A third of the night, Chiharu returned to her routine activities. Walk towards the river, sit under the flowing springs and re-train the spiritual energy as suggested by Fu and Su. But tonight it feels different. Either because he had just received the old granny at his house, or because it was just a baseless feeling of uneasiness.
Chiharu felt that he was being observed by something, from the time he came out of the temple area until he did his routine. But the girl did not pay much attention and focus on her activities, after a long time there Chiharu stood up. The sign that he had finished his activities in the third of the night, he would return and get ready to clean the temple.
After arriving at the temple, Chiharu started taking the broom she used to use. Collect the leaves that fall to the ground, wipe the floor to make it shiny, then breakfast. And during that time, Chiharu really felt uncomfortable.
"It seems the figure keeps seeing you, Miss Chiharu." Su said with a tray in her hand. It seemed like not only Chiharu felt the awkwardness, the two maids of his god also felt that the figure continued to observe him.
Chiharu nodded, "i know," he whispered. "Let it go, then deliver food for her. As well as preparing provisions for the long journey, do not offend anything and let him choose to go or stay."
Then slowly the sun began to rise, the light was able to bring the temple brilliance with the rays reflected from the flowing water. Feeling warm and comfortable to live in, Chiharu smiled happy to feel the happy feeling of having managed to take care of the temple that almost collapsed and made it so sparkling.
And his smile disappeared when again interrupted by the old grandmother who stayed at his house, the woman opened the door of the room that was provided for him. "My sleep is very comfortable, I don't know how long I haven't felt it." My eyes are smiling with a peerless tenderness.
Chiharu set up the grandmother's words, "Thank God that you can enjoy a simple meal in our quilts" said the girl humbled.
The grandmother smiled again when she saw Fu and Su disguised as temple children who usually had no hair, and wore temple-typical clothes. "the children were like angels. Are those kids your sister?"
And the girl just nodded in approval to the old grandmother's words, as if she were following her game. Until finally the conclusion that Chiharu had been waiting for managed to get when the old woman said her last sentence, "i'm so tired, can I be here for a few days?"
Chiharu's smile grew wider, "Of course, you are an old woman. And a temple girl like me should accept with open arms, stay as long as you want."
After saying thank you, Chiharu returned to her activities. He must immediately clean up this demon, because his divine duty is waiting. Chiharu must give blessings, grant wishes and help people in distress. Things as a God duty that Master Qi never did, he also had to re-learn medicinal plants and train his spiritual energy.
Serving demons is not one of his priorities right now...

After two nights passed, Chiharu began to carry out her plan to eradicate the disturbing old granny's demon. Later he would install a seal so that demons could not enter the temple, Fu and Su also participated in the plan to exterminate these demons. It seemed that Chiharu slightly understood why this demon did not directly attack him, the answer was that there was only one demon that was so weak.
When the full moon shines softly, Chiharu along with Fu and Su gather in the backyard of the temple, enjoying the moonlight while pouring wine over each other. Chiharu laughed out loud, trying to attract attention he was sure despite not doing so. The old woman must have been looking at her from behind the room divider, Chiharu raised her cup high as if to show that she was drinking wine.
The two of them were actually hoping for anxiety when Chiharu revealed this plan, afraid that when Chiharu was alone the old woman managed to hurt him. However, they were both just servants. There was not much the servant could do, other than obey the will of his master.
Chiharu pretended to be asleep in her contest, she waited until the night got late and the full moon was now shining fuller. Delivering her warm rays as if tonight was not a scary thing, it felt funny when at this moment Chiharu first encountered an evil demon that would prey on her.
Sure enough Chiharu guessed, the door opened slowly. Afraid that it would make the slightest sound, the female's eyeballs glared red. Perhaps those eyeballs would come out of place, staring intently at Chiharu with drooling drool.
He giggled when he saw Chiharu slumbering, "the mission of the Gods will make me immortal, I will be full and become very strong kikikik." The nails of the woman creaked horribly, adding to the quiet atmosphere increasingly gripping.
"I'm sorry son, your life will be so short in this life."
With the old woman's slow movements approaching Chiharu, the nails seemed to have been sharpened so that the lightning reflected the face of the beautiful girl there who was sleeping. The white hair was getting ugly, as the demon showed itself. His long protruding tongue salivates which is disgusting.
When the nail almost pierced through Chiharu's smooth skin, the dark-black eyeball was opened. It glittered, as if he was waiting for this moment. He smiled grinningly, more like a demon than a god messenger. His free hand held a sword, swinging at the hand that was now stretched almost to Chiharu's face.
The old woman screamed in surprise, her sharp nails she used to jump backwards. Sticking on the wall and hissing as he sensed the danger surrounding the weak demon, next to his arm was thrown so far away shedding fresh blood. "I'm sorry, Grandma, I accidentally hurt you. You surprised me." The black net was gleaming, a sneer widening from Chiharu's pretty face.
The girl looked more like a demon than a messenger of Gods, she smiled when she saw the demon before her in pain. But alas, the temple had been sealed by Fu and Su so that any demon could not enter or exit. Then the long sword that Chiharu used he pulled from the sheath, was directed at the demon who was now panicking not overbearing because it was on the verge of death.
Then with a slit-filled and reckless movement, the demon moved forward. Trying to grab whatever Chiharu's body is, hoping to hurt her. The incident was so quick when Chiharu slashed his sword at the fast-moving demon, killing himself. A splash of blood hit Chiharu's face, and the demon so weak that it sprawled before then vanished was swallowed by Chiharu's spiritual energy.
"It's a pity, that what's soon to live is you." muttered Chiharu holding his sword, he shifted the door and could see the two servants serving him staring anxiously.
Fu and Su gave up their concentration to keep the seal, they approached Chiharu with a turbulent feeling of worry, "You're alright miss? a-you're bleeding." The two were horrified that the girl was injured.
With a light movement, Chiharu wiped the blood that stained her cheeks. Smiling lightly at the two servants before him, "I'm fine, this is not my blood. Thank you for worrying about me."
And that night they did not sleep at all and were busy installing seals, preventing evil auras from entering and other unwanted things of danger. It seems like tomorrow will be tiring as Chiharu begins to carry out his duties as a God, doing what Mr. Qi never did before.
