44. YOU BROKE MY HEART IN TO A PIECES

The Nara House

"We're done here."

Nara is a passive girl who cannot express what she feels. His eyes only stared straight at the blackened television screen.

Since he came home from the cafe, he has been complaining to Nathan thousands of times.

Nathan looked at Nara with his eyes bulging. Her ears don't hurt, do they?

Ended up?

Done it?

Right, Nathan's been hurting her, say he's been cheating on her for two years. But, should it end? Is there no second chance to fix everything?

"Dear, please don't say that. Give me

time to explain" Nathan said.

Nara flinching. Explain what else? Reason tricked him? He doesn't need that. The facts and truth are revealed in the future

his eye. Why else give an explanation?

"I-i-"

"Stop calls me baby, my heart hurts

heard it when I knew that it wasn't mine!" Nara cut in

nathan said without turning his face to Nathan. A soda in his hand

almost crumpled because in a strong grip.

"Please, don't say that, I won't

Nathan tries to convince Nara. Whatever he will do so that his lover can take him back. And they continue their dream of getting married.

Nathan got up and walked up to Nara. He sat down with his hanker and took Nara's hand and grasped it.

"I know I'm a man who doesn't know the shame of asking for a second chance with you when you've obviously been lying. But really, I'm not willing and don't accept if you ask to separate. You know how much I do

love you's.  I can't love if

you have to separate from me." Nathan puts his face in Nara's hands.

"Please Ynara, I'll finish it as soon as I can with Delia. Please give me some time."

Nara shook her head and tried to pull her hand from Nathan's grasp.

"No Nathan's. The second chance. We're done,"

Nara stood up and was about to leave the man alone there. Thought

it's already full of Nathan's words just now, 'I'll finish as soon as I can with Delia.' If Nara gives Nathan time and opportunity and waits for the man to finish his business with his wife, it means that Nara actually opens the door to mischief for herself.

"Go home! Repair your relationship with your wife. Like you said, Delia your wife is your parent's choice. I'll tell you one thing, the choice of parents could be the best for us."

Nara is now on par with a donkey. He fell on the same thing a second time. A few years ago he experienced this, he lost to the choice of his lover's parents. Right now, he is too

losing in the same.

"Thank you for these two years, don't come here again and

bring that!" nara continued and pulled her rough hand out of Nathan's grasp, then

grabbing the envelope on the table and

cram it on Nathan.

Nara stepped quietly towards her room on the second floor. If asked how his heart is now, the answer, already broken into pieces. Especially after knowing the fact that he experienced something that had already happened. His heart screamed, why could I

that stupid? Why should men who bond with other women who come

me me? Why do I have to be the one defeated?

"Ynara, did you forget your promise?" Nathan's words stopped Nara from stepping on the first step. Without

turning to Nathan, Nara stood waiting for the continuation of the sentence from the man who

tricked him that.

"Didn't you promise to stay by my side under any circumstances? Have you forgotten?" Nara didn't forget, though,

someone else's lover, this is even someone else's husband. Is Nara still sane if

hang with that guy?

"Me and Delia got married when I first met you. It's a wedding that's been planned for years, but I always buy time because I don't love Delia otherwise." Nathan begins his marriage story even though Nara doesn't

ask him to tell a story.

"The papa company was a little shaken because papa suddenly got sick and was tricked by his partner. Her father Delia helped and asked

I paid him by marrying his son. I asked for time and of course

it's just an excuse. I worked hard and desperately with a purpose so that I could

stabilizing papa's company and returning the funds."

Both positions are still the same. Nathan stood facing Nara's back. There was no response from Nara. Even to turn around, he did not want to. Was he not interested in the story Nathan was telling?

"The old man caught me. Behind me, they even started another collaboration, a project that now exists in Surabaya and Medan. Once agreed, they gave it to me and Delia's parents asked for her payment right then and there."

Nathan looked down upon realizing that he was a weak man who could not resist the old man's insistence. Dare not to voice his desire

because the whole family will be his opponent.

"I can't refuse Ynara for something. My mouth has no power to say no because anything that comes out of my mouth is just

sounds like shit to them." This time Nathan really shed tears.

"When I have resigned to the life path that has been determined, I met you at the meeting. I don't know what magic you have in your smile. It was as if I had the strength and

new life. I fell in love with you then and was determined to get

your love when my marriage is in sight."

Nathan snorted for a moment then muttered, "i'm really a jerk, right?"

"All night, every day, I think about how to get close to you. And I fell asleep because of my love. I chose to lie to you, hoping soon what was assigned to me

can be finished as soon as possible and go take you somewhere else away from

people here. I don't even mind if I have to live in the village

your yard and take it off. But, ..."

Nathan lowered his head and stomped his own temple.

"Lies are still a rot that will one day be exposed. Today, the greatest misfortune of my life happened."

"It's not just bad luck to you. But day

this is bad luck to me too. I am so sorry to have known and fallen

love you. Congratulations Nathan, you broke my heart in to a pieces."

Nara turned around after speaking. His face was so red with his eyes. He smiled with a flat expressionless look.

"Nathan, I appreciate and thank you for your great love for me. But sorry, I don't intend to stay on my feet

your side when that side belongs to another woman. I'm sorry, I can't keep my promise."

"Honey, I told you, I never felt in love with

Delia. Please Ynara, please pull your words. Please just say if you give me a

second chance's. I promise you, baby, I'll finish it as soon as I can. What are you

remember we were together for two years, did I ever lie to you? I

always honest, I'm just lying about my marital status to you, me--"

"And that's our problem now!"

Nara screams cutting Nathan's words.

"You said you were honest? Heh! Doesn't your mouth shake saying that? You're not being honest Nathan. You Lied to me." Nara

take a breath and also exhale. For a moment he closed his eyes

restoring emotion.

"No second chance for wild like you. Please

get out of my house!" Nara drove Nathan flat.

"Neara..."

"OUT!!!"
