SONG IN MY LIFE

SONG IN MY LIFE
Uneasily

Arnold arrived home when the clock was 1 in the morning. He waited until Rachel could sleep just leaving the mansion. Actually the waiter has prepared a room for Arnold. Arnold chose to go home. He misses his wife very much. Even though Rio already said what caused Fairy to be in the hospital, but he also wanted to listen directly from his wife.

When the door of the room is opened. The atmosphere looks dim. Arnold knew Fairy must have gone to bed. He changed his clothes and joined his wife on the bed. His hands were curled around Fairy's waist.

"Darling, are you asleep?" Arnold asked as he slipped his hands behind Fairy's pajama shirt and stroked his wife's stomach. Fairy did not respond. He looked calm in his sleep there was even a smooth snoring.

"Sleep my little fairy. We'll talk tomorrow." Said Arnold. He was also tired and very sleepy. He has to prepare his energy for the funeral tomorrow afternoon.

************

Early in the morning, Fairy woke up. He raised Arnold's hand that was coiled up on his stomach and descended slowly from the top of the bed. He fell asleep last night because his body was tired. Is it because of the pregnancy effect?

Upon entering the bathroom, Fairy immediately closed the door behind her. She then took a pregnancy test that she had hidden in one of the drawers.

Fairy held a back test. When he saw the results, the woman's head hurt again. There are two lines there. Then the results are the same as the tests he did last night.

Fairy was sitting limp on the edge of the bathtub. His heart felt as though it were strongly accepting this reality.

Oh my God, how is this? I'm only 19. I am facing the preparation of my final task. I'm not ready to get pregnant. I haven't been able to deal with this situation? What if my grandmother heard it? I can imagine her disappointed face.

Fairy's tears fell. He really can't face all this. He also could not imagine what reaction Arnold would give him. Arnold must be disappointed. Arnold is not ready either.

"Darling....!" The call behind the door and the sound of the door being forcefully opened from outside shocked Fairy. He realized that he was crying out loud without realizing that his crying voice could be heard by Arnold.

"Darling, why is the door in the lock?" Arnold knocked on the door with a worried-sounding voice.

Fairy hurriedly hid the pregnancy test, wiped away her tears and immediately opened the door.

"What's wrong? I heard you crying. Something happened to you?" Arnold immediately flocked Fairy with various questions.

"No." Fairy stepped past Arnold then sat on the sofa. Arnold followed and sat down beside his wife.

"Don't lie to me. What's up?" Arnold asked as he touched Fairy's cheek.

Should I say it while Arnold was grieving after his aunt's death? Should I wait until her aunt is buried?

"My baby.., what's wrong? Is everything all right?" Arnold's soft voice made Fairy unable to hold back her tears anymore.

Arnold took Fairy into his arms. "Baby, tell me what's your problem."

"Anna's grandmother is sick. And I can't go home to see him." Ah, Fairy's heart hurts. She could not say anything about her pregnancy. I'm sorry, grandma.

Arnold's hand caressed Fairy's hair lovingly. She knew Fairy loved her grandmother very much.

"Who said you can't go home to see him? You can go home on my private plane. I'll make sure you arrive safely. I can't drive you because I have to accompany my family."

In Arnold Fairy's arms shook her head. "I still can't. In two days I will have my initial exam on my final assignment. My job is also very much in the office because of the project I just handled."

Arnold let go of his embrace. He looked at Fairy while wiping away her tears. "Darling, can I be a little selfish asking you to stop working? Concentrate on your final task. Once you're done we'll go to your grandmother and explain our relationship."

"Ar, I want to continue S2."

"What?"

"Ar, before we got married I told you about my wishes and expectations. You said you would support me. I know being your wife in material terms I will lack nothing. But I also have a dream that I have." Fairy said slowly but with great emphasis.

Arnold took a deep breath. He knows all the dreams of Fairy. The curiosity to have made him ignore all that. Arnold only realized that Fairy was not a home girl who would accompany him wherever he would go. Fairy had a dream that had nothing to do with Arnold.

The two couples were silent to each other. They are busy with their own thoughts.

"My mother will be buried today. At 3pm. I wish you'd be there. You're my wife." Said Arnold. It stands. "If there is a chance to go home. Meet grandma. My plane is always ready for you. I'm gonna take a shower and go to Thomson's house."

Fairy looked at Arnold who stepped towards the bathroom. His chest was very tight and suddenly he felt dizzy and nauseous.

*********

Arnold left home without breakfast. He only gave a kiss on Fairy's forehead and immediately passed by with his car.

After Arnold leaves, Fairy takes a shower and calls Cassie to accompany him to where Doroty is. But Cassie has a test so she can't accompany Fairy.

Fairy did want to see Doroty to find out the state of her son and was also very curious about what the woman said. He knew he had plenty of time before the funeral. He decided to go alone in the car unaccompanied by Rio because Rio would definitely report to Arnold what he was doing.

When Fairy's car entered the circus area, the atmosphere was still quiet because it was still 10 a.m. Fairy saw the red tent and coincidentally Doroty was already standing in front of her tent.

"How's your daughter?" Fairy asked averted her fear.

"My daughter has improved. He was in his grandfather's tent to undergo the treatment of our family potion. Comeon in!"

Rather hesitantly Fairy stepped inside the red tent. Inside was a table with two chairs facing each other between the tables. The lighting was bright enough to make Fairy a little calm.

"Sit my son. You really have been interested in me since you first saw me."

Fairy sat down in front of Doroty.

"Give me your right hand." Doroty.

Fairy stretched out her right hand. Doroty received Fairy's hand both hands. Hugged the tiny hand between her hands. "Close your eyes, let me inside you. Just point your mind at me. Don't fear!"

Fairy took a deep breath and closed her eyes. He was trying to do what Doroty told him to do.

A little while Doroty held Fairy's hand then she let go and made Fairy open her eyes.

"Ah, what a pity...." Doroty shook his head with a sad face.

"What's wrong?"

"Why doesn't the shadow of death leave you? You are so beautiful and wonderful. You have big dreams."

Fairy's chest was beating very fast. "Am I going to die?"

"I don't know, honey. I can't even see whose death it is. The road ahead of you is very dark. But I can see that a baby boy is growing in your belly."

"Male?"

"Yes. And your decision to keep or release this baby will determine your way forward."

"What should I do?"

"I can't say it because it won't change everything destiny has set for you. Your grandmother was the key to opening the black gate I could not break. Better be honest with your husband."

Fairy left Doroty's tent with her increasingly troubled mind. Was it a mistake he came to Doroty's place. Shouldn't he decide for himself?

Fairy's hand gripped the steering wheel of her car very firmly. He stopped on the side of the road with a deepening cry. Honestly, he was so confused. Should she regret her marriage to Arnold which has caused her to become pregnant at this time? But the marriage they had was so beautiful. Fairy felt Arnold's love and attention so great on her. It should not be her marriage that she should regret but her recklessness that deliberately forgot the date of her contraceptive injection.

The sound of her phone made Fairy wipe away her tears. There's a videocall call from Arnold. Fairy wiped her tears and accepted the call after putting on her sunglasses.

"Darling, where are you? I called Rio and he said that you had a hard time going alone." Arnold's soft voice seemed to state that their little quarrel had been resolved this morning.

Fairy smile. "Eh, I visited the kid I hit yesterday."

"He's okay?"

"Yes. But I still feel worried."

"You crying again?"

Fairy shook her head.

"Your nose is red, baby. And just this time you got my call with sunglasses on. Come quickly here. After my aunt's funeral, we'll talk about the important things you've hidden from me."

Fairy became tense. Does Arnold know?

"Do you know?"

"I'm actually just guessing. But I know now that you're hiding it. We'll talk after the funeral."

"All right."

Fairy put her phone back in her bag. His hand held onto his stomach with an increasingly agitated feeling. I have to how???
