Temple Girl

Temple Girl
Chapter 19 Not Alone

The morning was really bright, the blue sky stretched wide without any end. The summer flowers begin to re-bloom, colorful spreading the blossoms. The wind slowly shook Chiharu's black mane, flying it as if welcoming joy.

The small animals chirping made the atmosphere of the morning warm, the white horse Chiharu neighed as elusan landed on its mane. Behind him with a bent face someone who had recently become his servant walked behind Chiharu, folding both of his arms arrogantly. Who else if not Gin, the grumpy demon.

"While it doesn't matter if you ride the horse with me, Shiro doesn't matter with one more weight." Chiharu opened the small talk that morning, melting the atmosphere that had been filled with silence.

Gin threw away his annoyed face, arrogance printed clearly from behind the soft waving white mane. "I can be twenty times faster than that horse, don't equate my strength with your weak strength."

Chiharu sighed, able to guess the flow of Gin's conversation that always boasted of her. "When you're also defeated by me." chuckled amusedly when answered the unfriendly trick by the creature.

A cynical look was cast by the man, if the gaze was able to kill someone then Gin was the most powerful in doing so. The sharp eyelids were able to make anyone shudder in horror and retreat, of course Chiharu was not included in those people.

As long as they walked, the villages of the remnants of the bloody tragedy still gave rise to scars. The villagers were busy doing their own activities, looking so crowded because they worked hard to improve the village. Chiharu glanced at Gin, the man just walked straight without looking around her. As if it was not him who did it, closing his eyes did not discuss the topic to the surface.

The girl gazed at the challenging sun at the end there, it seemed like the journey this time was indeed rather long when compared to Chiharu visiting the villages and towns that could be reached by a day trip. Now the girl will travel to the Capital City, where the Emperor lives a place Chiharu had never visited before.

The girl spurred on her horse, starting to chase time because she did not know how long this journey would take.

According to Gin the girl was the most impractical girl he had met for thousands of years, living so long Gin had certainly seen many things. Including the gods who are annoying, have the power of majesty and are very strong. Forget about impracticability, how can a God give a blessing on a horse.

The most annoying thing again, he could have lost to the girl on the night where he was looking for prey. "Hey! you hear me no?!" sahut Chiharu raised some of his tone.

The demon turned his head, looking at Chiharu with his usual gaze. Cynical and unpleasant, "We'll be there tomorrow morning if we hurry, tonight we stop first." the girl went down the big white horse there.

They stopped at the forest near the river that connects the border of the densely populated Capital Gate, the girl walked towards the unbinding river that was shedding her hair. Wash the face to make it fresher, then fatigue lifted from him. For two nights he had been riding, complaining that his butt was about to break. As for Gin, the creature did not look tired at all. Following a horse without being left behind, maybe if not waiting for Chiharu the man would have arrived first.

"A feeble God heh." sneered Gin leaning his body on one of the big shading trees. Smiling sucks, and manages to upset Chiharu.

The girl looked at Gin with a look of dislike, "What did you say?!" pekik Chiharu did not accept if he was said to be weak.

"My life for thousands of years searching for strength, it felt futile when I saw you. Aren't you a god? Why does my eyes not look like that huh, your existence is weak. Your strength is weak, and you are not like the immortal gods. You die so easily."

Those words were really stifling, both for Chiharu and his wounded inner self. No need to say his weakness, Chiharu himself knew very well. However, due to the fatigue that ripped his body Chiharu chose to retreat and did not serve the demon.

If you are so strong, just let go of the seal of God. Cibir Chiharu in her inner self.

"Try absorbing spiritual energy in many forms." said Gin at the other end, watching Chiharu's every move and not letting the girl calm down.

Chiharu sneered dislikes, gave a look after yourself and then returned to training as she pleased. "Can't you do it? Naturally, you are only an ordinary human, it cannot be as great as other Gods. Especially me."

Really, Chiharu wanted to stuff anything at that mouth. The man's white hair was extremely futile, due to his annoying behavior. Chiharu gave a rough sigh, she closed her eyelids. Concentrate fully and absorb the spiritual energy, indulging in the man's desire for the annoying mouth to fall silent.

"Keep in, until I say stop!" gin's word doesn't want to be disputed.

Until that night, Chiharu's body felt full. No no not not the strength he got, after a long time absorbing the spiritual energy of his body was piled up and down. He coughed hard until the liquid felt iron coming out of his mouth cavity, soiling the grass there. His cough did not subside for a while, then regretted himself for having obeyed the damn demon.

Gin approached the sprawled Chiharu, observing her a moment ago a confused face printed clearly. "It looks like the soul in you, not yours." said Gin showed the conclusion. Before Chiharu could answer, the demon continued his explanation. "It should be that when you absorb so much energy— your body will explode from resisting, but in your case it is not your body that is resisting but rather the energy within you."

"Damn you!" sahut Chiharu shows his anger, stupidly believing in creatures who really want his death. What if his body really exploded, what if Chiharu had really experienced death.

The creature chuckled softly, showing its sharp fangs. "You're like a doll stuffed with something." Chiharu was silent no longer saying anything.

Not replying to the demon taunts and moving away from Gin, sat close to the white Shiro— horse from the sky. Slipping without glancing again, in his heart was very painful. And the pain gets bigger when what Gin says is true, have you ever felt when someone says a painful fact about you and it hurts so much because it's true.

Early in the morning the next day Chiharu locked her mouth tightly, not wanting to make a sound. His gaze was straight as if a storm was crashing, that gaze would not be deflected. Gin, who had been feeling neglected all day long, was a little restless and uncomfortable in the recesses of his heart, a feeling that never stopped in the man's life. Makes him confused and feel clumsy.

Looks like the girl was more hurt than her shadow, "Didn't you eat something? Don't humans need a lot of nutrients?" let alone reply to Gin's words, the atmosphere in the morning was unusually cold not playing. Not only the morning air, Chiharu also took part in cooling the air that morning.

Until the suffocating silence was brought to the gates of the capital, Chiharu showed his plate to the guards there. No need to go through strict rules and take a long time when he was allowed to enter, unlike Gin. The man was asked to step in to avoid outside attacks and suspicious people, "I'm with the girl, sir." sahut Gin pointed at Chiharu who had walked a long way with his white horse.

The guards frowned, and one of them approached Chiharu. "Is that man really your acquaintance?" asked the man so politely.

The girl grinned mischievously, looking at Gin who was looking out for her. Saying with an implied view, that Chiharu should no longer vilify him. But wishful thinking was only limited when the girl said, "I don't know the man, you better be careful." and Gin growled furiously when Chiharu returned to walking.

"Actually, I forgot about it. That man is my acquaintance, rather he is my servant. Sorry I forgot something so important," Chiharu's grin grew wider as she grinned. "That man is MY PE-LA-YAN."

And just then Gin really wanted to stick his fingernails and fangs on Chiharu's neck, tear him down mercilessly and make the girl cry out in pain begging for mercy on the sidelines of his death. Attempts to kill must be planned, can not be done in a hurry. Just wait, man. Thought Gin with a wild mind impatient to immediately tear Chiharu apart.
