SOLAR & The Specialists

The crowd of penguins whose heads were dressed in military helmets broke away to form an empty path for Solar who was traveling in its original form. Once on land, Solar moves agilely over the surface of the polar ice caps of Antarctica. He stood on both feet, as did man, though his skin still shimmered silvery. The skin was transparent, but in the next second, the skin was already coated by clothes. Reagan assumed this place was Solar's destination when he disappeared for days.

Solar's two feet never stopped stepping on the driest and coldest plains on earth. It is unaffected by temperatures of minus twenty-seven degrees although it is still in coastal areas of Antarctica. Reagan was amazed. Solar breezes casually on the ice like walking in his own house. The further to the center of the continent, the temperature will decrease drastically. The place where his ship landed was on a plain whose temperature was minus sixty degrees. No snow, not even water. There are no living creatures that roam there other than nematodes that will not be visible to the human eye. That place is really barren.

Solar crouches when he finds Jazho's shell lying not far from the coast. Jazho must have let go before diving into the ocean because it was too heavy.

Increasingly seen, Reagan felt that the appearance of Solar roaming uniformly at the poles is an awkward sight. The sight was also accidentally seen by a thickly dressed man crouched down to observe the penguins. The man had a beard that was almost covered his entire face. From behind the thick beard, Reagan could see her reddish skin with both eyes. Next to her hand was holding a binocular.

"Oiii!" Called the stranger. Reagan looked at Solar who seemed unperturbed. He continued walking without looking, let alone saying. "Oiii!!" Call him again in a louder voice. Some penguins hold their heads up, looking for the origin of the noise. It has now gained the attention of Solar.

Half-running slightly staggering, the man approached Solar. Reagan began to think that the man might be trying to make sure that Solar wasn't an illusion. The foreign male body was nearly two meters tall, a stark contrast when compared to Solar's body which was only as tall as his stomach.

"Little Asian girl apparently." Said the man with a breath. He grinned from behind a thick beard covered in snow. "Aren't you cold?" Name's Olga. The Russian accent is very thick. Reagan noticed that both of these strangers' eyes were bright blue. "Just kick me!" Take it when you don't get any reaction from Solar.

Solar followed. He was led to a large yellow tent that was able to protect its inhabitants from the extreme weather of the south pole. A small helicopter was parked not far away in the tent. Olga opened the tent door to let Solar in first.

There's not much stuff in that tent. Just a bed and a folding table. A fireplace furnace is also constantly lit, making the tent even warmer.

"Make hot chocolate for you. Are you hungry?" Olga Dmitry stirred the viscous liquid inside the cup and handed it to Solar. Solar sniffed the drink and tasted it. Disliked, he spewed the liquid back into the glass as Olga turned away. Solar keeps clutching his cup for good manners. Unasked, Solar sat on the edge of Olga's folding bed. While the owner of the tent just stood up while enjoying his own chocolate.

"Are you really not cold?" Olga pointed at Solar's clothes, then at her own clothes. Naturally, Olga was surprised because the penguin researcher was wearing thick clothes in layers. Even her headgear was made of feathers to keep her warm. Solar has no explanation to dispel this stranger's suspicions.

"My name is Olga Dmitry. What's yourname?"

Solar pointed to the name tag in her uniform.

"Celena. What a beautiful name." Olga took a sip of her chocolate, her eyes not separated from Solar. Sometimes he stared at Solar's body blatantly. "Where are you from and what are you doing in a place like this?"

"My parents said I shouldn't talk to strangers." Solar said, remembering the message of Mama Selena to be careful of unknown people.

Olga laughs. His laughter was heavy because he was used to drinking alcohol. He put his cup on the table. His face was getting red, a bit hot. He had mixed his chocolate with a vodka-like liquor.

"Cute little Asian girl. How old are you?"

"Seventeen."

"In my country, that age can be married."

Solar frowning. He guessed the path of the mind of this thick bearded stranger.

"What is a human like you doing here? This place is too cold for you." Said Solar.

"I'm watching the Chinstrap Penguin. My research station in Vostok, it's a long way from here. It's about seven hundred and forty-five miles." Reagan recalled the black helmeted bird he had encountered on his way here. Again the man smirked. "The helicopter you saw in front of it has been two days. Just enough fuel to get back to Vostok."

Reagan looked at the Russian man with annoyance. He was not interested in his conversation.

"I'm alone. There are nine of my colleagues in Vostok, but I'd rather be alone." Continue without being asked or asked.

"I thought this place was uninhabited." Solar voices the thing that's been spinning in his head ever since he met Olga Dmitry.

"This land is uninhabited. Only animals and plants can survive in a barren place like Antarctica. Even so, thousands of people come here every year for research purposes every summer. In winter, only a few people stay because of work. No one lives here permanently. That's why we set up research stations scattered across this land."

"really?" Reagan understood Solar's anxiety on the ship and her friends. "How many research stations were built here? Where is it located?" Further.

"There may be about seventies research centers established permanently. Locations vary. Most are near the coast. Vostok is near the polar regions. There's no penguin there."

"Everything belongs to Russia?"

"Of course not. There are many countries that set up research stations here. This land does not belong to any country. Everyone is free to come here for research or entertainment purposes. There can be no military headquarters or exploitation here thanks to the Antarctic Treaty."

"A treaty signed by twelve countries to use Antarctica as a peace goal." Gumam Solar's. Reagan was not surprised by Selena's general knowledge.

Solar raised his head to look at him, "Which one?"

"Where are you from and what is your purpose in coming to this cold place wearing only such thin clothes?" Again Olga pointed at Solar's body.

Suddenly Solar stood up. Olga also stood tall, anticipating Solar's departure. Right, you must go!, exclaimed Reagan without a sound.

"I have to go." Said Solar.

"Where to? You can't survive outside alone in such clothes." Olga approached. He touched Solar's shoulder, pressed it to make Solar sit back. Accidentally the skirt of the Solar uniform blushed a little. "You know, I haven't seen a woman since coming to this pole." Olga's breath smells like a mixture of alcohol and acid.

When Olga let loose, Solar dodged. He walked out.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Olga's appeal was not echoed by Solar. He knew that Olga had been very drunk ever since she met him. "please understand! Let me just touch you!" Olga chased. He pulled Solar's shoulders violently. "You'll enjoy it."

Now they stand facing. Olga continued to approach, closing the distance between them. Suddenly his hand had already caressed Solar's neck. Their faces grew closer, making Reagan feel fed up and angry.

"I don't like to be touched." Said Solar, still hoping for the stranger to stop. "I don't want to hurt you." Apparently Solar's warning was considered another intent by Olga. He chuckled, the turmoil burning up.

"Do what you want. I don't mind even having to be in pain." Whisper Olga. He put his free hand on Solar's waist, pulling it. Solar gave no resistance when Olga touched her jaw and ears with her lips. He gave Olga a chance to stop all her intentions.

"Eh?" Olga was stunned when the little Asian girl she had grabbed suddenly vanished. He just hugged the air. Olga was looking everywhere. Without him noticing, the snow hardened under his feet, moving rapidly over the entire calf all the way to the thigh. The snow turned to ice. Olga lost her balance and fell backward, but her hardened legs in the ice held her back. He's confused. Olga tried to escape the ice that kept freezing to make her legs numb. His eyes were diverted by a puddle of water creeping toward him in rapid motion. The puddle rose into his body. Olga's pupils rounded in fear. He tried to get rid of the strange moving water. But his efforts were in vain. Now the water is covering his head. His hands moved wildly to release his face from the water. Now he has trouble breathing. His screams were muted by the water. The longer, the water on his face grew colder. The water turned to ice and froze his head. It was only a few seconds until Olga finally died of hypothermia and was out of breath.

Solar breaks away from Olga's body. He looked at the lifeless body figure beneath his feet. Then he stepped away to continue the journey. Reagan held his breath as long as he saw the incident. He could not describe his feelings of anxiety over the recent incident. He did not have time to digest all that because he also had to go with Solar.

There were no other living creatures visible there but Solar. Temperatures are too extreme for the living creatures of the earth. But for Solar, the temperature of minus forty degrees Celsius is very refreshing after a long stay in the tropics. He decided to return here because he found the captain of his ship –Jazho-, forcibly dissected and taken by Theodore, Christian's brother. Reagan was shocked when the Christian family got involved in this. Now he is no longer the only one who knows the truth about Selena. Reagan only realized that Solar was going ashore alone. Without being told, Reagan immediately knew that Jazho had been destroyed while on his way to the South. The Grenoiave nucleus can't survive long without a body.

During Selena's time, Solar's head was busy thinking about the information Jazho gave her. Due to Jazho's unilateral decision, Solar must adjust the new plan. To be honest, he was still not sure if the planet could be inhabited by colonies. The inhabitants of the earth are already quite dense. After meeting with Olga Dmitry, Solar is anxious about the safety of her colony. There were still many humans wandering around this isolated barren continent. In addition, he was also worried about the attitude of the earth's inhabitants, especially humans who could have refused their arrival. If so, war is inevitable. Inevitably, Reagan was worried as well. He even sympathized with Solar because of the burden of responsibility he had to bear alone.

One of the things Solar is most worried about is the advanced weapons that are very dangerous owned Genomeda ship. If all the colonies agreed, the Grenoiave could easily exterminate any one species or even all the species they chose with the weapon. Solar doesn't want that to happen. If he still had time, he wanted to make things more possible for his colony to live here in peace. And if the intelligent species called humans reject them, Solar will look for a new planet even if it takes a lifetime. Colonies will not become extinct anytime soon if they remain in Genomeda.

An overnight trip brings Solar back to the ship he left behind. Solar had no idea why Jazho had sacrificed himself to look for him. He was the captain of the ship. Many questions have arisen in Solar's head. When Korr, Palean, Ytzo, and Feh, came out of the ship to greet him, for the first time in Solar's life during the mengeseses new planet, he did not eagerly return to the colony. If Reagan could, he wanted to put his hand on Solar's shoulder to give her support.

They were surprised to see Solar in human form. Solar immediately changed its form to Grenoiave.

'Jazho went after you.' Said Korr gave information that was already known to Solar.

'I found the shell when I went up to the mainland. Why'd he leave? Is the ship repaired?'

'Because the ship has been repaired, then he went to look for you.' Answer Palean. 'Before leaving, it sends a signal to Genomeda in the form of the planet's coordinates.'

'I haven't finished mases.' Resist Solar, he sounded agitated.

'We agreed with him because this place is uninhabited. The climate is also very suitable.' Ytzo Sahut.

'Did the heloxe find anything while mengaseses this territory? Can anything be shared with us before reporting it to the colony?' Solar always felt Korr was the most cunning Grenoiave among the others.

'I found the energy source.' Solar looked at the crew of his ship in turn. 'When did Genomeda arrive?'

'The fastest fourteen days on the planet since Jazho sent the signal. It had already been six days since Jazho left. It's a long time until the colony comes. Genomeda is too big to make long-distance jumps, too dangerous for the colony.' Answer Feh. 'I don't see Jazho daritadi. Something happened on the way?'

'Jazho's dead.' Unlike the humans, Solar did not see any expression on this Grenoiave in front of him. 'He died on the way here. I found him separated from the body. It was destroyed shortly after that.' Continue Solar.

'Then, the command is with me.' Korr. No one disputes. Korr's position is right below Jazho. If something happens to him, then this team is automatically taken over by Korr.
