Chapter 23 - Club Night

Mira was still shocked by George's words. He no longer knew what to react to. Feelings of annoyance, anger, worry, fear and happiness raged in Mira's heart.

"Why are you doing this to me George ?" Mira asked as she desperately tried to hold back her cries.

George got up from his seat and approached Mira, kneeling before the woman.

"Dear forgive me! I realized it after we finished making love. Oh, I didn't do it intentionally. That's why I'm gonna take responsibility. You don't have to worry, honey. We're getting married." Persuade George in a soft voice.

"So if there's no children here, you won't marry me ?" Mira exclaimed so upset while holding her flat stomach.

"It sucks!"

"It's not like that, baby! I'll still marry you regardless of whether there's a baby here or not."

George took a deep breath, then continued his words while positioning himself to sit beside Mira.

"Do you know that you've stolen my heart ? You're a simple but classy meek girl. Although you like to scream but I believe you're a good girl."

Your job is not an easy job, especially if you do not study abroad. But look! You can go this far. What you have until now is all because of your patience and hard work. And you're a beautiful woman, baby. But you don't rely on your beauty for success. You're different from the people I know.

"I love beautiful, hard-working women!" George said with a seductive smile.

Mira looked in wonder at the man. "How is it possible just because that someone like you can like someone like me who's nobody."

I mean, in New York there are certainly a lot of women who are prettier, sexier, more educated and classier than me. They may be more worthy of you than I am.

"You're a handsome and wealthy man, I think there's a lot of women chasing after you, at least you've got a lover by now."

George shook his head slowly. "Thank God I don't have a lover so I'm free to have you." George said firmly.

Mira's red eyes narrowed. "really ? Can I trust you, George ?" Tanya Mira was curious.

"Sure! You even have to trust me."

Mira is still dying because of George's actions. There was no resistance or reply from the woman.

George then brought his face closer to Mira's and fused his lips with Mira's. George kissed Mira's lips gently, but the longer the kiss grew deeper and hotter. Mira who was originally just silent, for some reason now he returned George's kiss with no less wild. Mira's heart is fast approaching and the sensitive part of her body twitches making her want more.

They kissed for a long time until they were both out of breath. George immediately let go of their lips to take a breath. After that George looked into Mira's eyes intensely making Mira feel nervous.

"I assume you've agreed to marry me." George said happily.

"In two months we're getting married, so we have to get it ready from now on."

"What ??? Why so fast ?" Asked Mira with a gaping mouth.

"Should hurry, baby! I'm afraid you're gonna change your mind."

Mira gasps. Again the words of this man jolted his heart and mind.

"Where could that be George? What about my family ? And what about your family ? Are you sure they'll approve of our marriage ?"

"I'll arrange it! I can definitely convince my family to accept you, and I will also definitely convince your family to accept me." George said with conviction.

Oh my...This guy is amazing! Not only does he like to be organized and pushy, but he is also overconfident.

"We'll continue this conversation later. Now you rest. You need sleep so your mind and body are healthy." George said attentively.

"alright...I'll rest in the room. There's the bathroom and the kitchen. You can wear it. And if you still have other business, you can go right away. No need to say goodbye to me." Mira.

"Did you kick me out ?" Ask George.

"No! I mean, it's not like that. You're a businessman, so I'm sure you still have a lot of important business." Answer Mira.

"I'm not going anywhere! Right now I only have one important business, which is dealing with you, baby." Said George while holding both cheeks of Mira who had been flushed like a tomato.
