Samurai Oni

Samurai Oni
THE CHOSEN

As far as destiny is concerned, no one can defeat it. The so-called fortune-teller is just an intermediary who will one day disappear from this world.

Shinpi-tekina and yokai are also cursed. But until when does the era of fighting the yokai continue? Until generations without knowing must survive until when as if staring at fate or destiny that will forever be the same.

Same with Akio. The fortune teller stated that the son who will be born in the Yamamoto clan will later become a hero and Shogun in the land of Shinpi-tekina. But that is just utterance, if this continues to stick into the mind of the person who has been predicted then surely he will be burdened.

Akio is currently lamenting, what is his real purpose is simply to fulfill the contents of the prophecy or just simply not want the existence of the yokai?

All of those things are still on the verge between reality and illusion.

“I will make this sword as similar as possible to Akio.”

Grandfather tengu intends to re-forge the sword after knowing that purifying or expelling evil spirits from the sword is not easy. Moreover, the evil spirits that enter are vengeful spirits, not only one but also hundreds or even thousands of evil spirits enter.

“You are very strong. The energy of your life, this spiritual does not even make the evil spirits harass him. Precisely dodge.”

“I accept your compliment. But that doesn't mean people like me are just a little left. You may not feel it because they are good at manipulating the power themselves.”

“Wah, I only found out for the first time that there are those who are good at hiding that spiritual power. Is it the same as when eliminating the air of existence?”

“Yes. Can you say that. Well don't let you stick that fang to me, go, and I'll finish this as soon as night falls.”

A sword filled with vengeance from the yokai, an evil spirit along with a power that will curse anyone once the sword is touched. Yet another story if the stiffening has considerable spiritual power.

It is rarely seen because it is commonly owned by priests, monks and the like. Moreover, the samurai who used to hold their swords to attack enemies no matter humans or wild animals though.

It is very rare for spiritual power to exist in the bodies of samurai, but that does not mean there is no. For they must have learned it to eliminate the damned yokai as it has been since Shinpi-tekina existed.

And one of them is Naruhaya's grandfather, commonly called tengu grandfather because of his habit of wearing tengu masks. Now he is forging a sword full of vengeance just to test Akio later.

***

Nothing, the Kuran region is indeed suitable for loners. But it is nothing but a living prison for Akio who feels absolutely no freedom here.

He who used to walk to eradicate yokai missed by the samurai, now he can only sit and lie near the lake until finally asleep.

This afternoon is getting hotter, then slowly the sun will soon sink. Nothing has changed here other than the whirring of the wind and the waves being heard in turn. While the lake was peaceful as if asleep.

“Mr Akio.” Akashi slowly calls, barefoot, intending to approach Akio.

Realizing that a figure was approaching, Akio then changed his position from the one lying down, he sat down. Before turning his head, Akio again put on the oni mask.

“Mr Akio, am I bothering you?” akashi asked with a slight fear.

Akio shook his head. He then turned his body, facing the lake and turned his back to Akashi.

“Can I sit with you?” Akashi asked again.

“What business is it?”

Surprised to hear Akio speak, Akashi suddenly became nervous.

“A-I just want to sit down. Besides being with them makes me not feel comfortable,” said Akashi who then ran small and sat next to Akio.

“By the way Mr Akio, what are you doing here?”

“I just want to be here. That's it.”

“Oh, so yes.”

“So that midget grandpa asked me to cut down a tree here. He said he wanted to make a house, but until now still not ready as well.”

“You didn't help?”

“I helped him cut down trees and also tie-tied so. But due to being too exhausted, they finally stopped for a moment to eat.”

“Then you didn't eat?”

“No.“ Akashi shook his head. “Will not eat before Mr. Akio.”

“I won't eat for a week. You eat.”

By raising the voice, Akashi said, “Not going!”

“As far as you are.”

“Oh yes! I remembered something. There's something I want to show Mr Akio!” akashi suddenly got very excited. He then galloped out of the forest towards somewhere.

Until nightfall, Akashi did not arrive. The night will be late and Akio may not always be here, he quickly went from there.

“Wait.” But the sound of someone shaking from behind stopped Akio.

An impressed voice was whispering softly but it sounded very loud.

“Who?” Asking, Akio turned his back.

There was only a large rock across the silent freshwater lake. The robe and sword did not move from there. So did the wind around.

Feeling strange, but Akio tried not to think about it anymore. For there is no point in thinking of impossible dreams.

“Hm, I started to stretch indistinctly since I was in this lake.”

Back he set foot to leave the lake in the forest. After a few steps and until then not too far away from the lake, something came from the direction outside the forest towards him.

“What is it?”

The wind swirling around the more he felt unnaturally. As if the sky was rumbling, Akio wondered to himself what was ahead?

DAKK!

The stranger seemed to be moving on its own from the beginning, darting so fast that it hit the face of Akio. And that made Akio's body unbalanced, he fell backward.

“Gosh!”

Which then splashed into the freshwater lake there.

At the same time, Akashi is being held by the grandfather since then by occupying him and threatening.

“You sure this will be okay?” ask Yasha about something she's been worried about for a long time.

“Yasha right. If something happens to Mr Akio, how?” Kizu suffers from what will happen to Akio.

“Mr Akio ..I believe him!” Instead Nekomata was excited.

Kizu, Nekomata and Yasha stood still with their own thoughts. Worrying about Akio but also believing that their master would pass him easily.

Grandpa Tengu could only keep quiet by betting. “We see if he is able to do it or not, because it is the sword that chooses not vice versa.”
