44. First Blood

"Prepared for an attack." Shiro orders Brendy and Denshu.

The two nodded, Brendy entered into a state of Camouflage.

Shiro counted 12 Ice Elves, plus Shiryuu-senpai. That means there are 13 enemies Shiro, Brendy and Denshu must face.

Shiro saw the Ice Elf leader who was at the very front giving command to the Ice Elves who were behind him.

The Ice Elves had already started moving.

There were 4 Ice Elves running around the room and there was a Dagger in their hands.

" It seems like they are about to attack us from all sides, remain vigilant." Shiro ordered Denshu and Brendy.

Other than the 4 Ice Elves who were trying to ambush them, there were 3 Ice Elves who were muttering, not what they were muttering.

Shiro understood that, he gestured for Denshu to prepare an attack as well.

Looking at Denshu who was setting up the spell, one of the Ice Elf Assassins was intending to attack Denshu.

The Ice Elf Assassin's attack was successfully repelled by Brendy.

"It's not that easy to attack him, my opponent" Brendy said with a grin on his face.

Feeling his attack fail, the Ice Elf retreated and moved away.

"Huahahaha~ It seems like they are afraid of me" Brendy said proudly.

"No Fool, the opponent's Mage attack has come" Shiro rebuked Brendy, reminding him to prepare for the opponent's attack.

There were 3 Snowballs flying towards Shiro and the others.

"Big Fire Ball."

Denshu also unleashed a spell that was no less big than the Snowball thrown by the opponent.

An explosion occurred, both sides of the attack collided. The effect of the attack made the surrounding area filled with fog.

A white mist spread out and blocked the view of Shiro and the others. But Shiro knew the surrounding situation through his perception.

Through his perception, Shiro sensed that the enemy side had already started moving, they seemed to be intent on attacking All-In.

Only the leader, 3 Mage and Shiryuu-senpai remained in his place. The remaining Ice Elves were rushing towards Shiro, Denshu and Brendy, including the four Ice Elves Assassins.

And Shiro prepared to accept their attack.

Slowly, the moving shadow of the Ice Elves was seen from behind the White Mist. Brendy and Denshu were ready to take the attack.

Brendy instantly entered the Camouflage state and began to move attacking one of the four Ice Elf Assassins.

and Denshu, he saved his remaining Aura a little, he had no intention of spending his Aura through long-range combat, he intended to attack the Ice Elves through melee attacks.

Shiro held onto Katana with both hands, not forgetting that he coated his blade with Aura. Then he moved swiftly towards the nearby Ice Elf.

Shiro moved very quickly, the Ice Elf that Shiro was after was surprised to see Shiro suddenly appear in front of him.

Brendy fended off the Ice Elf's attack with a smile, he grew excited. "Good, that's what I want."

Both retreat.

Brendy looked at the Ice Elf, "Let's continue."

"One is dead" said the Ice Elf Panatua.

Shiryuu-senpai was surprised, her eyes twinkling. "So powerful, you guys are so great."

But instead of a smile of pride appearing, the Ice Elf Elder smiled wryly. He shook his head, "It wasn't the three boys who died, but one of my men."

"Cannot be. How come?" shiryuu-senpai said in disbelief.

"The boy who used the sword slashed at my Fruit in one fell. The boy's movements were very fast making my men not wince, even I had a hard time seeing his movements." explained the Ice Elf Elder.

"Whos the Swing?" shiryuu-senpai.

Shiryuu-senpai thought of the sword-wielding boy, as she remembered there was no apprentice boy who used a sword.

Suddenly remembering Shiro's words that Shiro has a Soul Weapon, Shiro does not tell him about his type and ability of Soul Weapon.

Shiryuu-senpai had never seen Shiro use his Soul Weapon. So he could only guess that the boy who used Pedanh was Shiro.

"The boy may be named Shiro, his speed may have come from his Sword" Shiryuu-senpai said.

"It is so, we just need to slow it down." response Panatua Ice Elf.

The Ice Elf Elder then spoke to the remaining Ice Elf Mages.

The Ice Elf Mage nodded, they extended both hands forward and began to cast spells.

The Ice Elf Mage's hands came out a Cold Air that flowed into the battlefield.

"The stronger the boy, the more interested we are" said the Ice Elf's Panatua.

Back to Shiro's side.

Shiro, who was closest to the Ice Elf Mages, felt a change happening.

"Damn." curse Shiro. He knew what the Ice Elf Panatua was planning.

Shiro took out a knife and threw it behind.

The blade Shiro threw managed to repel the attack from one of the Ice Elf Assassins that had nearly attacked Denshu.

Realizing that his attack had failed, the Ice Elf Assassin retreated and kept his distance.

"Thank you Shiro." said Denshu.

Shiro nodded, he noticed Denshu's state and he approached Denshu, trying to protect him.

Shiro tau if Aura Denshu slowly thinned due to the previous fight. Denshu, who was of the Mage Elemental type, would have difficulty fighting an Assassin alone.

Although Denshu was a Battle Mage who could attack from close range, Denshu still had to rely on the Aura's supply in attacking.

"You okay, Denshu? Can you still fight ?" ask Shiro.

"Unless the lack of Aura, the rest is okay. No need to worry about me, I can still fight." Denshu tried to answer with a smile on his face.

Shiro knew the truth, and he knew that Denshu was trying to be tough and did not want to be a burden to Shiro.

Shiro could only nod.

Sensing the temperature getting colder, Shiro could not help but give orders to Denshu and Brendy.

"Huh~ Quick Fight." Shiro orders Denshu and Brendy, fearing they are stalling too much. They might freeze to death here.

"Yes" they said.
