Samurai Oni

Samurai Oni
REPORT

“What you said was true, yokai-oni. They will come from this river stream yes.”

Yokai came from the bottom of the river, the territory of the Mizunashi clan. A rushing current there would be no way a fish would just appear, but this is a yokai. His smoky black and red-eyed figure made Akashi and the fox surprised instead of dumbass.

“Dia appeared.”

Like a creature of passion, but the shape of his hand is not like a human. The term yokai is indeed appropriate as the designation of this kind of strange creature.

“It should be called Shinpi-tekina, this country is polluted by an unpleasant smell,” said Akashi.

However, a large body and a strong aura will not make Akio mentally weakened. Samurai Oni, that's how many people call themselves.

A slash!

Putting up the horses, quickly he slashed the yokai until it was divided into two. In an instant the yokai vanished unceremoniously. Auras or air that felt strange were no longer felt.

“Really great. But, how can it be? Only with a wooden sword,” said the fox, amazed to make.

“What a great, Mr Akio! I'm really not wrong for having to give up this life for you,” said Akashi.

Akio immediately hid his wooden sword and ran away without saying anything more. As soon as the two yokai were shocked, they followed Akio's steps which was honestly impossible for them to chase after him.

“Wait, Mr Akio! Why leave me again?”

“Anu ...Samurai Lord! There's something I want to ask!” shouted the fox.

“You why follow! There go! Mr Akio doesn't need you, fox!” pekik Akashi kicked him to fall from the roof.

“You!!”

The reason Akio went in such a hurry was;

“There was someone who came here,” said a samurai.

“You are right, Mr.”

Because the group under the Mizunashi clan came right after Akio eliminated the yokai.

“But, if it is felt, it should be strong enough to subvert some samurai. But the trail is gone, especially after it just appeared?”

“This is weird. Except for two yokai, then this could be further ascertained. But is there a samurai who can fight a yokai that strong in just an instant?”

“Don't even ask me. In this country many have died because yokai come irregular. Not to mention if half the demon that recently appeared.”

“I mean Master is the red hand? About two days ago, dozens of residents had exposed the appearance of the yokai-oni.”

“Really? Take a look at the sketches.”

“Ya.”

The sketch of the picture, a long-haired man spiked. The right hand is red and has long black nails. Large eyeballs are rarely owned by many people, as detailed as that of Akashi the red hand.

“I can't imagine that he's fighting against the likes.”

“Then, is there any other possibility, Mister?”

“The only thing I think about is Samurai Oni.”

The samurai of the Mizunashi clan gasped in shock, hearing their master think this was the work of the Oni Samurai. The name that seemed taboo was uttered even hearing it seemed to make them sin.

“I-it ..,”

Some of them doubt that thought.

“You don't believe it? Which samurai fought without leaving a trace other than him? He is a samurai who is an expert even his sword art is recognized since childhood,” said Mr. Mizunashi, thinking that is what happened.

“Eh, that ..doesn't mean Sir is—”

“Don't talk about this to anyone. I'll report to the Shogun right now.”

Samurai Oni and Akashi the red-handed begin to become fugitives in the land of Shinpi-tekina. In every region of the clan they certainly know who is the Samurai Oni but none of them intend to reveal his identity because it is already considered not part of the country.

Even so, what the ancient fortune teller said had made some of them uneasy.

“I came to report, Mr.”

“Good, please go inside.”

The Shogun Hatekayama happens to be in a state of leisure today, the capital and other regions seem peaceful but one minor flaw in the territory of the Uchigoro clan is at least still imprinted today.

“Sorry if interrupting time Mr.”

“What? I only paint when there's a little time. Tell me, what's with your sudden arrival.”

“Alright, Sir. Long story short, Samurai Oni has acted back.”

Surprised, the Shogun accidentally dropped a brush from between his fingers.

“Dia again?”

“As you said and we all know about Samurai Oni, he is Yamamo —uhuk!” He barely mentioned the surname, Mizunashi Kage coughed deliberately.

“I mean Akio. I don't know what intentions he's actually carrying. At first glance I saw two yokai roaming around, and I was afraid—”

Mizunashi's sentence faltered as the Shogun raised his hand with his eyes closed. He seems to want to stop this conversation.

“I know what you think. But Akio had already been guided by his own teacher. He has been forbidden to raise his sword and also open his mouth to speak,” he said with his own eyes.

“Then ...he has violated.”

“Tak is not just what you just thought about the existence of two yokai who might be with Akio. But breaking the sentence that has been given will make him do seppuku.”

“Mr correct.” Mizunashi lowered his head heavily. As if reluctant to accept the reality about Akio.

“But relax. The night when cherry blossoms bloom, Samurai Oni or Akio also just committed the offense,” Shogun said.

“What do you mean Sir, to calm down?” mizunashi asked not to understand.

“It is true that he raised a sword to fight but who was his opponent? The damned yokai.”

“Then will you repeal Akio's punishment?” ask and hope from one of the founders of the country, Mizunashi Kage.

“No. It will never be revoked because she will be forever like that.”

Pupus is the hope of Mizunashi who never even once met this boy named Akio. The happy face that had been shown was now again bowed lethargic after hearing the Shogun's statement.

“He is forbidden to fight against humans. How does this happen?” The Shogun spoke again, changing a bit from Akio's punishment all along.

“That's really good news, Shogun Hatekayama! In this way, it is possible that Akio will slowly change,” said Mizunashi while bowing respectfully.

“It looks like you are very happy with him.”

“Of course. The foretold hero had come, but he had done nothing. As soon as I heard the penalty was changed a little I would certainly be very happy.”

“What you love is the style or art of the sword, right? Naturally everyone likes it, moreover he will be an unexpected great help to combat the damned yokai.”

“Good!”

Once again Mizunashi Kage bowed his head respectfully. Continuing to smile as he exited the Shogun's room in Hatekayama, the ponytail-haired man felt there was justice to Akio's fate.

“I have to deliver this immediately to others!”
