Shiro: The Secret Hero

Shiro: The Secret Hero
117. Found him

Entering the normal-looking Gate, Shiro was not rash. Because from Brewthern's explanation when on the way, he explained that when entering the Gate, Scout and Raid Team had seen the enemy.

Therefore, Shiro immediately entered an invisible state, so that his arrival was unknown to the enemy.

Upon entering the Gate, Shiro felt Deja Vu, as the scene inside the Gate right now felt exactly the same as the condition of the Red Gate of Dark Elves.

Even so, the two have differences.

The current Gate though looks like the Forest of Death, with cold air, a forest full of Mist, black soil and trees that look withered. But the gripping atmosphere was more pronounced compared to the Dark Elf Red Gate.

In the Red Gate Dark Elves, the atmosphere and scenery seemed normal, yet it felt like a scene of destruction. Inside this Gate, although the scenery is almost the same, but the feeling of destruction is not there, more to the atmosphere of horror.

If there are people who are timid, maybe they will immediately faint and wry in their pants when they see this scene.

But one thing that makes Shiro surprised is because he did not find any trace of the enemy or the slightest trace of battle inside the Gate. Everything looks clean like nothing happened.

Shiro did not let his guard down, he then began to move in search of the scars of the battle.

Not far from the Gate entrance, Shiro saw a withered tree fall, and there were sword marks on the tree.

Shiro was sure, that there had been battles around here. He also continued to search around, trying to find the direction of the Raid Teams fighting. So that he could find them quickly.

Not far from it, Shiro found traces of arrows. I don't know who the arrow is, but Shiro uses the used arrow as a medium to draw conclusions in determining the direction.

Shiro took a straight line between the fallen withered tree and the former arrow. He also moved in the direction of the straight line.

Although maybe the Raid Team can change direction, but the possibility of a difference in direction is not too significant. Shiro could still find them.

But considering that it has been almost 2 days they did a Raid inside the Gate, it means quite far from the movement of the Raid Team. However it would not be too far away, as they were also definitely doing battles that made their journey somewhat slow.

"I'm sure they're heading this way."

Shiro then rushed towards that direction. After nearly 1 hour of running, Shiro frowned. Because during his journey, he did not find a single creature.

This made Shiro suspicious and a little disappointed, but he could do nothing but keep running. The journey that can take several hours, can Shiro shorten less than 1 hour, is an extraordinary achievement.

Before long, Shiro saw a mountainous region filled with Mist. From the traces of the battle Shiro had found during the journey, he could be certain that the Raid Team must be heading towards the mountains that were in front of him at the moment.

Without thinking much, Shiro immediately rushed into the mountainous region that was in front of him.

The thick fog and the scenery look the same all, making Shiro often almost lost. Without a reminder of Unseen, Shiro may have strayed far from the direction of his journey.

During the journey, Shiro finally understood why the Raid Team wanted to finish this Gate as soon as possible. Because there are no resources that can be consumed in this Gate, including water sources and food sources.

"What a pity," Shiro grumbled.

Shiro can be sure, the Raid Team must consume a lot of its own supplies because there is no food source or water source here.

The higher Shiro stepped, the Fog grew thicker. Shiro's visibility was limited. His perception could only display Aura instead of the surroundings.

This made Shiro quite cautious in stepping. It was fortunate that Unseen was familiar with this kind of foggy dark atmosphere. Shiro assigned Unseen to lead the way in front of him this time.

Although the journey will be slower than before, but it does not matter. As long as the journey went smoothly, it was no mean matter to Shiro.

"Shiro, 200 meters ahead there was a fairly large and steep valley. Be careful."

Unseen's reminder rang out in his mind, making Shiro quite wary.

The reason Shiro wanted to see the situation in the valley, was because he found something inside the valley out of his perception.

Shiro could guess that there were quite a lot of Auras in the valley there, likely Auras of Raid Teams. If it was wrong, there might be a lot of monsters there.

"Unseen, try to find a detour to the bottom of the valley."

Hearing Shiro's orders, Unseen nodded in response. He then leads Shiro to find a safe place to go down there. Although He can fly with his wings, but He wants to see the conditions below first before making a decision.

Shiro did not want his decision to even make a mistake that would trouble him later.

Swoosh~

From the middle of the valley, a fairly strong wind blew. The wind made Shiro and Unseen glance towards the middle of the valley.

The strong wind apparently dispersed the thick fog in the valley. Even if it's only temporary. The fog that was originally scattered because of the strong wind, now began to return again.

But a few seconds, making Shiro can see the conditions in the middle of the valley.

About 20 male and female heroes are seen being surrounded by a group of skeletons that may number in the thousands.

And the previous strong wind came from one of the burly female heroes who used a huge fan the size of 2 meters as a weapon.

The strong wind not only dispersed the Mist, but also blew away the Skeletons and opened the way for the escape of the Raid heroes.

"Find it."

Eventually Shiro is able to discover the whereabouts of the heroes participating in the Raid.

His decision was right, fortunately he did not just fly. If he was still determined to fly, he might also be hit by the attack.

"Shiro, are we going to go straight down?" ask Unseen.

"No, wait a minute. Let's go around this valley for a second. Maybe there's something unexpected around here."

Unseen could only obey Shiro's words. Shiro's words were not groundless, not because of his selfishness, but because of his understanding.

If his guess was earlier that this Skeleton was controlled by the Lich. It was likely that the location of these Lichs would not be far from the location of the battle.

Shortly after, Shiro smiled. Because he found the Aura of someone standing on the edge of the valley not far from him.

Shiro then approached Unseen who was not far in front of him and told him to stay still and move slowly.

Unseen believes in Shiro. For several years together, he knew that Shiro had done something, there must have been a reason.

Then Shiro slowly settles towards a figure on the edge of the valley.

Getting closer, Shiro could finally see the appearance of the figure.

In a ragged black robe, holding a stick.

When he saw the figure, Shiro could not help but smile. With a thin body and an appearance that looks like a thin, dry human. Only the skin that lines the skeletal bones.

Shiro could be sure that the figure in front of him was really a Lich.
