Samurai Oni
LOST IN THE COLD

“What the fuck is here?”

Too many things and people froze there. Ta is enough that, even the street that Akashi now stands on, looks very hard and slippery. Akashi's legs almost slipped and fell because of the slippery road.

“This place is really weird. I shouldn't be in a place like this. I'll keep going!”

Akashi immediately left from there after looking around. It just so happened that the blizzard had subsided, no matter what happened but it was possible that the Snow Woman had other affairs.

“By the way how about him huh? I wonder what exactly he was willing to do until he had to delay attacking me?” Akashi wondered.

The Snow Woman has not been seen since. The snowstorm subsided but the cold weather and snowy surface were still there, looking very clear. Many things have been frozen by ice and snow, no water or anything fresh at all.

Houses, trees, residents, streets and many other things, all have been frozen. Some people feel alive, but many have not been so frozen.

During the journey the direction has not changed at all. Akashi, who constantly walked straight and moved away from all the houses there, again found a wide field of snow. It looked as if this place was nothing but a snowy area alone.

“Cold.”

There was no temperature drop at all. After a few steps forward, the snowstorm hit him again. Akashi shouted in surprise, then ran through it while looking for something for him to take cover.

Coincidentally, Akashi found a cave located in the western part of his direction. It was quite far away, but at least he could get there. Using the cave hole to shelter from the fierce snowstorm.

“Argh! It's cold! Cold!” Akashi flicked all over his wet body and hair, as soon as he went in to warm up his body while it could be done at that time.

“Mr Akio still not found. When should I walk without direction? After all, is it true that Mr Akio is in this place? Hopefully yes, because if not then my efforts will be in vain.”

Akashi sat curled up and hugged his legs forward. Trying to melt his brain, and keep calm so that the cold does not get into his body. That's the only way Akashi won't freeze.

“The weather is getting worse. What exactly happened?”

“Entahlah. Mr. Kazuki is investigating. While we have to find some people who may still survive, right?”

“Yes, geez. Once the Master leaves this territory, they act. Really sneaky.”

A group of robed people walked towards the cave, where Akashi was silent at this time. They were all part of the Kazuki clan's vassals. It seems they have started to pass through this area.

Akashi had spent too much time, and he was injured and his election was slow due to the extreme weather. Then, unconsciously he almost fell asleep inside with the body almost frozen.

“Oh, is there someone?”

Akashi woke up as soon as he heard someone's voice. He was surprised to see the source of the voice. At that time, Akashi's view was a little blurred and did not know who was approaching him at this time.

“What are you doing in this cave? Are you a survivor? Hey!”

“There are survivors. That's good news. How much?”

“Only one person. And he looks a bit clumsy now.”

“But, I have not seen at all any male residents with long hair except Mr. Mizunashi.”

“Maybe she's a woman?”

“She was a boy.”

“Please mention name, age and how does this all happen?” One of them bowed his body, and went into the mouth of the cave. Ask Akashi.

However, Akashi did not answer anything other than just squinting at them. The Kazuki clan followers were confused, they began to dream that the person they met was not a resident in the city of Bama.

However, one of them did not stop asking, “What are you doing here? Who are you taking refuge from or what? At least answer my question because we need information.”

Again he said, “Listen? It's in Bama, and the cold weather with the snowy season is crashing into the city right now. Then, do you know sesu—!”

Dap! Dap!

Not hearing his words, Akashi immediately fled. He came out of the cave and ran back barefoot. The cold body looks tired and will freeze it anyway Akashi forced to run.

“Hei! Wait!”

“Stop! Don't chase that madman.”

“What? Wh why? He was the only survivor but instead escaped from this safe cave?” This man who had thick and fused eyebrows was a follower of the Kazuki clan, arguably the samurai who had always been near Kazuki except for certain times. Tokuto's.

“You said to let it go? Why should we do that?” Infuriated, Tokuto continued to raise his tone.

“You how else? Does a guy like him know anything about this? Because based on what I saw, he was too similar to Akashi the Red Hand.” The man who had a cut on the corner of the lip, Muta said.

“What?!”

The three Kazuki clan followers were shocked. They simultaneously turned towards Akashi running but now moved away from there. Feeling not so sure of what Muta was talking about, Tokuto pulled the collar of his clothes.

Then said, “Don't joke! If it was him, he would definitely do something to us!“

“Not. Mr. Kazuki himself said that Akashi the Red Hand never killed a human in the first place. Instead he was very scared,”.

“Fuck with it. Then, was he the one who caused all this mess?”

“Maybe not,” thought Muta then lowered his head, thinking of another possibility.

“Why did you say "maybe", but your face looks sure?”

“Because I think this messy creature is another yokai. She's not. That's all I can think of,” Muta said.

Meanwhile, Akashi had already reached a place that might bring him a warmth. The coldness on both feet had spread to the middle part of his body. Akashi is not strong enough to walk, let alone run.

“Mr Akio ..he is here.”

Bruk!

After entering the courtyard, he collapsed on the spot. There is a house that is quite wide and large and Akashi feels the existence of Akio in the place. But because it was not strong enough to withstand the cold, he had fallen.

“Wait ..seventh. Steady ..my body. I ...want to meet ..Meet Mr. Akio ..again.” With a shrinking voice, he reached out to the front trying to grab something, then Akashi was unconscious afterwards.

Without knowing anything, he fell on the snow-filled courtyard.
