SOLAR & The Specialists
Trapped

THE PERTIWI HOPE HIGH SCHOOL

The last lesson was just finished. Everyone is getting ready to go home. Someone came up to Solar's desk while handing him a broom.

"Today it's time to miss numbers 31-35 for pickets." Solar looked at the broom.

"Crazy, huh?" Mindy takes the broom and throws it away recklessly, stealing the attention of their classmates.

"But today it's Selena's turn! I know that he's never been on a picket." Solar remembers him as class president, but has no idea what his name is.

"Why not go to the picket? There are still you! Why bother others?!" Spray Mindy.

"Rani and Stefan aren't in today, so it's just me and Reagan who have to clean up the class. If Selena comes along, the picket work can be done quickly."

"Gee, this kid has nothing to fear!" Grouser Mindy.

Solar saw Reagan removing the blackboard. "All right." Solar finally. He picked up a broom on the floor. Other than the four of them, everyone hurriedly left the classroom. They thought there was going to be a fight where their class leader was beaten by Selena. They did not want to get involved and immediately went to save themselves.

"Huh? Can you please?!" Mindy exclaimed in disbelief.

It's no secret that Selena and Mindy are children from wealthy families. They never did homework in their entire lives. But that doesn't mean Selena can't. Selena is now Solar.

"Please teach me how!" Pinta Solar on class president. Mindy, who all day was cringe with Selena's behavior, chose to go straight home. Through the direction of the class leader, Solar was immediately proficient in sweeping the entire class. He made sure no dust was left under his watch. As soon as Reagan was done with his job, Solar handed the broom to the class president and followed Reagan out.

"Reagan!" Call her.

"Why follow me?" Reagan did not stop or just look. He walked to the parking lot where his bike was.

"Where are you going?" Solar asked back.

"home." Reagan answered short.

"I want to ask you something." Solar managed to align his steps with Reagan. While walking, he took out a shiny black card that Selena's parents had left yesterday on the dining table. He gave the card to Reagan.

"Why give this to me?" The two are now standing face-to-face near Reagan's waiting bike.

"I don't know what it does."

Reagan. "There's no way you don't know. This is a credit card with no limit. Wanna show me off?"

Solar was silent for a moment, trying to digest Reagan's words with the help of Selena's memory. "Oh, so I can buy anything with that card?" The question Reagan answered with a nod. "I want to buy you something. Is there anything you want?" Reciprocity.

Reagan frowned. "Why are you talking to me?" He tilted his head slightly, looking at Selena's face to second guess what the girl was planning. Come to think of it, it was not natural for her and Selena to be in such a familiar situation right now. Why don't they do PR together?

Reagan then realized something. His expression immediately changed. "Now I understand. You're testing me, right?" Reagan sighed before continuing, "Alright. I thank you for saving me the day I drowned. So you don't have to lure me anymore to return the favor. What do you want now?"

"I don't expect anything from you. I just want us to be friends?" Solar said it hesitantly.

"I've told you I don't want to get involved with you. Go home! Your driver must have been waiting for you." As if confirming his point, Reagan forced Solar to take a step back because he wanted to unlock his bike.

"I wasn't picked up today. Can you take me home?" Solar is not giving up.

Reagan stopped his activities, he raised both eyebrows high while staring at Solar as if a horn had grown on his head.

What does Solar want from this man?

The question swirled around in Solar's head like it was gasing incessantly. He himself does not know. Solar just follows the instincts that come from Selena's memory during life. Selena has a strong interest in Reagan. That interest is what Solar remembers. But due to the lack of experience, Solar has difficulty controlling it. What he did all this time was based on instinct alone. He's still figuring out how to stop Reagan's attraction so he can continue his mission to affect the planet.

"I don't know." Gumam Solar's.

Reagan still looked at him strangely until the guy pedaled his bike to get away from the school area. Solar followed him half-run.

"What the hell do you want?!" Reagan snapped when he found Solar running behind him.

"I want to buy you something with that black card. Anything! Then you drove me home!"

"Why should I? Just find someone else! Christian or anyone!" Reagan pedaled his bike faster, half hoping not to be overtaken by Solar. But his energy is not as strong as Solar's determination when he wants something.

"Can't! Must be you!"

They were unpretentious on the streets, inviting funny reactions from some of the people who saw them. Reagan did not stop. Solar moreover. They're chasing all the way. Reagan was amazed to see Solar's stamina. From his face there were no signs of fatigue, even though Reagan had begun to feel cramps in both legs.

Near the bus stop, Reagan braked his bike. He halted his journey and momentarily forgot about Solar when he saw a horde of students in red and black uniforms coming from the opposite direction carrying wooden blocks of various sizes.

Before long, there were calls coming from behind. Reagan turned his head and was surprised to find a group of students in white and blue uniforms typical of Harapan Pertiwi High School led by Jambul - the head of his school's thugs gang - brandishing iron pipes. Reagan had not yet reacted, a fight broke out. Reagan ignores his bike in search of Solar. He had to save themselves from this inter-school brawl.

Reagan stayed away from the highway where the commotion broke out. Familiar faces that he often saw at school were involved in a fistfight with other students that Reagan did not know. Residents who live around the highway have entered their homes and closed their shops. Reagan just realized this. Maybe they already know the brawl schedule that will happen today. Behind the ice-block cart where Reagan took shelter, he still had a daze looking for Selena's whereabouts. He suspected that the ice cube was accidentally left by its owner who wanted to save himself when the brawl broke.

BRAKKS

BUGGS

Reagan was struck by the fall of one of the brawlers in a red-black uniform on an ice-beam cart. He saw the logo of SMK Bunga Bangsa on the boy's arm. He had not yet risen to retaliate, the opposing camp that was none other than the Reagan school itself immediately came to ganged up, followed by blows that made Reagan grimace just by hearing it. The fight between the two different camps of this school not only happened in the middle of the road, but in the ice block cart as well. The intact ice-ice blocks were thrown here and there to hurt each other.

Shatter shop glass. Bottles filled with gasoline and ignited by fire flew through the air before landing with blasts of fire in all directions. Reagan was busy running to save himself. Now he began to panic because he did not find Selena everywhere. When he was about to give up and planned to escape through a small alley not far from where he was hiding, Selena's figure was seen.

The girl was among the brawlers. He bravely helped to gang up on one of the members of SMK Bunga Bangsa. Somehow an iron pipe was already grasped by Selena. Selena's face was fiercely excited. She became the only girl present in this battle. Jambul was by his side. It made Reagan gawk for a moment.

Why did Selena get to be with Jambul the school thug?, he thought in wonder.

After long weighing between running away alone or carrying Selena, Reagan finally chose to escape through a small alley he had seen. Not long after leaving the hideout, Reagan heard police sirens from a distance. This has not been realized by children who are busy bawuran, including Selena. Reagan really wanted to get away from the place as quickly as possible and avoid the police, but Selena's presence in the middle of the commotion bothered him. He decided to bring Selena.

"Selena!!" Reagan came out of hiding to catch up with Selena and shouted to her name. But a punch that came out of nowhere hit his back before he could get close to the girl. Reagan bowed in pain. Not yet relieved the pain of the blow, his face has been hit by a bump from the side. His presence in a blue white uniform was considered an enemy by the opposing camp His body collapsed to the ground. Both of his hands were raised reflexively to protect the face while anticipating the next attack. But the attack he anticipated did not come.

Reagan broke down one of his hands. She saw Selena beating the children who had attacked her. The children were bigger than him, but Selena did not seem troubled at all when beating them. The girl seemed scary to Reagan. The three men from the opposing camp who had attacked Reagan had already collapsed to the ground.

"You didn't kill them, did you?" Reagan asked worriedly at the condition of the three who were covered with blood.

"Eitherway. I'm kind of getting carried away." Selena answered while fixing her messy hair. The girl smirked happily. Although his back and face were in pain, Reagan hurriedly got up and snatched the iron pipe from Selena's hands.

"Hey-" Selena begins to protest but is cut off by Reagan, "We have to get out of here, the police will be here soon!" Reagan threw the iron pipe at her and pulled Selena's hand. Trudging, Reagan half dragged Selena away from the center of the commotion.
