manyun across the street.

"Why, Honey? Is his face that wry?"

"Why not reply! Safa waitin too," frowned at the woman.

"Sorry, it's out of the toilet. Why, Honey?"

"Safa's going to the salon. Change the hair color. How do you want Safa's hair?"

Edzar seemed to think. "Whatever, anyway. You want to be used in color and any model still fits. But Uda prefers when your hair is blonde. Sexy. The color blends with your skin."

Safa. "Bright, huh? Okay, deh. Thanks Mas Husband~ The spirit, yes, his work. Bye, Safa go first. Babay, mumah!"

Edzar chuckles. His smile came off with narrowed eyes, something that people rarely saw, but Safa could easily publish.

"So you're married?"

Edzar looked back. Doni stood flabbergasted, his eyes as if they were about to roll out. Then the netra shifted to Edzar who faithfully put on a calm face.

"Now I understand where the light is coming from. Apparently your face is more radiant because there is an aura of the newlyweds!"
