S2 - Angry at Who?
Lara now focuses her eyes on a woman who seems sweet to Edgar after her husband finishes a presentation. The woman who works as a doctor seems to give a drink to Edgar while smiling sweetly.
"Is he a friend of Edgar's?" Lara spoke softly while staring at the figure of Edgar and the woman's doctor.
After sipping his drink, Edgar then continued the question and answer session. And this time the questioner turned out to be Celine. Lara's half-sister seemed to ask about what Edgar had actually explained. Although he had given an explanation before, Edgar still answered Celine's question.
Some women after Celine did the same. Lara guessed that her friends and Celine had no intention of asking but instead sought Edgar's attention.
Question and answer session closed. The host went back up on stage to close the presentation session and continue the health checking activities. The students who sat in the front row were asked to go up on stage first to do a health test. Some of the women including Celine had to swallow the disappointment because it turned out that the one who examined them was Doctor Ghina instead of Edgar.
Health checks continue. Lara who was sitting in the back seat finally got a turn. He stepped hesitantly onto the stage followed by Angga behind him. Seeing her female friends being examined by Doctor Ghina, Lara immediately stepped towards Doctor Ghina.
"Little girl, come here!" Edgar's voice sounded commanding.
Lara turned to the source of the voice where her husband was staring at her. Lara looked to the left and to the right. Make sure he's the one Edgar called.
"You're a little girl. Comeoverhere. You'll be checked with me." Tell Edgar.
Lara stepped doubtfully towards Edgar. Seeing Lara's current movements made Angga and some of his friends wonder why this time Edgar wanted to check on a woman while he was talking to Ghina's doctor and two other doctor friends.
"How dare you get close to that ugly guy when I'm around you, yeah!" Edgar stared bitterly at Lara, who he was checking.
"Huh?" Lara was flabbergasted to hear Edgar's words. I don't understand what Edgar's words mean at this time.
As Lara's examination was complete, Lara left Edgar's presence and stepped off the stage. Seeing the opportunity in plain sight where now Lara will pass in front of him, Celine also stretched out one foot forward to make Lara stumble and almost fall if only Angga did not hold her.
"Ups, sorry." Celine covered her mouth with her hands while putting on an innocent face.
"You!" Angga stared intently at Celine. He is not a stupid man who does not know if Celine deliberately did this to Lara.
"I'm fine, Angga. Let's go back to sitting." Take Lara not to prolong the problem.
Angga nodded then stepped while holding Lara's hand. Celine who saw him was furious because Lara was superior to him. Can be close to Angga and was examined directly by Edgar.
From the stage, Edgar could see all the events below well. He sees Celine who deliberately wants to prank Lara and Angga who are sweet to Lara. Either have to be mad at who Edgar is at the moment. What is clear is that his anger at Angga is more domineering because the man holds the hand of his wife and does not get rejected by Lara.
