158. Lizardmen

Shiro was happy to have found the target. The humanoid monster Shiro encountered was a greenish-blue coloured monster that had a tail with scales and a lizard-like posture.

Shiro must have recognized him, since the humanoid monster was the Lizardman Race.

Since the target had already been found, Shiro did not linger any longer. He immediately accelerated towards the lone Lizardman.

The Lizardman also seemed to sense the danger around him, yet he found nothing when glancing at the surroundings.

Suddenly he felt a hand clutching his neck very firmly, making him difficult to breathe.

His body slowly rose, as he wanted to shout for help. His mouth was as if someone was holding so he could not speak.

Shiro's appearance was finally seen. "It's not a suitable place."

Shiro took the Lizardman to a quiet place behind a large mangrove tree. After which, Shiro began to ask the Lizardman.

"Where is your camp?" ask Shiro.

The Lizardman was surprised, he understood human language. However, he did not intend to answer Shiro's question. He is a faithful man, he would rather die than tell the enemy.

Green smoke began to appear from the Lizardman's mouth. Seeing this Shiro frowned. He had not expected the Lizardman to be so vicious.

"Because you don't want to talk, you better shut up forever."

Shiro did not allow the green smoke to spread, he knew that it was not a good thing for him, most likely poison. Then Shiro took out the Twin White Tiger and slashed at the Lizardman's neck.

But even though the Lizardman's head had already been decapitated, green smoke still came out from the Lizardman's mouth.

Seeing this, Shiro immediately flew over and entered an invisible state. This green smoke might catch the attention of another Lizardman.

Sure enough, not long after that. The sound of splashing water like the sound of someone running on ai rang out in Shiro's ears.

Although Shiro had already found the Lizardman's residence, he did not immediately act rashly. He wanted to see what the Lizardman would do next. Rarely did he see an interesting spectacle.

Then Shiro saw the Lizardmen begin to collect the wood and stack it. After that, the Lizardman who looked like a leader holding a trident carried the corpse of the Lizardman and placed it on top of the pile of wood.

"Are they going to burn the body?" Shiro wondered at the actions of the Lizardmen.

It seemed that these Lizardmen were more human than Orcs who ate their dead comrades.

Shiro's guess was right, then he saw the pile of bodies began to be burned along with the bodies. The other Lizardmen seemed solemnly bowed.

Utilizing the Lizardmen gathered in one place, Shiro began scanning their Auras. Shiro was surprised because he did not find the slightest Demon Aura among these Lizardmen.

Shiro also breathed a sigh of relief as there was no need to bother thinking about the devious actions of the Devils.

The Lizardman corpse-burning ceremony was over, the Lizardmen began to return to their respective residences.

Shiro also did not stay idle, he followed the Lizardman who was carrying the trident. He considered the Lizardman to be the leader of these Lizardmen.

"Difficult." Shiro answered directly.

Shiro then explained the reason to the Lizardman leader: "Your appearance is much different from that of a human. If you meet a human, maybe you will immediately be considered an enemy. You will definitely be slaughtered, but even worse you may be persecuted and treated very badly."
