Ch 102's. Death Desert
Two days later Zhang En set off towards the Myriad G.o.d City alone. He left Jiang Tianhua, Chen Xiaotian, and Su Meimei to defend Death City during his departure.
A flashing figure was seen flying in the air darting at high speed. That figure was Zhang En who was traveling towards Myriad G.o.d City.
Zhang En scanned the desert seen below and then took a map from behind his sleeves.
“This area should be the Desert Land of Death.” Zhang En studied the map, talking to himself.
This entire Domain Map of the Land of Death was something that Zhang En had asked to prepare by Jiang Tianhua and although it was not very detailed, it marked most of the important locations. Among them was the Desert Land of Death.
The Land of the Death Desert was one of the foreign places that existed in the domain of the Land of Unity. According to legend, tens of thousands of years ago, there was a large city in this land, but two experts of the God Hermits fought each other here, causing the city to suffer destruction. In the last hundred thousand years, not a single grass leaf could grow here.
Putting back the map behind his sleeve, Zhang En looked at the increasingly dark sky and then landed on a small hill. It was already late, so he decided to stay here for the night before continuing on his journey tomorrow.
Just as he was recovering his strength, a piercing wind sound reached Zhang En's ears. He then turned around to look at the surroundings, he saw two figures flying towards him at high speed.
When the two people were close enough to where Zhang En was resting, he saw that they were clearly and surprised. The two beams consisted of a man and a woman, if Zhang En remembered correctly, the woman was a disciple of the Shadow Ghost Sect.
Zhang En had met the woman once when he first arrived at the City of Death. At that moment, Heavenly Witch Sect Elder Deng Guangliang told him that this woman was most likely a disciple of the Shadow Ghost Sect's Patriarch.
"Second Senior Apprentice Brother, there's someone there." The man could be heard saying to the woman, with his finger pointing towards Zhang En.
Even though the night was already dark with the blood-colored fog blurring the vision, Zhang En who had already lit the bonfire, made his location clearly visible.
The woman looked towards Zhang En, but it seemed that her eyesight was slightly worse than Zhang En, as it was unable to discern the surroundings clearly. After hesitating for a while, he said, "Let's go and have a look." and flew straight towards where Zhang En was.
Less than a hundred meters away from Zhang En, the woman finally saw her face clearly, and showed a surprised expression, "He?" Apparently, the woman also remembered Zhang En, even though she had only seen him once.
“Second Senior Internship, you know this guy?” The man asked, puzzled by her reaction.
The woman nodded her head, explaining, "A few months ago, I saw this person in Death City, he was together with the Elders of the Sky Mage Sect, Deng Guangliang and Du Xin."
At that very instant, the two landed not too far in front of Zhang En.
Elder Deng Guangliang turned out to be right when he said this woman was most likely a disciple of the Shadow Ghost Sect Patriarch, not only that, she was the disciple that the Patriarch loved the most. His name is Lifei.
The moment Zhou Cheng heard about the Heavenly Witch Sect Elders Deng Guangliang and Du Xin, killing intent gleamed in his eyes. Two years ago, the ring and index fingers on his left hand were broken by Deng Guangliang and Du Xin.

Lifei did not expect Zhou Cheng to attack Zhang En so suddenly, his mouth opened wanting to stop his brother, but it was too late, he could only see Zhou Cheng's sword light engulf Zhang En's body.
Lifei sighed and shook his head as he looked at what was happening before his eyes.
