Song in My Life 2 (episode 8)

Anna's grandmother looked at the two pairs of young people with a serious face. Her wrinkled face looked a little tense looking at Keegan who seemed to be tightly linking her fingers with the shoulder-haired girl Anna's grandmother knew as Zelina.

"What's this?" Anna's grandmother asked as she looked at them with a less-than-liked face.

"Sofia and I wanted to end our relationship. I don't love Sofia and Sofia doesn't love me. We have people we love." Keegan. Zelina who was beside him lowered her head with a somewhat trembling hand.

"Yes. I love Asley." Sofia said confidently. Mom and Dad were surprised. Asley is a former bodyguard of their family who quit nearly 2 years ago.

"Sofia, do you realize what you're saying?" Ask mama Sofia.

"I'm sober, ma. Actually, Asley and I were dating before my match with Keegan happened. I accepted the match because I thought Keegan didn't have a boyfriend. Keegan has loved Zelina since she was a child. Should Keegan and I get married but not happy?" Sofia asked as she looked at everything in the room.

"I know who you are, Asley. You already know what consequences you'll receive if you force your will to have Sofia's daughter." Grandma Anna said.

"I knew. I'm ready to be discharged from the military as long as I can be with Sofia." Alsey said without releasing her hand grip from Sofia.

"If you don't have a job, how can you please Sofia's daughter, who from birth is used to living in luxury?" Asked Anna's grandmother with a slightly condescending look.

Asley took a deep breath. He saw Sofia who was also staring at him. "I will try with my own hands to make Sofia happy. I have expertise in other fields and a little savings. I'm sure I'll be able to give Sofia a decent life."

Anna's grandmother held back a smile hearing Asley's confession. He looked at Sofia. "If Asley turns out to be unable to give you material abundance, are you able to live simply?"

Sofia smiled. "I'm sure that treasure will never bring true happiness."

Mama Sofia laughed at her son's confession. "Love is blinding. Sofia, are you going to relinquish all your social standing and status for the sake of that army soldier?"

"Ma, should I marry Keegan on the thing Keegan's heart is there for someone else?"

Grandma Anna looked at Fairy. "What's your response to Keegan's decision?"

Fairy smile. "I support her, the queen's mother. My son deserves to be happy with the woman he loves."

"I support him too. Keegan deserves to be happy with whoever she loves. I've investigated Zelina's family background. His father Daniel Alexander was a descendant of Manado's nobility." Said Arnold. He already knew if Zelina came back then all of this must have happened. Hence Arnold asked someone to investigate Zelina's family background.

Grandma Anna looked at Sofia. "And you Sofia, if Asley is not of noble descent then you cannot be together. Unless you want to give up your title as a princess."

"I'm ready!" Sofia replied quickly.

"Darling.....!" Asley looked at Sofia with a disapproving look. Should Sofia sacrifice everything?

Sofia's hand clasped Asley's. "I don't need any titles to be with you. I just need one status, which is to be your wife. I was born with all the luxuries of being a noble princess. Even if I have to be a commoner now, it's not a problem for me."

"Thank you dear, for all your sacrifices. I promise I'll do anything to make you happy."

Mama and Papa Sofia seem to still disagree.

"alright. I agree that if you really want to marry Zelina with the record, Zelina must give birth to a male great-grandchild for me so that I can die peacefully knowing that this kingdom has a successor. And as for Sofia, temporarily your title as my daughter was revoked. You can marry Sofia. But if it turns out that Sofia wasn't happy when she married you then she'd go back to the kingdom and you'd be fired as a military officer."Anna's grandmother immediately left the meeting room.

Mom and dad Sofia left immediately. They look very disappointed with Sofia. While Fairy was directly approaching Zelina. He lovingly hugged the girl.

"Thank you for being with Keegan. I will persuade Anna's grandmother to accept you as the daughter-in-law of this family with joy." Said Fairy.

"Thank you aunt."

Fairy wiped away Zelina's tears. "Don't be sad, son. My husband and I welcome you with pleasure." Fairy then looked at Sofia and Asley. "Sofia, you'd better get married. I'll help with everything you need for your wedding."

"Honey, let's get married this week. I can't wait to be your wife."

Everyone in the room smiled. Love has found its way. Now the four of them are ready to achieve their dreams with their respective partners.

Keegan opens the door. Right now they're in Arnold's mansion. This mansion has become Keegan's. He had already renovated some of his parts according to his own wishes.

Keegan's eyes swept through the room, but she did not find her lover. His eyes stared at the open balcony door. He knows where his girl is now.

Zelina Aedang stood her back to the balcony door. His hand held the iron barrier of the balcony while staring at the garden in front of him.

"Darling, what are you doing here. The air's cold." Keegan hugged Zelina from behind. He placed his chin on his girl's shoulder while inhaling Zelina's fragrant body.

"I'm confused, Kee."

Keegan lets go of her embrace and turns Zelina's body upside down. "Bungus because of what, baby?"

"Anna's grandmother lets us get married as long as I have to give her a great-grandchild. You know that my body has problems. I can't be pregnant."

Keegan stroked Zelina's cheek with the back of her hand. He then cupped Zelina's cheek while looking at the girl closely.

"I know children are a gift from God. If indeed we cannot get a child who becomes our flesh and blood, we can adopt a child. There are a lot of kids out there who need our love." Keegan said softly .

"But Kee, Anna's grandmother will definitely keep asking. The successor to the royal throne must be the original descendant."

Keegan smiled. "Don't worry, Zel. The world is getting more sophisticated. We will consult with all the expert doctors to find a way how to get a child. Now, let's think about our happy day. After Sofia and Asley get married, we're going to Manado. I'll propose to you officially. I also don't want to postpone our marriage for too long. I want to make you my wife soon. Mom and Dad agreed too. They'll take me to Indonesia."

Zelina felt overwhelmed. He did not expect that happiness would come after suffering all this time.

"Then I go back to Indonesia first."

Keegan shakes. "No. We'll go home together. I don't want to be separated from you anymore." Keegan then wrapped her hands around Zelina's waist, pulled the girl's body closer to her, then lowered her head and put their lips together in a long kiss that expressed each other's love.

The wedding of Asley and Sofia was carried out simply with a military nuance. Both of Sofia's parents finally come to their son's wedding.

"Asley is a good man, I'm sure he'll make Sofia happy." Keegan. Zelina who sat beside him smiled.

"Yes. They look happy too."

"It's soon our turn, baby." whispered Keegan made Zelina's cheeks turn red.

"I can't wait for him, Kee." Zelina said making Keegan happy to hear it.

"I'm just as impatient with you."

Zelina looked at the man beside her with a trembling heart. She has been heartbroken because Caleb loves Grace more than she does. In a state of wounded heart, Keegan's presence greatly comforted her. Zelina never thought she would fall in love again.
