Shiro was not surprised, as humanoid beings orbras did have their own Orbs. This is the knowledge he gained. But he did not know, why the Devil wanted an Orb belonging to the Dark Elf Race.

And the last sentence of the Devil made Shiro think of various reasons.

"It seems like there is another secret hidden behind the Orb," Shiro murmured.

Shiro rushed over, but he was a step too late. The demon swallowed the Orb in one gulp.

Shiro was surprised by what the Devil was doing, but a feeling of danger immediately implied in his mind.
