SOLAR & The Specialists
Jazhos

"How do you think Reagan is, Cell?" Mindy did not raise her head from the TV screen that was still changing channels when she mentioned Reagan's name.

"That's how." Selena replied after a few seconds of silence, thinking the right words to describe Reagan, but failed.

"You look familiar to him." Christian folded his arms together and approached Solar, leaning his waist beside him.

"I don't think he likes me too much." Solar stared at the cement floor while playing her feet.

"Nobody really likes you at school, Cell." Sahut Mindy's. "I can't believe I have to say it that clearly to you." He threw the remote over the sofa and sat straight up staring at Solar.

"Mindy's right. No one really likes us at school. The basketball team wants to hang out with me because I have everything they don't have. I want to hang out with them because I like to show off." Christian plays the basketball in his hand.

"They don't hang out with me because they're afraid of you." Connect Mindy, look at Solar.

"Am I scary?" Solar raised next to his eyebrows.

"The girls are avoiding us both. They prefer to be on a side that is not your enemy. So they are very careful when they are around us. I guess ever since the big brother dropped out last year, rumors about you keep circulating. Last I heard, you killed your cat for being too noisy when you were about to take a nap." Mindy spouts laughter. "You don't even have a cat." Continue in the laughter.

"Well, about Reagan." Christian glanced at Solar from the corner of his eye, "How did you get involved in the brawl yesterday? Not quite Reagan, even now you are familiar with Jambul. I don't think I'd be surprised if you went to the mall tomorrow with Wenda and the gang."

"Hey!!" Tegur Mindy, suddenly fed up when he heard the name Wenda, the person who wrote a bad comment on Selena's photo on the school blog. The bad treatment was reciprocated Selena by throwing the contents of her suitcase into the pool during a tour last week.

"Not as you can imagine." Christian and Mindy were still staring at Solar, waiting for his explanation. "I followed Reagan yesterday. Then we got caught in the brawl. I met Jambul there. Reagan helped me escape." Solar explained it systematically.

"Why did you follow Reagan?" From some of the sentences thrown by Solar, inexplicably Christian always focused on his relationship with Reagan.

"I want to give him a gift with the black card my parents left behind." To prove the story, Solar took out a credit card from the bag. Christian takes the card and shows it to Mindy.

"My grandfather never gave me a black mastercard. So lucky for you!" Both corners of Mindy's lips bent down looking at the shiny black card.

"I can't get this card either." Christian, look at the surface of Selena's card. "Why did your parents give you this?"

"They said it was my birthday gift."

"Isn't February 29th over?" Christian looked at Mindy, hoping not to miss something. Mindy just put her shoulders back in response.

"My birthday was exactly a week ago." Solar took out her student card, then showed it to her two friends.

"Well, that's terrible! So you've been lying to us all this time." Mindy hastily pulled out her phone, marking the calendar on Selena's birthday after removing the sign on February 29. "We gave you a gift for your fake birthday. So we're even this year. We're gonna start celebrating your real birthday next year." Continue Mindy

"But I'm curious" said Christian, "If it's you who had a birthday last year why would you want to give Reagan a gift?"

Mindy sighed in dramatic style. "Reagan saved Selena when she drowned on the last day of the tour, remember?" The misconception about who saved who was never confirmed by Reagan and Solar. They let everyone have their own speculations.

"She also helped me escape when I was stuck in a brawl yesterday. So I want to thank him." Connect Solar.

"Have you given him a present?" Mindy asked who answered a nod to Solar's head.

"It has. The bike was lost during the brawl. So I replaced the bike with a new one."

Mindy took a deep breath. "This time your mind's overrated, Christian." Reprovedly. "Have you heard, right, Selena's explanation? It is precisely now that I feel guilty for being so thoroughly fooled about her birthday. I'm not a good friend. I should've found out the truth about Selena's birthday. How'this? I really want to throw you a party until it feels like crying." Mindy's face flushed red and her two eyes glazed over. Solar approached. His attitude made Mindy think that Solar was feeling guilty. "It's okay. I forgive you." Mindy hugged her best friend's shoulder. Solar who did not know how to just smile thinly upon receiving that treatment.

Christian was weighing a credit card in his hand. He really wanted to believe Solar's story, but it still felt like something was up. He doesn't know what yet. This time he will let it go.

"Wait, let me! I feel guilty for you guys, so it's best this year to let me do it myself." A plan is quickly laid out in Solar's head. There's something she has to do, and she doesn't want Selena's two best friends to be suspicious of her.

"It makes sense." Christian nodded. "My mom's cookie shop phone number is in the pantry, taped to a board near the fridge. If you have trouble finding one, just call one of the house assistants. Let them call."

Christian's house has three main kitchens. One of them is a pantry, or dry kitchen, which is a favorite corner of Christian because there has a supply of small food and drinks for him. Christian basement stairs connected to the pantry. The main kitchen, as well as being a family dining place is where Solar had lunch with his friends. While the last kitchen is the kitchen of adults, where Christian's parents store wine and various types of alcoholic beverages.

Christian was never allowed in. There's a surveillance camera connected to Christian's parents' phones. If he was desperate there, then his parents would immediately know and scold him all out through a video call. The worst punishment his parents could give him was blocking all of Christian's credit cards to make him miserable.

Solar did not order the birthday cake as her friends thought. He immediately ran to the top floor, room and work area Theo. He followed a faint signal that kept asking him to come closer. He must know whose signal it belongs to. He was anxious for the safety of the crew he had left at the south pole. He plans to take Theo out and manipulate his mind. After all, three humans were too many to be able to deal with alone. So he had to separate Theo from Adam and Professor because Solar did not plan to open his disguise any time soon.

He does not slack off because he wants to be as supernatural as possible. Solar did not want to make the house assistants who passed by him feel suspicious. Solar came out of the pantry towards the stairs that would take him to the second floor.

Arriving in front of Theo's room door, Solar knocked slowly. Beyond his estimation, it was Adam who opened the door.

"Hi, Selena. What's up?" Solar's height was only the size of Adam's chest, making him have to look up as he spoke.

"Sir Theo is there?" Solar peeked over Adam's shoulder on his tiptoes, looking around for Theo.

"He just came out. He said he had to take care of something. Is there anything you need?"

"There's something of mine that was carried away by Brother Theo."

"really? You can go in and look for it yourself." Adam opened the door wide and gave way for Solar to pass.

The room is too small a designation to define Theo's private room. What distinguishes is the extent. This room is too large to be called a room. Although Selena and Christian had played together since childhood, Selena never had a reason to go into her room, let alone Theo's room. So this is Solar's first time to see one of their rooms.

This room is more like a workshop. Theo's large bed is on the edge of the room, complete with a nightstand and desk. Opposite it is a giant aquarium containing ornamental fish of sea water. Some types of fish that are in it once encountered Solar on a trip to this land. In the middle of the room there is a special steel-surfaced long lab table equipped with a sink. The desk was full of research tools and several sets of computers, as well as laptops. Two different microscope units of function and size lying next to each other, looks like they've just been used. Reaction tubes containing clear liquids are also arranged there. Scattered papers filled the remaining table surface.

But there is one thing that immediately attracted the attention of Solar. His two feet stepped automatically towards a small jar at the end of the table. Inside it contains the nucleus of one of its colonies. The core is like a life for the Grenoiave. Their bodies are not eternal. The core will also be destroyed when there is no new body in a certain period of time, depending on how strong they are. The Grenoiave needs to change bodies in order to survive. The nucleus is the only organ that can be moved to a new body. The cycle happens constantly. Grenoiave always known each other for a long time even in different bodies.

This makes their colonies very close bonds. The core Solar was looking at belonged to the captain of his ship, Jazho. Jazho was separated from his body in a short time. The energy seems to be fading. That is why Solar can only sense weak signals without knowing Jazho's identity early.

"What are you looking for?" Ask Adam behind Solar. He pulled his phone out of his jeans. "Need to call Theo?"

"Don't!" Solar turned around, "I mean no need."

Adam nodded, he put his phone back in. "Want me help?" Adam approaching. "Maybe I can..." His gaze turned empty. He did not finish his sentence because he was under the influence of Solar, making it in pause condition, aka pause. That opportunity used Solar to take a jar containing Jazho and store it. He intends to search for Jazho's body when the door is opened by the Professor.

"Adam? Why are you standing there?" The Professor's voice resuscitated Adam in an instant. Bule curl it blinked a few times and shook his head, as if he was expelling the thin fog that filled his head.

"Ma..." For a moment, Adam had trouble orienting with the surroundings.

"Are you okay?" The professor shook his shoulder slowly, making him fully conscious.

"There was..." Adam forgot what he had just done. "What's that?" His attention was diverted by the bottle the Professor was holding.

"Theo's family keeps a lot of fine wine and champagne in the kitchen. You know he's got three kitchens with different functions? This house is a real dream." Professor Chant while showing the ten year old wine in his hands with a fluffy smile on the face.

Solar disappeared without a trace. He manipulated himself into a puddle of water and quietly exited through the sidelines of the door connected to the balcony. As soon as it descended to the ground, it changed its shape into the figure of Selena again. With Jazho in hand, he needed to search the ocean in order to be able to communicate with him before Jazho's core was destroyed due to being too long apart from his body.
