Samurai Oni

Samurai Oni
MEMORABLE

Kuran County, Cemetery.

Akio rests on the back of a gravestone belonging to someone he knows, along with Akashi, Kizu, Nekomata and Yasha. They sat together while providing information related to the yokai and the country.

“Home of Mr. Akio was burned by the residents. Then the old man wearing the tengu mask, I did not know his whereabouts.”

The worst news from the worst is actually said at the earliest from other bad news. The only house Akio has, living together with his grandfather has now been destroyed, burned by fire and charred leaving behind black ashes.

As if they wanted to erect a tomb for Akio, the house of a patch that cost nothing to many was a treasure for Akio, but now it was gone.

“For now it would be better if it did not go anywhere. Besides a lot of people will come chasing, we all have nowhere to go back.”

“Ya, I know.”

Akashi, Kizu and the others gasped in shock, as they rarely heard Akio's voice directly and he spoke up just now, indicating that Akio was hearing their conversation.

“Thank God, Mr. Akio ..”

“It seems like you rarely speak, yes. But after speaking up, making everyone surprised,” said Yasha a little laugh.

“Mr Akio has a ban due to several things. So just understand, Yasha.”

“I understand.”

“By the way why since then how do you speak so polite?”

“You should imitate him, not even ask why he is so,” Kizu said.

Many things have happened, some of Nekomata's explanations have been expected by Akio since he woke up in the Kuran region. But whatever he had experienced, it still did not make him ask why he was saved.

Akio was just thinking of advancing, advancing further ahead without hesitation. Because once he looks back, he will be destroyed.

“Samurai Oni, Yamamoto Akio, right?”

Since then, after Nekomata explained some things about the domestic situation, Akashi and Kizu who were always fighting now suddenly stopped. Because of hearing Yasha mention Akio's full name when since then no one has told him about it.

“Yamamoto Akio?” Akashi asked, confused.

"That's a name I've been throwing away for a long time." His handwriting on the sand reveals.

“Oh, so 'do you? At least I understand. I understand some of you, Samurai Oni. This term has been around for a long time since you were exiled, right?”

Akio nodded and again asked, "Who told you? And who are you really?"

Yasha smile. “Many people attend funerals to grieve, every year even every day there must be. And one of them is a person who is very well known to you, Yamamoto Akio.”

Highlighting Yasha's bright eyes slightly reminded her of Mikio. At the sight of that Akio so thought a lot about Mikio from that first meeting with him to that last one.

“He is a brave man. Then now you're leaning on his back.”

Spontaneous Akio turned around, he walked on all fours then sat facing the front gravestone. It has a familiar name.

“You must have recognized him, right? Akio Yamamoto. The man was stranded to this region about 7 years ago.”

"Micro"

“Kakak.”

How foolish he was to be unaware of whose headstone he used to lean on. This disrespectful act deserves punishment. Akio cried when he saw the name, the name he so longed for had turned into a tombstone that was honestly nothing more than an ordinary stone.

Yasha Manabu, the figure of a foreign man who dressed more neatly than others. Like part of the castle, this man had much better ethics.

However, Yasha is not human but just like Akashi and the others.

Yasha revealed, “I learned this from the man himself. But it's a pity that he couldn't be saved after fighting yokai controller.”

Then confess, “I know. Many people came to this tomb. Most of them talk about you as a person who loses his mind, and some consider you a hero.”

“People come to grieve and talk about you and about other things related to them too,”.

Akashi pulls the collar piece of clothing from Yasha, he snapped, “Don't talk that makes Mr Akio cry! He's in pain to know!”

“Stop, Akashi! Yasha was just trying to tell me what Mr. Akio wanted to know,” Kizu said as she pulled Akashi's body away from Yasha.

Despite the pain, he cried, but only in that way could he temper the yokai that had controlled Mikio's body. There is a sense of wanting to cut them off without caring about anything else, but he does not want to be "Oni", which is actually because Mikio would not want Akio to be like this.

“He told me once, that Yamamoto Akio would become stronger than him. That's what he believes in and I believe in him,” Yasha said.

'Stop whining! Don't be a kid again!' akio's screams inwardly.

Immediately he raised his face from both hands, looking at the vast sky as a sign that he was still alive today. Akio let out a long sigh, wiping away the tears that kept flowing.

Then looked at Yasha from behind the oni mask. Akio said, “Mikio is long dead.”

“Yes, I know it. From the beginning to the end of his life, until his body was controlled by yokai, I saw all of it in plain sight.”

“Then why don't you just save it?!” peekik Akashi was too emotional, because he felt what Akio felt indirectly.

“Because he said, it was his fight. And if he dies then yokai controls him then Yamamoto Akio will come,” Yasha replied.

Yasha said everything, everything she saw, heard and felt.

“Who do you really know so much about, huh?!” Back Akashi shouted, as if replacing the role of Akio.

“I Yasha Manabu. Not anyone other than the most appropriate yokai. I was born from the suffering and happiness of many who have died here.”

Yasha once again said, “I have witnessed the deaths of many people. Including your brother, Mikio.”

Akio nodded, silently looking at Yasha's face. Then he thought in his mind, 'Ah, it just doesn't look foreign. Turns ...'

“You could say, I am a memory. Memories left behind,” Yasha said with a smile back.

His stature was far different, far away. His politeness must be different too. However, Akio could see there was Mikio inside Yasha.

Slowly he grabbed it with his fingers, Akio muttered softly, “So from the beginning Mikio wanted me to kill him.”

“Ya.”

“Not me he wants to kill?”

“Not.”

Yasha is like the memory of many people who have long died. But the biggest one is Mikio. That's why since the beginning Akio felt his brother was still the one who called to this day.

“When to choose, will you stop or continue forward? Because the vile being who bravely controlled Mikio's body, is still alive.”
