S2 - What Should Carry It?

The road to the apartment that night passed by Edgar and Lara in silence. Edgar focused only on his steering wheel while the sleepy Lara chose to close both of her eyelids.

"Tonight was exactly one day that I knew her, and tonight her status has changed to that of my wife." Edgar breathed in frustration. Fortunately, before his mother found Lara he had made a letter of agreement with Lara so Edgar did not have to worry if Lara would do anything outside their agreement.

Edgar who was bored waiting for his car to go through the traffic jam turned to look at Lara's face at a glance. Her tongue was clucking softly looking at Lara who was already asleep with a slight snoring. "It's just so bad he could sleep while I was dizzy with our sudden wedding. Does her life feel okay after marrying me?

"Wait a minute" Edgar suddenly thought of something. "Mama told you earlier that Lara doesn't have any family anymore? What does he mean in this town. If that's true, it's appropriate that he didn't ask me to return him to his family." Edgar's Comments.

Edgar returned to his car with many questions lodged in his mind at this time.

Without feeling Edgar's car finally arrived at the apartment. Seeing Lara still asleep made Edgar sigh violently. "I don't want to carry it. He could be stubborn." Edgar Mumbled.

"Wake up!" Edgar shook Lara's body to wake her up.

Lara who was too tired and sound in her sleep did not say. He seemed undisturbed by the movements Edgar made.

"Why did he sleep like a dead man!" Grouse Edgar. For the umpteenth time Edgar again tried to wake Lara. But the woman did not wake up either.

Pounding, Edgar finally had no other choice. "From me waiting for him to wake up until next year, I better just carry him. Don't assume I'm a romantic husband in general, I just don't want to wait for him to wake up until next year. Besides, I can't leave it in the car by myself, can I?"

Some of the people in the elevator were now staring in amazement at Edgar holding a sleeping Lara.

"It's romantic this young man, Pah." Said a middle-aged woman to her husband.

The husband seemed to confirm it. "Just be young. The power is still strong. If Papah's holding Mama, Papah's bones could break." Answer the middle-aged man.

Edgar only listened to the conversation of the couple with a smiling face and inwardly cursed Lara who was busy exploring the dreamland without caring for her who was holding back shame.

The elevator door opened on the floor of Edgar's apartment. The man just stepped out of the elevator into his apartment unit. Entering the apartment, Edgar immediately took Lara to his room and laid Lara's body on the bed.

"Just trouble!" Edgar grumbled at Lara who was just squirming without any intention of opening her eyes.

Edgar who realized he brought Lara into his room was silent for a while.

"Why did I bring her to my room? Is the room in the guest room?" edgar murmured. A moment later Edgar exhaled a rough breath in the air given Lara's current status. "He really should be here. It's my wife."
