S2 - New Servant
Lara was completely confused by Edgar's change in attitude this morning. Compared to Edgar's silence like this, Lara preferred Edgar who was angry with him.
"Did I do something wrong? Why is it that Mr. Edgar just keeps quiet and doesn't make breakfast for me." Lara muttered to herself as she stared at some of the red money that Edgar had given her to buy breakfast and lunch before the man left the apartment.
Amidst Lara's pacing thinking of Edgar's change in attitude this morning, Lara is struck by the sound of an apartment bell ringing.
"Who is here? Is Mr Edgar back?" Lara Mumbled. "But if the person on the outside is Mr Edgar, why would he push the bell? Mr. Edgar can just come in here."
Not wanting to second-guess herself, Lara immediately got up from her seat and stepped towards the apartment door.
"Mommy?" Lara's face turned surprised to see her in-laws figure now standing in front of the apartment with a middle-aged woman beside her.
"Lara, how are you, son?" Mama Leni asked after Lara had crucified her and the woman beside her.
"Lara's good news, Mah. How mommy?" Ask Lara.
"Good friend too."
"Let's go in first, Mah." Lara invites her in-laws to enter the apartment with Mama Leni's girlfriend.
After Mama Leni and Mama Leni sat on the sofa, Lara came to the kitchen to make a drink.
"What did I make you drink?" Lara Mumbled. He was a little anxious if the results of his drink will not be liked by Mama Leni.
Eventually Lara's choice fell on warm tea because she was quite good at making tea for her stepbrother and stepmother's guests first.
"Lara, the purpose of Mama came here is because Mama wanted to introduce Bi Surti as the new servant in this apartment to you." Mama Leni.
"What, the new waiter here?" Lara's face was confused.
"Yes, Lara. This morning Edgar called Mama to ask Mama to find a waiter to help clean the apartment." Answer Mama Leni.
It was getting more confusing that Lara heard it. Lara guessed that she was not so good at cleaning the apartment so Edgar asked a publisher to help clean the apartment.
"Oh yes, Lara. In addition to introducing Bi Surti to you, Mama also wants to tell if Mama intends to enroll you in one of the universities in this city."
"What, Mama wants to enroll Lara in college?" Lara's Birthday.
Mama Leni nodded her head. "You think you're very young and you still need an education. So if you don't mind, Mama's gonna sign you up for college as soon as possible."
A smile as bright as the morning sun appeared to rise on Lara's face. Previously he really wanted to be able to go to college like Celine his step sister. But of course his wish was not achieved because his stepmother did not want to give him up and asked him to be a maid in his own home.
"Lara wants to, Mah. But did Mr. Edgar allow Lara to go to college," asked Lara considering she had to get Edgar's approval first.
"For that you calm down. Mama's sure Edgar would've allowed it." Mama Leni said as she looked at the smile on her face.
