As Hong Bei said that, a mark appeared, lodged in his palm. On both sides of the sign are Buddhist sculptures, shining in a brilliant golden halo.
Zhang En approached the Life Token. He was surprised that Hong Bei would give him the Life Token easily just because he wanted to enter the Life Cave. The token was not something that just anyone could have.
Receiving the token, Zhang Rn thanked him sincerely, "Thank you, Senior Brother."
Moments later, Counselor Ding Mao led Zhang En out of the Blessed Buddha Monastery.
As Ding Mao led Zhang out of the Buddhist Monastery, he gave the young man his Advisory token. Ding Mao, as the Southern Star Kingdom's Advisor, held a high status that was respected, only under King Hong Bei and eight revered monks, including Elder Lau. Zhang En also did not refuse and accepted the Token.
Seeing that Zhang en was willing to accept the token of his gift, Ding bao's old face turned into a happy smile, telling Zhang En that if he encountered a problem that he could not handle, he would not, he could come looking for her.
Zhang En nodded with a thank you. Ding Mao left after that and left him. Zhang En headed straight for the Cave of Life and arrived at the entrance without requiring much time.
However, when he wanted to enter the Cave of Life, a powerful momentum surged from within, blocking Himself at the entrance. In the next instant, a silhouette appeared from within the Cave.
Knowing this person was the guardian of the Life Cave, Zhang En showed the Life Token even before the person opened his mouth to speak.
Looking at the Life Token in Zhang En's hands, the person was dazed for a moment before nodding towards Zhang En and disappearing from the place in an instant.
Zhang En breathed a sigh of relief then stepped forward into the Cave of Life, nothing else standing in his way. Passing through the entrance, Zhang En felt as if he had come to another world. In front of him, as far as the eye could see, there was only a statue of Buddha.
Looking ahead and continuing to step up, Zhanh En actually could not guess the number of Buddha statues even on every path of the Cave of Life.
Despite that, Zhang En walked steadily towards deeper into the cave.
A few hours later, he had to stop for another break to meditate, in order to calm down the energy within his body that had once again become chaotic.
Zhang En saw something strange. After meditating, his soul and spiritual power were actually more exhausted than before. Zhang En then stood up and continued to venture deeper into the cave.
One day passed. When he stopped to rest on top of the Buddha statue body, he felt dizzy, his breathing disordered. In fact, he was a little breathless. He rushed to meditate and swallowed the medicinal pill to recover his strength.
Ten days passed, rested and then continued the journey down the Cave of Life. In the past ten days, all his eyes could see was an endless sea of Buddha statues.
While Zhang En without the slightest surrender continued to travel deeper each day without stopping.in a vacuum at a certain place in the Cave of Life, the, Elder Lau and the other seven Elders observed Zhang En's movements.
“It has been ten days, I did not expect this child to last long inside, even going deeper into the cave"
“Last time when Fan Chen, the young man, went inside, how long did he stay? If I remember correctly, it should be fifteen days, I wonder if this kid can surpass that!
“He can completely purify the spiritual energy of Buddhism within the Cave of life!”
Some of them were talking at the same time.
A light flickered in Elder Lau's eyes as he quietly observed Zhang En's flying silhouette inside the Life Cave room.
“This child seems to be looking for something inside the Cave of Life?” One of the eight suddenly said.
"Searching for something?" Elder Lau pondered those words.
Ten more days passed in the same way.
Twenty days after Zhang En entered and continued flying past the many Buddha statues as he proceeded to the inside of the Cave of Life, Zhang En did not forget to practice the Buddha Palm Skirts that he had accidentally tried to train during the journey.
The eight kasaya-robed monks observed Zhang En who was practicing the Buddha's Palms while discussing.
“He might create his own style.” Elder Lau's eyes never took his eyes off Zhang En as he said those words in a voice that was difficult to articulate.
Even so, most of them still had a hard time believing what they saw.
Time passed, and without realizing it a month had passed. Zhang En had spent an entire month inside the Cave of Life.
In this one month, the Buddha statue was the only object that Zhang En had seen thus giving rise to the belief that other than the Buddha statue, there was nothing else inside the Cave of Life.
Zhang En's feeling returned excitedly looking at the green mountains ahead, speeding up his flying speed, he left the Buddha statue territory quickly and landed at the foot of the mountain hill. Outside the territory of the Buddha statue, a deep sense of relief swept over him as his feet touched the solid ground.
Taking a deep breath, Zhang En turned around and started walking towards the forest, soon reaching the peak. Entering his gaze was a long mountain range, meandering upwards, causing his brows to furrow. 'Don't tell me I need to spend another month crossing this mountainous region!" lamented Zhang En.
He made a firm decision to give it another ten days. If he still had not gained anything within these ten days, he would have left the Cave of Life.
Three days passed quickly as grains of sand seeped through one's fingers.
On this day, Zhang En stopped by the river at the foot of the hill. As he wanted to take a bath, a golden light flickered from the bottom of the river. Although it was only a split second, he caught a glimpse of it.
His actions stopped and he released his spiritual senses, directing them to the bottom of the river, but his spiritual senses encountered obstacles on the riverbank. After hesitating for a while, he jumped up, paving the path leading down and heading to the bottom of the river, Zhang En dived deeper down.
From the surface, the river did not look wide. Only after diving into the river did he realize that it was much deeper than he had thought.
As Zhang En leaped into the river, Elder Lau and the seven other old men who were watching suddenly realized that his aura was disappearing.
“Could this river be another space dimension?” One of them muttered.
Within the Cave of Life there are connections to many different dimensions of space. Although the eight of them were the Gua guards, no one knew how many of the other dimensions were within the Cave of Life.
The aura of the child had disappeared completely, no doubt this river was a different dimension of space. Other parents voiced their opinions.
"What should we do..?”
"Follow the rules, our mission is to guard the Cave of Life."
“Ya!”
On the other hand, at the bottom of the river, another bright light flickered and a black hole appeared. Before Zhang En could react, the massive suction force of the black hole wrapped around him and swallowed him.
His vision blurred and he suddenly stood on the ground.
"This is…?" In front of his eyes was a golden-coloured ocean, with waves gently sweeping across the golden sand beach. There was a small boat floating in the sea, with a hundred-year-old old man holding a fishing line.
In this place that seemed to be the center of the golden sea, there was a golden mountain. The surrounding environment is very quiet. Seeing this scene, Zhang En was astonished by the sight he saw.
"Young man, welcome to the Sea of Suffering." While Zhang En was late and still dumbfounded by the sudden changes in the surroundings, the old man on the ship spoke.
"Sea of Suffering!" Zhang En saw a huge expanse of golden sea.
