Swordsman the Wanderer

Swordsman the Wanderer
Ch 73's. Beautiful Woman

With Du Xin and Deng Guangliang following behind him, no one dared to look for trouble with Zhang En, if the two of them were not around, there would be many people coming to greet Zhang En on the streets.

Along the way, from Zhang En's observation, the majority of the inhabitants of this Death City emitted a powerful killing aura and a thick scent of blood. Of course, most of them had quite high cultivation. Even the little children running around the streets exuded a mischievous and evil temperament.

Undoubtedly, those who managed to survive in this region were not something easy. In the City of Death, you can't be nice to anyone.

“I beg you, don't kill me!” As Zhang En continued to walk leisurely watching the surroundings, in front of the same path, something was happening. Zhang En saw the sight of a muscular man kneeling and crying out for mercy in the presence of a woman.

This woman turned her back on Zhang En, therefore she was unable to Zhang En and to the two middle-aged men who were following her. The woman has a tall and slender posture with protruding curves visible from the clothes she wears.

While the muscular man was kneeling begging for mercy, the woman slowly unsheathed her long sword from the sheath hanging on her waist. The blade reflects sunlight, reflecting a cold emerald blue light.

Seeing the woman's actions, fear took a gnawing at the muscular man, banging his head into the street violently as he continued to beg, "Don't kill me, I know my mistake, I won't dare anymore!"

Just as the man's sentence ended, the woman's wrist spun, the long sword in her hand made a dazzling arch and the brawny man's cry of supplication stopped forever. A finger lifted in half to point at the woman, but the man's body swayed to the side, shortly after it fell into the street and blood spurted from the man's throat, drenching the edge of the road.

The other hikers had gathered and just looked from a distance, they were watching like they were watching a show, there were many sounds of conversation and laughter as if this incident was common to them.

After killing the muscular man, the woman did not even glance at his corpse, she turned around and left without a word. When he turned around, Zhang En caught a glimpse of the woman's face and looked extremely beautiful but carried it as cold as ice.

As the woman left, her eyes saw Zhang En's face. There was a momentary shock when he saw Du Xin and Deng Guangliang right behind him, but it was only an instant when he passed by Zhang En.

Zhang En's heart trembled, this woman was not as simple as he saw, her strength was quite high almost equaling that of the two men behind her.

"The woman may be someone from the Shadow Ghost Sect." After the woman was nowhere to be seen again, Du Xin stepped closer to Zhang En and explained.

"Shadow Ghost Sect?" zhang En asked curiously.

“Yes, Young Master. The strength of the Shadow Ghost Sect in Death City is no weaker than our Sky Mage Sect. To be honest, they are a little stronger than us" Deng Guangliang added, “The Shadow Ghost Sect Master is an expert of a Three Star God swordsman and that woman was previously a disciple of the Shadow Ghost Sect Master, he said, Gui Ying's. Their headquarters was located in the Forbidden Land City not far from the City of Death .”

Zhang En nodded his head hearing the explanation of the two people.

Forbidden Land City, after he took control of Death City, the cities around this City would be next

Immediately, Du Xin and Deng Guangliang brought Zhang En to their home.

Having a private home in the center of a City like Death City was a symbol of strength and power. In general, only Saint Swordsman Stage experts and God Swordsmen like Du Xin and Deng Guangliang, could have a private residence in the City of Death.

Entering the mansion, the servants and guards greeted Du Xin and Deng Guangliang respectfully as they moved towards the main hall.

In the main hall.

When all the servants and guards arrived, each one was shocked to see the person sitting in the main seat was a stranger to them, while Du Xin and Deng Guangliang stood on each side.

Since all of them had gathered, Du Xin briefly introduced Zhang En to the servants and guards. Of course, it was done by blurring the background details of Zhang En. They introduced the young man to be Young Master Zhang.

Although many were curious and doubtful at the same time about Zhang En, no one dared to ask and only obediently followed the man's orders.

Zhang En scanned the faces of the servants and guards and spoke slowly, answering their curiosity, “I know you all are curious about my identity, but I hope you all understand clearly there are things to know and what not to know. Anyone who dares to divulge about this outside of this main hall, discussing my identity, they will be killed on the spot! Do you guys understand?" Zhang En unleashed a powerful murderous aura from his body thus enveloping the entire main hall with tremendous pressure.

Being pressured by the terrifying murderous aura, all the servants and guards felt as if they were falling into a ravine, fear filling their eyes as they all swiftly kneeled down, each of them claimed they did not dare to whisper a word. At that moment, they realized, this young man was stronger than their master.

Watching all the servants and guards kneel down, Zhang En nodded in satisfaction. Letting them stand up, Zhang En waved his hands over "You can all leave, go back to work on each other's work."

Everyone answered in unison and hurried away leaving the main hall.

He was still not in control of the Sky Mage Sect, therefore he did not want to reveal his existence in the City of Death from the start which could attract the suspicions of Chen Xiaotian and Geng Ken. It's going to be a tough job. He believed that with his previous warning, there would be no information coming out among those servants and guards unless someone tortured them and dug up the information.

Of course Zhang En could use soul marking to control them, however, every time he used this method, it greatly depleted his spiritual power. And the excessive use of the method had side effects, which would be detrimental to his cultivation in the future. Hence, Zhang En would not exhaust his spiritual power in this manner.

"Young Master, what should we do next?" After everyone left the main hall, Deng Guangliang asked Zhang En.

Zhang En looked at the two of them, then replied "There's no need to rush, I'll tell you both what to do when the time comes."

Both of them answered "yes" respectfully.

A small light shone from Zhang En's hand as he took out two cultivation enhancement pills from his spatial ring. "Both are high-level pills." He flicked the two pills towards the palms of Du Xin and Deng Guangliang.

Instantly, a seductive scent wafted on Du Xin and Deng Guangliang's noses.

“Pil High grade Spirit!” Both of them were shocked to see the pill in their hands. Even in Death City, high-tier spirit pills were hard to come by. They had no idea that in fact Zhang En had many high-tier Pills awarding Emperor Zhu the prize when he won the imperial Tournament.

"Young Master, are you sure you gave this to us?" Du Xin was unsure and ventured to ask.

Zhang En then nodded, "Work well in the future, you'll get plenty of those pills." Even though Zhang En had marked the mark of their souls and forced them to have no other choice but to listen to his orders, Zhang En still had good intentions towards the two of them.

“Thank you very much, Young Master! We will definitely carry out all Young Master's orders, making our best efforts for Young Master until the day of our death!” Du Xin and Deng Guangliang knelt and kowtowed as they swore. The words spoken are honest and wholehearted.

Zhang En nodded and let them leave the hall. Zhang En was still thinking and devising a plan on how to take over their Sect.
