Temple Girl

Temple Girl
Chapter 20 Doing the unintelligible

After two long nights in the end the girl managed to reach her destination, the capital city was vast, densely populated, and the center of everything happened. The girl climbed up the stairs that towered up, towards her resting place to unwind.

The temple was deliberately built and given Mr. Zhi for her, but the girl indeed preferred to stay in the residence of Mr. Qi. So close to the bustling Capital City, yet not too far away and time consuming. Really a good place with a good strategy, crowded but not noisy.

The girl opened the door of the temple, dust immediately ambushed her face. He coughed himself, wagging his fingers to remove the dust. No wonder because the temple has been abandoned for months, Chiharu hopes that the temple will not suffer significant damage at all.

The first thing Chiharu did was of course take the cleaning equipment to start the battle, she would stay there for quite a while. Therefore, the place he occupies must be comfortable, safe, and peaceful. Then the exhausting day began, cleaning the floor, sweeping the lawn, then the heaviest plucking the weeds that had reached the ankles.

It feels tiring and Gin does not help Chiharu at all, until the sun begins to return to the contest even though the girl is still working. "When I wait for you to ask for my help." Gin stared at Chiharu's tiny back, moving around and finishing the piled up work.

The sound made Chiharu pause for a moment, just for a moment before he resumed. No matter if it will be finished tomorrow morning though, the girl will not be able to sleep well if you sleep with a dirty environment. Slightly whizzing as Gin laughed at his dirty self, he would no longer talk to the demon. Forever.

After Chiharu said her promise inwardly, her stomach felt like it was ringing so loud. Any creature seems to be able to hear his starving stomach, it's been two days that Chiharu hasn't eaten a heavy meal. Maybe because he can control spiritual energy until hunger does not bother him, but Chiharu is still a human.

He quickly sped up his work, finished it and entered the warm temple. His body felt so dirty and sticky, but his focus was immediately changed when smelling a fragrance that greatly spoiled the sense of smell. The meat broth made Chiharu's focus changeable, the broth seemed so thick, warm, and capable of making any stomach sound.

"Hungry heh?!" jeered Gin with his arrogant face, his right hand held a vegetable spoon. It seems to be used to stir the broth.

Chiharu looked at him sharply, "i regret being tempted by the cooking you made." ketus Chiharu, he violently passed Gin just like that. Slammed the door of the room, then hid behind it.

Seeing the attitude of Kasae Chiharu, inevitably the demon felt offended. His knuckles meumutih gripped the spoon, a noise was heard when now the object had become two parts— has become sad. It was time for Chiharu to stop the wordless game like this, Gin felt himself to have done nothing wrong. Why did the girl continue to overdo him.

Throwing the spoon down, the man's wrath kicked Chiharu's door open. The two different colors met, long they stared until Chiharu was the first to break the contact. Red hue spread to his ears, with a quick movement he tried to cover his exposed body.True, the Gin—man broke down the door when Chiharu was changing clothes.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU IDIOT!" chiharu's cry on that lonely night was blaring, enlivening the temple and bringing to life the gloomy atmosphere there.

"I told you I didn't know you were changing" Gin poured himself some broth.

Chiharu who was about to eat her food sniggered, intruding whatever the man's movements were. "I told you to shut up!" chiharu's decree was full of emotion in her tone. And the most domineering one is, the overwhelming embarrassment that ambushed Chiharu's mind.

The demon ate its food quietly, without being bothered by the events that had just happened to it. It was as if Chiharu's body did not interest him at all, in contrast to Chiharu whose entire face was almost red withstanding embarrassment. It was his carelessness that brought the girl to this situation, "Lu-forget whatever you just saw!"

Gin looked back at the girl in front of him, "it might sound brazen, but let me be honest." the man put the bowl of meat broth. Staring at Chiharu fixedly, and increasingly made her misbehave.

"First your body is very flat and does not have breasts like women in general. Just so you know, I really like women's breasts. Then the second, there is no need to judge yourself too highly because your face is mediocre." really Gin's words can always make Chiharu growl, angry, but because of hunger, the girl still called the meat broth that feels warm.

"Once again talk, this spoon will nest in your mouth." threatened Chiharu, put down her food utensils and then enter another complaint. Because the door of the room that Chiharu occupied before already had no door.

"Where is the purpose today?" sahut Gin hides the nails, fangs, and ears of a fox that is out of his hair. Make him look like a normal human being, don't ask who told Gin to look like that.

"The city is full of disease."

The question was clearly printed under the man's eyes, not understanding why Chiharu was about to head to the most unpleasant place that felt in the city. It seemed like the look was read by Chiharu, "You'll know my duty when you get to it."

The girl passed through dark, dirty, and seedy urban alleys. Worst place ever, sick people gathered there. Staring at Chiharu with a flat gaze, never wanting to know or find out. The girl took out the bread from behind the big bag she was carrying, it was white with various contents inside.

It only took a matter of minutes when Chiharu became the center of the crowd of people with a seedy look there, took the bread greedily and left without a word. Until finally the bread was finished, Chiharu approached one of the children there. Smiled gently and then rubbed his mane. "May I ask you something?" sahut Chiharu put on the face of an angel without sin.

The boy nodded and joined in with his smile, so wide that it did not fit in with life here. Chiharu did not have time to issue a question, a child hit her hard. And before the girl ran away, Chiharu pulled her wrist hard enough that the boy shouted.

He had enough experience when he was with Mr. Qi, so the same trick would not be able to fool him. "I'm sorry, I don't intend to commit a crime." the bag of money Chiharu carried slipped from the painful boy's hand.

"Why did you steal the money, son?" tanya Chiharu hasn't let go of her grip.

The boy began to cry in fear, kicking his legs to achieve freedom. "My mommy mom is sick, I have to get her some medicine. Please, let me go."

Chiharu thought for a moment, she let go of the boy pulling his clothes so as not to run away. "I will heal your mother, take me there." Frustrated by the circumstances, the boy nodded showing his house to two strangers whom he did not recognize at all.

Gin looked at the girl with a surprised look, not expecting that the girl—somehow—looked pretty cool in his view. Following in silence Chiharu's small steps, a little curious about what happened next.

Then the three of them came to the alley which was more indented, darker and seedy, and an unpleasant smell emanated from there. It was mixed with anything that was not worth staying in, even with the shelter of the boy who looked miserable. Dirty fabrics piled up, no doors there just covered with thin fabrics that have been torn.

The sound of a dry cough sounded so heartbreaking, that when Chiharu entered to check on the state of the boy's mother. He was a little surprised because it was not a suitable place for any creature to live in, the girl let out a rough sigh thinking of a way out so that at least the boy and the mother could live prosperously.

"Gin!" the first time Chiharu said his name, the demon felt thumping. The girl's voice, laden with vexation for some reason. "Bring these two men to the temple, I will take care of him." said Chiharu steadily.

Forced he had to postpone his question and was more concerned with saving the boy's mother, looking so dying and in desperate need of help. Gin said nothing, and obeyed Chiharu's wishes. Carrying the sickly woman, darted ahead of Chiharu to immediately take her to the temple.

"Come with me!" sahut Chiharu with a soft smile on his lips. Holding the little hands of the boy there, and taking him to Chiharu's resting place.
