UNIVERSITY OF DWISAKTI HOSPITAL
Voni looked at his three guests in turn. After a few seconds, a laugh gushed from his mouth. He seemed rather alarming because of the thick dark circles under his eyes, indicating that the forensic doctor had not gotten enough sleep in recent times.
They were in Voni's office. The room is not too big, but the four of them have got the most comfortable seats.
"I've guessed he won't believe you're straight to-the-point." Adam grumbled as he elbowed the rib of Theo sitting next to him.
"Show her!" Theo Pinta.
Adam sighed heavily, ignoring the laughter of Voni that was beginning to subside. The forensic doctor laughed so hard that he let out tears from both corners of his eyes. He leaned back into his chair as soon as his laughter stopped, as if waiting for the ridiculousness of what else the three marine researchers would show in his study. Adam opens the lid of the box he put on the table, then pushes him so that Voni can see it closer. Seeing something shining from inside the box, Voni stuck his body forward to find out.
"What..this?" Both of Voni's eyes were rounded as he looked at the strange creature that was shining inside the box.
"The alien we're trying to tell you." Answer Theo.
"It's so beautiful." Voni muttered with an astonished face. He lifted his face to look at his three guests. "I've heard of creatures that live in the deep sea can produce light from their own bodies. This isn't one of them?"
"We're oceanographers. If this is a marine animal we know, why did we come all the way here to show you?" Adam began to look impatient. They haven't been there for an hour.
Voni touched the shimmered creature with the tip of the pen, expecting a response.
"He's dead." Theo. "A fluorescent pearl I found when I split her body. We think it's some kind of cell nucleus." Theo looked at Adam. Adam looked back at him. Theo gave him a code through eye movements to take out a small jar containing the core of the creature.
"What?" Whisper Adam.
"Where's the jar?" Ask Theo.
"Aren't you the one who brought it?" Adam asked back.
"I left it at home before I left. Didn't I leave it to you to take when we meet here?" Theo tried to make Adam remember, but Adam frowned. He shook.
"I didn't see him anywhere when I was home." Deny Adam. "Professor, you brought that little jar?" Everyone stared at the Professor who was sitting in the corner of the sofa. His head moved up and down when he was spoken to. Both eyes were unfocused.
"No." The professor replied after muttering indistinctly.
"Let's see, this thing I'm gonna take for us to investigate. There is a special laboratory in our hospital. Not that I believe that this is really an alien like you said. I'm just offering help for further research." Said Voni who was greeted by a snort from Adam. "Seriously, huh! What happened to your Professor?" Further.
The professor was squirming on the sofa with his mouth gaping.
Theo looked at Adam, asking for an explanation as well.
"The professor took a bottle of wine from your house. She spent. I only drink a little because I have to drive." Adam grimacing.
"How long does it take you to get results?" Ask Theo to Voni.
"I can't be sure. I'll get you guys right away."
"If what we say is true, what do you want to do?"
"I don't know either. Maybe friends from the lab will report it to their Professor. Then experts will come to verify. Then there will be a press conference."
"Don't do a press conference!"
"It's not me who makes the decision."
"If you make a press conference, there will be mass panic. The government cannot work optimally if it continues to be under pressure from the community."
Again Adam snorted, "When did you become such a public relations expert?" Ask me not to believe.
"What is your advice then?" Voni asked, starting to grow angry. After all, the creature inside the box was already teasing him. He wanted to believe that what Theo and his friend said was just an assumption. But the logic says otherwise. They are highly educated people in the marine field. Voni begins to fear if what they say is true.
"Bring it straight to the Ministry of National Defense! The country is in danger if these aliens have a special agenda."
"Oh my goodness, Theo! Just listen to yourself! You said something absurd!" Voni Exclamation. "We haven't even confirmed that this creature is an alien yet."
"Better we just take it to Australia! Who knew NASA would come to investigate. So much faster than expecting the Indonesian government to act. The earth is being colonized!" Adam tried to convince Theo.
"Please don't scare me!" Now Voni is really upset. He closed the box violently, then took the phone to contact someone. "Doctor Jerome is there?" He was silent for a while while looking at his watch which showed eight o'clock to ten. "It's okay. I'll call her phone. Thank you." Thank you." He hung up the phone and breathed heavily. "I'll call everyone tonight. I hope tomorrow morning we can start researching. Doctor Jerome is our section chief. I had to convince him first so that things would go well. I'll call you in a day or two, is that enough?"
Theo and Adam compactly nodded.
"The essence of this creature that you were talking about..." Von pointed at the box. "Can you bring it too?"
"We'll find him first." Suddenly Theo's premonition is bad. He was worried that the pearl was gone.
"Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Because of his anger, Voni wanted to immediately get rid of the box to the laboratory. He felt a silly fear that made him think that the longer the creature was in his room, the more likely it would rise again. Suddenly he shuddered.
"How's the case going in Billie's stomach?" Ask Theo suddenly.
"What about his identity? Already found?"
Voni shook his head with an adorable face, "Detective Rudi is really having trouble this time. Due to the lack of data, they could not figure out who owned the DNA. Her dental records, age, and fingerprints don't match any missing person's data that the police have received."
"Then the evidence?"
"As you know, the body did not wear a thread when it was found. Just a little diamond earring. Detective Rudi is finding out about the earrings. We can't just show photos of the bodies and evidence to the media. It can cause anxiety because the condition of the corpse is no longer intact. And.. If in the next few days we still have not found a bright spot, the body must be immediately buried or cremated, even though the case is still running."
"Is it always the missing person who is used as a search benchmark?"
Voni nodded, "The average discovery of a corpse without an identity always has something to do with the missing persons report that the police received."
"Hey, why are you interested in that corpse? Suddenly like this?" Whisper Adam. He felt uncomfortable about offending the dead body and Billie.
"really. Why are you interested in him? Does it remind you of someone?" Voni Sahut.
Theo hurriedly shook his head. "It's all about Billie. I'm disturbed by it."
Voni nodded. Adam's mood deteriorated. Theo who realized this decided to say goodbye.
"Please let us know if the results are out." Theo finally.
Adam half broke and half dragged the sleeping Professor to sleep while delirious. Theo opened the door for them, but didn't go out right away.
"This is going to sound very suspicious to you, nor do I have any reasonable reason to do so. But I need your help."
"What's that?" Voni wasn't really curious. He was very tired and wanted to sleep. In addition, there are alien bodies that he must move from his study tonight as well.
"The teeth of the woman's corpse. Can I have a copy of his dental records?"
Voni frowned. "For what?"
"I'd like to show it to someone if it can help identify him."
"Only family or investigators can get it."
"So you mean I can't?"
Voni exhaled a tired breath. "I don't know what you have to do with the body that was found. But your interest in her is starting to make me wonder."
"I told you my request was a little unreasonable."
Voni seemed to think for a moment, he did not really finish deciding as the next sentence slid out of his mouth. "I'll send it all to you. Including the photos." Suddenly he felt that he might have a hard time if he could easily provide medical information to the oceanographer.

Theo steps out of Legends & Co. He let out a deep breath and squatted down in front of the door of the building that had closed. His hands were raised to the top of his head to shake his hair. He just finished meeting Martin. Now he has confirmation of the diamond earrings that have plagued his mind since he saw them in Selena's ear earlier this afternoon. But the reality that Martin told him made him think more.
'These are my earrings. Waita minute!' Martin, a plontos-headed woodwork man crossed his messy study to pick up a paper full of design scribbles in his closet after Theo showed the photo. 'Two-carat diamond earrings and eighteen-carat white gold. Order dr. Ivanka about two or three years ago. I have long made this design, but did not find a suitable buyer other than dr. Ivankan. It cost about eight thousand dollars at the time. The cut is very neat. Those earrings were my best work during my career in the industry.' Said Martin with a look of laughter while looking at the design of his work.
'But for you, baby.I have some other designs that might fit. Want to look around before you choose?' He continued while rolling the design paper he held.
'Is the earring the only one?'
'of course! I'm a little offended you asked that, honey.' Both corners of Martin's lips bent downward. 'All my work is original! Especially for customers like dr. Ivankan. I only make one and the only one. Dr. Ivanka wouldn't be happy to know I made the same jewelry designs for other people.' Martin fixed the red scarf wrapped around his neck.
Theo is eager to get a different reality, so he does not need to use the dental records sent by Voni. He wanted his suspicions wrong all along. But the information from Martin even made his head spin. There's no way Selena's got anything to do with the woman's corpse. What exactly is going on?
Question after question kept popping up in Theo's head. The one question ends with the next question. He could not stand it. He had to find every answer until he calmed down. In any case, there are still alien problems to be solved besides the problem of an unidentified corpse in Billie's stomach.
In a hurry, Theo pulls out his phone from his jacket pocket. Rudi's detective number is stored there. He immediately pressed the call button before changing his mind. His phone was picked up as quickly as he pressed the call button.
"Hello?"
"Good night, detective. It's Theodore. We met on the beach at the discovery of a stranded whale carcass containing human remains."
"Theodore's an oceanographer?" There was doubt in the voice of detective Rudi. "What are these nights like?"
"There's something I need to say. Soon I'll send an address where detectives can find new information about the evidence found with the body."
A little silence across.
"All right."
