Shiro: The Secret Hero

Shiro: The Secret Hero
151. Sacrifice

Shiro felt a number of Evil Auras like the Demon Auras gathered in the house not far from its location.

Sensing that, Shiro rushed into the house.

However, upon arriving inside the house, Shiro did not find a single living creature. There are only daily supplies such as clothing and tableware.

"Where did that aura come from? I can't be wrong."

Shiro then began to search the house, but he still did not find the source of the Evil Aura.

"Damn, where is it?"

Then Shiro began to concentrate, he began to focus himself. Shiro narrowed the scope of his perception to look for the source of the Evil Aura that came out.

"I found it."

Shiro opened his eyes and focused under the bed. Shiro found a gap behind the bed that gave off the Evil Aura.

AUMMM! Shiro hit the ground and a passage leading down was visible. The hallway has stairs and leads directly underground.

The crumbling sound of the entrance to the dungeon must have caught the attention of the creature that was now the dungeon. Therefore, without delaying any longer, Shiro immediately rushed into the basement.

Entering the basement, Shiro can smell a very thick scent of blood. Smelling the pungent scent of blood, Shiro felt a bad premonition.

Arriving below, Shiro saw a pile of bodies of Orcs neatly arranged to form a pyramid. Under the corpse, there are strange symbols connected to each other.

"Rituals?"

Shiro thought that the pile of corpses on top of the symbol was a ritual sacrifice. But what's the purpose? Shiro doesn't know about it yet.

Shiro flew up and stood on top of the topmost pile of Orc corpses. He could calculate that these bodies numbered about 200 bodies.

And not far in front of him, there was a small ripple Gate of blackish red. The small gate was only the size of an index finger, like a small scratch.

Looking at the pile of corpses beneath him, Shiro thought that the small Gate appeared as a result of the sacrifice of the Orc corpses.

"What should I do?" shiro thought confused.

If this is left alone, this Gate will be wide open. Shiro also knew that the opponent behind this Gate was not an easy opponent, which was likely the Devil Race.

Then Shiro looked down again, he could see the strange symbols were absorbing the blood of the dead Orcs. As it absorbed the blood, the symbols began to emit a red glow.

Shiro felt that these symbols were related to the sacrifice.

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

Shiro suddenly remembered something, he then took out an object from his storage.

The czechrekk! Cekrekk~ Yes, what Shiro did was document the findings. It is useful to report these sacrifices to the Hero Association.

"Okay, that's enough."

After Shiro photographed the sacrifice, he photographed from various Angles, and kept his camera. He was quite satisfied with the images taken, the images of the Orcs, the images of the symbols, and also the image of the small Gate that was almost formed. Shiro took pictures of everything.

After that, Shiro did not forget to send the photos to the Association Chairman. Plus the message, "Sacrifices are likely made by the Devil Race."

Then Shiro began to throw the bodies of the Orcs out of the circle of strange symbols. Because according to him, with no corpses and blood, the sacrifice would most likely fail.

Shiro disposed of the bodies one by one. But suddenly he remembered something that made him fool his efforts.

"Why not earlier?"

Instead of throwing them away, Shiro stored all the Orc corpses into his inventory room. Sure enough, the corpses were quickly absorbed into his storage room.

Now, the pile of Orc corpses had disappeared completely, all that was left was the symbols on the ground along with a few drops of blood still inundated on the ground.

Shiro then checked the strange symbols. He felt that the symbols were made of blood. Yet strangely, Shiro could not remove it at all.

"So, what should I do next?" Shiro was confused thinking about it. He doesn't know what else he should do.

These symbols are associated with sacrifice, he must take an action to remove or change these symbols. Shiro has an idea, but he's not sure the idea will work.

"Well, whatever. Just try it first." Shiro then began painting the symbols with blood still inundated. He began to draw random pictures of the blood. Once upon a time, with the change of the symbol, the sacrificial process would be canceled.

"Okay, done." After a long time of creation, finally the masterpiece is finished. Shiro was quite amazed by what he drew.

He looked at his work with a smile. Although actually what he drew were abstract forms, Shiro believes this is a good picture.

He alone could no longer recognize the symbols before, let alone the person who drew the symbols, would definitely not be able to recognize them.

Shiro nodded and smiled admiring his work, "OK, perfect."

Feeling that he was done, Shiro checked for a moment that he found something valuable in the basement. Unfortunately, he found nothing.

There was no other room in this underground, Shiro could only be disappointed and returned empty-handed.

After that, Shiro was still waiting in the basement, the only time the creatures who made sacrifices would appear.

But alas, a few minutes of waiting, there was no sign of movement of someone entering the basement. Shiro could only return disappointed.

He then walked out and intended to check the condition of Unseen and Twin White Tiger. Given that no creature has made any sacrifices here, it is likely that the enemy is still outside.

Unseen and Twin White Tiger are afraid that they will meet the enemy and experience obstacles. Shiro intends to check their condition, fearing that they both have an accident.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

When Shiro was about to step up, he heard the sound of footsteps heading into the basement.

Shiro was surprised, He did not expect a bit of luck to come. He then went down again without a sound, he also directly activated Stealth skill to hide and eliminate the air of his existence.

Since Shiro was convinced, the other party might also be suspicious of the ruined basement door.

Footsteps begin to feel close, but the movement feels slow. Like someone who is worried about something. Shiro still remained waiting quietly, waiting for the other party to appear.

Before long, the other party finally appeared. And Shiro smiled seeing this.

"Hehe~ Meet."
