Shiro: The Secret Hero

Shiro: The Secret Hero
192. Impossible though

The Association Chief sighed heavily listening to Shiro's request. He then gives up his job and takes Shiro to the location of the Hero Association library. His job was replaced by Anastasya.

Shiro followed the Association Leader, he wanted to see what exactly the Secret that the meeting had stored up was, to the extent that it was sealed and no one could open it.

He wasn't too sure he could unseal it, but he was sure there must be a clue to unlock it.

Eventually the two arrived at the library room, in which there were many books. Shiro has read many books here, so he does not believe that the book that holds the Secret is in the library that he often visited first.

The chairman of the Association picked up a book, and suddenly a secret passage opened up from behind the bookshelf. Shiro was stunned, he did not expect there to be a secret passage here. Moreover, he did not sense the mechanism involving Aura. That means these hidden doors were made using manual means.

The Association Chairman took out a torch and entered into a secret chamber that led underground.

Under the ground, Shiro followed the Association Leader who was in front of him. Inside this dungeon, he could see that the Orb owned by the Hero Association Party was here.

Apparently, in addition to being a Secret underground room, this room is also used as a Warehouse that stores many important items.

"Chairman, wouldn't it be dangerous if all the important items were stored in one place without any protection mechanism?" ask Shiro.

"Haha~ No problem, the Hero who is guarding outside is already strong enough. Besides, most of them are sensor types, so they'll know that something's wrong is going on."

"Oh.. Good then!"

Shiro did not continue his question, since the Association Chairman was so confident, he was definitely confident in the strength that the Hero Association possessed.

"Okay, we've arrived. This is the book!"

The Chairman of the Association picked up a book with a black cover filled with dust. He handed it to Shiro.

Shiro held the book with the black cover, then wiped away the dust that had accumulated on top of the book.

He then opened the first page that contained a command: "All truth is in this book. Only a human with the purest Soul could open it!"

Then Shiro ignored the preface he did not know meant and looked at the other pages.

When Shiro looked page by page, he was dumbfounded. Because what was there was just plain white paper with no trace of any stain. He went back to the first page and read the introductory sentence of the book.

"The truth? Pure soul? What's that supposed?" murmured Shiro confused.

What truth is stored, and what kind of pure Soul is needed to unlock the information sealed within this book.

"What does sacrifice mean?" Shiro tried to explain it, but then shook his head.

If sacrifice is meant, it means the book is unbelievable. Because it's contaminated with the devil. Only Satan does things through sacrifice.

Then he turned his attention to the book cover. The cover of the book was untitled, and the black color was uneven. In addition, there was a different, somewhat rude feeling in some of his parts that made Shiro feel that something was wrong with the cover of the book.

"Chairman, there's the same weird cover for this book!" Shiro.

Shiro frowned while listening to the Association Chairman's explanation. How can a pure white book turn black. Moreover, this was an important book, where perhaps the current Association Chairman or the humans used to let this blacken out just like that.

He asked the Chairman of the Association: "How can blacken like this?"

"Blood, Use of blood."

Shiro was shocked when he heard the explanation from the Association Chairman. Is it really about sacrifice as he thinks.

"To recognize a pure Soul, blood is necessary. Not much, just one drop. But after hundreds of years, we did not find a pure Soul as this book says. There's been a lot of people trying to drip blood on the cover of this book, but there's always been no reaction."

The Chairman of the Association explained to Shiro why so many patches of dried blood had blackened on the cover of this book. Shiro finally understood, this was a method of tying up items he had heard from various fantasy stories. He also eliminated his suspicions.

The Chairman of the Association told him they had often tried to remove the seal. From the blood of young children, adults, the elderly, men, women, good people, criminals, and the like have all been tried. But the result is nil. None of them succeeded until they gave up.

Shiro was stunned to hear this story, but he could not believe that this book could not be opened. There must be a way to open it. One of the clues that exist is related to the 'Pure Soul' mentioned in the introduction.

"Chairman, how do you interpret the pure Soul that was in the introduction to this book?" tanya Shiro was curious.

"Okay, we don't understand too much either. We consider the pure Soul to be a noble desire that exists among Mankind. But we've tried to find him, but unfortunately we haven't found him!"

"But Chief, Pure Soul intent could also mean the original human of our world or the original human who came out from within the Gate."

The Chairman of the Association gasped as he listened to Shiro's words. "That may be true, but now does anyone know, who is the original human of our world and who is the human that came out of the Gate?"

"It's possible, but who do you think knows which is the real man of our world and which man came out of the Gate?"

Hearing the question back from the Association Chairman, Shiropun fell silent. He doesn't know how to answer it.

Before Shiro spoke, the Association Chief continued his words with a regretful expression: "In addition, we've tried to figure out what you asked just now. But we didn't find him either. Maybe all the humans from the two worlds are so mixed that we don't know the answer."

Shiro fell silent again at the words of the Association Chairman. If it had been hundreds of years, it would have been impossible to find out which one was the original human descendant of this world and which human from another world.

But Shiro still wanted to try it. "Chairman, I want to try it!"

"Suach to you!" replied the Association Chairman in a flat tone. He had given up on this, nor did he believe that Shiro could do it.

After obtaining Permission from the Association Chief, Shiro then bit his finger and dripped blood that came out onto the cover of the book.

When Shiro's blood falls and hits the cover of the book. The blackened blood suddenly peeled off and the cover let out a golden white light.

The Association Chief who was initially unsure, was suddenly dumbfounded when he saw the changes that had happened to the book.

"It's impossible." he said.
