Ch. 490 - Departure to Xin World
Moments after the Buddha Crystal drilled into Zhang En's head, it then entered his sea of soul. Buddha energy surged out from him.
Pure and vast Buddhist energy flowed into every corner of Zhang En's body. For a moment, he had the illusion that his body had become the body of the Buddha.
The diagram formation of the Dragon Shield Technique within his body lit up and circulated on its own as well as absorbing crazily the extremely pure and vast Buddhist energy.

The Buddhist energy continued to integrate into every part of Zhang En's body, endlessly making his internal organs, meridians, physique, soul, all the way to his hair strands.
From afar, it looked as if Zhang En was enveloped in a ball of light, similar to the Great Buddha. That Buddhist energy continued to flow, filling the entire hall.
Master Kun watched Zhang En happily and surprised, "No wonder this child's cultivation is growing so fast, so this is the reason!"
It could not escape his attention when the formation diagram of the Dragon Shield Technique on Zhang En's body began to absorb Buddhist energy.
However, Long Xioba had hidden himself deeply, therefore neither his presence nor the Dragon Pearl on Zhang En's forehead were noticed by Master Kun.
Time pass.
With the help of Master Kun's divine power, the Buddhist energy and blood essence within the Chrysanthemum Buddha were absorbed by Zhang En at a frightening speed. At the same time, Zhang En's cultivation increased tremendously. Almost every day, there would be a significant increase in his strength and cultivation.
Even with the help of Master Kun, Zhang En was still unable to completely refine the Buddha Crystal. He had only managed to absorb a fifth of the energy from the God Crystal.
Two months passed.
Zhang En's progress in absorption became half of the Buddha Crystal.
After two months, even Master Kun was forced to stop. In reality, he did not expect Zhang En to fully absorb the crystal within a few months. It had already far exceeded his expectations that Zhang En could absorb the God Crystal energy by half with the help of his Divine power.
After stopping, Master Kun swallowed the pill and sat down to regulate his breathing.
A moment later, Zhang En opened his eyes. Finding that he had advanced to the realm of the Mid-stage One Star Ancestral God Realm, even he himself could not stop slapping his lips in astonishment.
He then checked his condition and noticed that the Buddha Crystal was smaller than its initial size, and was close to his heart. It continued to release Buddhist energy while the diagram formation within its body continued to absorb it, but at a much slower speed.
At this moment, Master Kun opened his eyes. Before Zhang En could speak, he had already shouted, “Son, you have already refined half of that Buddha Crystal, he said, yet you have only managed to advance from the One Star Ancestral God Realm early stage to the menenhag stage! What kind of weird monster are you? Such a huge Buddhist energy, where did it go fucking?!”
If it was someone else, after refining half of the Buddha Crystal, that person could definitely jump from the early stage to the late stage, perhaps even reaching the peak stage of the First Star Ancestral God Realm, he said, but Zhang En had only reached the intermediate stage.

Zhang En just said that casually, he knew that using space teleportation consumed a lot of god power.
Out of the hall, Zhang En went to tell his clan members that he was going to set out for Xin World with Master Kun to take part in the Alchemist Grandmaster Competition. But, Lie Hue wanted to go with Zhang En.
Master Kun then looked at Lie Hue, "Why? It seems like you are very reluctant to part with your lover even for a few months?"
A red tinge directly dyed Lie Hue's face.
"It's okay, you can come with us, getting some experience out there is very good for you" Master Kun said seriously.
Lie Hue felt more than happy after obtaining Master Kun's permission. In fact, he heard Zhang En mention that that that Liu Fang was also going to participate in that alchemist competition, therefore, his main purpose for joining was to ask Liu Fang about his Master's whereabouts.
Several years had passed, yet there was still no news of his Master.
However, Master Kun spoke again, “You are worried about your Master, right? Actually, your Master is fine, but due to some problems, he can't go back now.”
Zhang En and Lie Hue were shocked by the news. Master Kun actually had news of Master Lie Hue.
"Senior Kun, are you saying that my Master is fine?"
Master Kun then laughed and nodded, "Since when has this old man lied to his own son-in-law?"
These words easily made Lie Hue blush in embarrassment again, but after confirming that her Master was fine, the worry in her heart finally disappeared. Even though Master Kun had convinced him that his Master was fine, he still decided to follow Zhang En.
After which, the three then left the God Peak.

Xin's world wasn't built inside one of the four galaxies. Instead, it lies in between where the four galaxies intersect their paths.
From the teleportation gate of Spirit City, the three of them went through over forty times the teloportation gate before arriving at the surface of the world which belonged to the Star Galaxy region.
Of that world the closest to Xin World. Exiting the interworld teleportation gate and arriving at Xin World, the three of them headed for Xin World with flight paths.
Because Lie Hue was with them, their flying speed was much slower. Then, according to Master Kun, based on their current speed, they should be able to reach Xin World and arrive at Pill City within 25 more days as scheduled.
"Old man, since the headquarters of the Alchemist Association is in Pill City, and the Alchemist Grandmaster Competition is always held there, why is there no transportation gate from here that directly leads us there?" On the way, Zhang En asked a question. Logically speaking, it was impossible for the Alchemist Association to be unable to build a single World-wide teleportation gate with their wealth.
Master Kun rolled his eyeballs and replied, "You asked this old man, but to whom did I ask also to get the answer?"
“Are you not the only Platinum Ranked Alchemist from the association? How could you not know?” Zhang En obviously did not believe Master Kun's reply.
Master Kun was silent for a moment before speaking, "Actually, there was a teleportation gate inside the Pill City in the past, but sixty thousand years ago, the teleportation gate in the Pill City was destroyed!"
"Destroyed?!" Zhang En and Lie Hue exclaimed in astonishment.
Who would dare to destroy the teleportation gate of Pill City?
Even the strongest Sect Master of the four galaxies would not be reckless enough to destroy it. One had to know, the consequences of those actions were equivalent to actually offending the Alchemist Association.
