'The number to which the destination is located is inactive or out of range. Please-'
Theo turned off the call. He looked at his cell phone screen. Voni's contact is there. It's been five days since Voni promised to call to inform him about the results of the research of alien creatures Theo found in the sea. Theo started to worry.
"Can't be contacted?" Professor and Adam looked at him seriously from across the table.
Theo.
"Do we need to go to the hospital?" Adam continues.
"Something's gonna happen." Sahut Professor.
A few seconds later, his phone rang. Unknown numbers contacted him. Theo hesitantly raised the call.
"Hello?"
There was a sound of gasping and hasty footsteps.'Theodore, we must meet!'
That's Voni's voice.
Theo raised his head and looked at the Professor. Professor and Adam immediately understood who was talking to Theo. "Where are you?"
'We meet at the station in thirty minutes. I can't wait long. Come alone.'
Phone is immediately disconnected.
"What did he say?" Adam approached.
Theo did not answer. "He wants to see me." He grabbed a jacket on the bed and half ran out of the room. The distance to the station takes half an hour. He has to hurry if he doesn't want to be late.
Arriving at the station, Theo dazed looking for the existence of Voni in the middle of the quiet atmosphere of the entrance and lobby. He did not see Voni anywhere until he entered the platform. There were no trains or passengers there. No. gabe. There was one passenger sitting in the platform seat. The passenger is down. His head was covered in a red hat behind the black hoodie he was wearing. Theo walked quickly to get to him.
"Voni?"
The man raised his head. Sure enough, the person Theo saw was indeed Voni. But his appearance was quite contrasting when compared to the last time they met at the Hospital. His face was more thin and pale. Dark circles appear thicker framing both eyes that always look too wide open as if facing terror. Voni looks very messy.
"Theo.." His name sounded like a whisper when spoken by Voni.
"What happened to you?" Theo touched both of Voni's shoulders. His body trembled under his touch.
Voni stuttered. "They're looking for me." Words begin.
"Who's looking for you? What was? Tell me slowly!" Theo tries to calm the increasingly panicked Voni.
"Sample it. They took it."
"Who?"
Voni shook his head. "I don't know who they are."
Theo's eyebrows fused together. Actually, he felt very frustrated to see the condition of this voni. He wanted to shake the woman's body to make her talk.
"You're right. That thing is not from the earth. We finished researching it and then gave the results to the Ministry of Defense as you suggested. Tomorrow, our laboratory will have many men of large stature and black clothes. They're kidnapping everybody." Voni sobbing. It was hard for him to continue his story. "Doctor Jerome...."
"What happened to her?"
"He's dead."
"What?"
"They killed him when they searched our lab. They took all the samples and the researchers involved in them. Jerome's doctor's body was also taken."
"How did you survive? You called the police, right?"
Voni shook his head. "I was in the morgue at the time. When they left, I hid. I tried calling the police, but they didn't come. No one's coming. There are no witnesses. Everything suddenly disappeared. The hospital did nothing, they even acted as if nothing had happened. I. I ran away from them. They came to my house, rummaging through the contents. They also came to my parents' house." Voni covered his mouth with both hands. Both of his eyes widened in horror. "They're looking for me, Theo. Help me. please." Cry broke.
"What can I do for you?" Ask Theo at last.
"I have to go. I had to escape from their pursuit. I need money."
"For what?"
"They tracked me through financial transactions. Credit cards or ATMs are not safe. I need money to get out of town. I gotta get out of this town, Theo."
"How about that creature?"
"I don't know. Samples and research results have been received by the Ministry of Defense."
"Do you think they did it? Who else did you tell besides the Ministry of Defense?"
"I'm just talking about the alien with my colleagues in the lab."
Theo's brain is spinning, trying to associate Voni's story with the most plausible possibilities. It takes time to think about it. But first, save Voni first.
"I found a hotel for you, how about it?"
Voni could not refuse. He's been wandering the streets for three days. His body needs rest. At that impulse, Voni finally complied as Theo led him out of the station.

Theo booked a room at one of his family's hotels. Once inside the suite he used to stay in while staying, Theo suddenly changed his mind. He felt that bringing Voni here was a very bad idea if everything that Voni told him at the station was true. They lost a sample of the alien. They don't know who the thief is. But if the hospital acts as if nothing happened, and the police do not come when Voni asks for help, then the sample thief has a considerable influence.
Voni still didn't seem relaxed when Theo brought him here. Both forensics doctors eyes are constantly giddy. Occasionally he checked the surroundings even though nothing looked suspicious.
"Are you hungry? I'll order hotel service for you." Voni restrains the tip of Theo's jacket, preventing him from leaving.
"There's foreign DNA found under the corpse's fingernails." Whisperer Voni. Theo sat next to him. "Similar to belonging to an alien creature that you find in the sea. They come from the same species. That thing isn't just one, Theo."
Theo looked at Voni fixedly. "Are you sure?"
Voni did not answer. He pulled out a clear map from his jacket. The map was already tangled, while the paper inside was even more tangled. The paper he gave Theo to read.
"That's the autopsy I did on my own. I haven't given it to Detective Rudi. 'They' don't know either because I didn't tell anyone."
"It's..." Theo was at a loss for words. He never thought that the body found in Billie's stomach had anything to do with an alien creature he found in the sea. What about Selena? They have the same earrings. Does Selena have anything to do with this?
Question after question kept spinning in Theo's head.
"If 'they' get this too, you and I will disappear. They'll do anything to get rid of us both." Connect Voni.
"But who are they?!" Theo squeezed the paper he was holding. "Who should we ask for help?" Ask more of yourself.
"I think they're a secret organization working for somebody." Voni picked up a paper and a pencil from the bedside nightstand. He drew a sign that was two squares intertwined, then showed it to Theo. "They've got this picture on the collar of their shirt. It's sheltered enough that no one will notice it in one look."
"Have you seen it anywhere else?" Ask Theo.
The question was answered by a head. Voni was almost fainted at any moment. Theo doesn't have any heart for him.
"You're safe here. Rest up!"
"Where are you going?"
"I have to go make sure of something first."
"What if they find me here?" Voni looked riled up again.
"This place is safe. Anyone can't just walk in. Trust me!" His words just now sounded ridiculous even in Theo's own ears for describing him as if he was promoting the safety of his family's hotel. "You can rest as long as I'm gone." Theo.
