A strange incident has occurred in the dilapidated house of that one.
The golden cat statue with its right hand raised upward, mentioned that the statue brought good luck, rolling right before Akio.
Its rigid form, originally thought to be an ordinary statue but once Akio was about to grab it, the statue moved and sounded like a cat.
“Greetings, I'm Nekomata. You smell comfortable, so I'm here, miaww.”
“AAAAAAA!!”
The fox cried out hysterically in fear, until he unconsciously jumped into the arms of Akio who was nearby. Akashi looked terrified, crashing his back against the back wall with his panicked face.
“This is impossible. Where there is a cat statue that can speak!” yelled Akashi rejecting the truth in plain sight.
“No, no! It must be a demon! I'm sure it is!”
“Yokai! He must be killed immediately! Right now, Mr Akio!!”
“Eh? Why was my arrival rejected like this?” nekomata asked confusedly.
The screams of the two of them were of course heard by the grandfather who was resting on the roof.
“Hey, boy! Why are you so noisy?!” he shouted furiously while banging on the wall.
The cat then returned to being a statue when grandfather showed the trunk of his nose.
“What is this?”
“Ku-cats! Talk!”
“What? What are you struggling with? Basic half-life.” Then he left after feeling no awkwardness, as he hit his own back slowly.
After grandfather returned to the roof, the statue again changed its shape into a cat.
“I feel it will be a danger if the old man knows something about me,” Nekomata said.
“Hei! Who are you exactly?!” asked the fox while pointing, but in the same position he was still in the arms of Akio.
“Change! You mustn't keep clinging to Lord Akio! Move there!” The unwilling Akashi is trying to get rid of the fox from Akio.
“Be-noisy! Be quiet! I just want to be here and you better shut up!”
“You're scared huh? He's just a cat! Why are you afraid?” akashi Syndir.
“I'm not scared!” deny the fox with lies.
“Aduh, duh. I feel guilty for my kind. Sorry, yes. Samurai Oni?” nekomata said apologizing.
Akio was silent for a moment, he did not really understand why there could be a statue this expensive in his house while for daily meals he had to work hard. This cat is very talkative and strange.
The golden-colored cat also invited Akio to speak.
Akio then asked by giving the writing on the cat's palm.
"What are you doing here?"
“You are very good. Ah, I mean, I feel comfortable around you, Samurai Oni. Therefore I am waiting for you here,” he replied.
"You sure you didn't have the wrong house?"
“No.” He shook his head.
"You're the same thing as the two lunatics next to me?" He asked back.
“Ya, more or less so, miaw.”
Occasionally this cat stroked and licked its own front legs, sometimes it stretched the front and back legs alternately. Just like a normal cat.
“Mr Akio, why can she talk?” akashi asked while hiding behind his master's back.
“Man?”
“Stupid! He's just like us,” said the fox.
“I am human,” said Akashi as he turned his face away.
“So how you think about me. But I will not hurt a human being, because I have just been helped by you, Samurai Oni,” Nekomata said as he walked back and forth in front of him.
Akio, the fox and Akashi tilt their heads simultaneously. Signs do not understand since when the figure of the Samurai Oni ever save this stray cat.
“About two days ago, I was at the bottom of a river that had a heavy current, because my feet were pinched I could not breathe for hours there.”
Nekomata stopped moving, then sat down to face Akio. Back he explained, “I thought I was going to die. Then then came the black yokai near me.”
"I didn't save you at all." That's the word Akio uttered through the shadow writing on Nekomata.
“No, Samurai Oni, you have saved me. Dead from being out of breath or dead eaten by my kind, both are equally bad.”
“What the hell does that mean?” asked Akashi in annoyance.
“Be quiet!” the fox shouted equally upset.
“But, you have eliminated that black yokai as well as the stone that made my foot pinch. That's why I have to thank you,” Nekomata said.
That explanation honestly still left Akio confused. He was completely unaware of the existence of this cat, but subconsciously smashed the rock at the bottom of the river along with slashing the cursed yokai figure.
If you think about that possibility, plus the yokai that he slashed was no ordinary yokai, Akio understood it.
"You're not the enemy?" Again Akio asked.
And the fox who read the indirect shadow then said, “I think he's just like us. But if the goal is just thank you isn't it weird?” thought.
“Iya, right. And again he said that Mr. Akio's smell was good. May she intend to eat Mr Akio?” chirp Akashi.
“If you yourself how? You have that weird red hand, but no desire to devour it?” sahut the fox.
“I should have asked that. You're alone, why?” reply Akashi while folding both arms to the front of the chest.
“I'll promise not to do that again.”
“As Kitsune (fox) said, I'm the same as him. I will not hurt a human being, as you have asked kitsune,” Nekomata said.
"If you want to attack me, then attack now." Akio challenges the Nekomata.
“No. I must have been killed by you.”
Nekomata knew very well which samurai like Akio could be underestimated. Moreover, he also witnessed the disappearance of large-bodied yokai that was different levels from lowly yokai just because of one deadly slash from Akio.
"Then do you know why the yokai appear and attack this country?"
“Can you repeat the invisible writing from you?” Nekomata asks that Akio repeat his shadow writing.
As soon as Akio wrote down the shadow sentence slowly for easy reading, every detail of his finger movements would be carefully seen by Nekomata.
After you finish writing that sentence. Nekomata then replied, “I myself am not sure.”
“I also just arrived in a strange way. I'm a cat but it's in the water, clamp anyway,” he lamented.
“That's your reward,” said the fox whispered, mocking intent.
“About your question. Maybe this helps a little, but I'm not sure what I say is true or not,” said Nekomata who was a little uneasy and hesitant to say it.
Akio nodded his head, it didn't matter if it was a lie but there was at least a way out of the problems that befell this country.
“There are people who control us all.”
