From the first there is a thought that continues to revolve in the mind of the girl, why is she not allowed to be reborn alone compared to experiencing things that are difficult to accept by other creatures? That is not unnatural if a human has the ability of a God, a great celestial being. Untouched by any ugliness, being one of them–though himself was not sure that what creature he– still it was unnatural.
Chiharu felt floating, her body felt so light as if she could fly wherever she wanted. To be honest not bad, but the thought of not wearing just keeps haunting him. It feels strange because Chiharu is completely conscious but can't feel anything, different when he enters into a dream. Kite like this is not at all painful, instead he felt afraid if he was getting drowned and felt comfortable.
True too, he bled when he recklessly put in spiritual energy without knowing the dose for his body. If perhaps he was already completely dead and on the verge of the boundary between life and death, it was possible that his body had exploded just like Gin had said.
No son, you haven't reached death.
The voice pierced right in Chiharu's head, barging in until the girl felt dazed as her voice collided with the foreign voice from outside.
"Who?" grateful his voice can still come out, echoing until Chiharu again felt confused about where he is now.
The place was almost entirely blue, so bright and shining like a crystal. Like being trapped in a place that shimmered brightly, wondering and increasingly feeling strange when Chiharu did not feel uncomfortable at all. It's like being at home, feeling protected, and feeling safe.
It might seem strange if I said it, but I am the destiny.
"The Fate?"
Right, because you're special I can't turn my face against you.
The question re-emerged in his head, why was he chosen? it felt horrible when wasted, and it was funny at the same time that the girl was saved. But basically, things like this further distanced Chiharu from her identity. Makes the girl wonder, who am I really? Why should I?
Chiharu almost wanted to let out all her feelings, all this time the girl always felt that she was alone. Wasted and unwanted, it was just that a while ago he almost never thought about it again. Back in mind to make Chiharu reminisce about the times of solitude, both in the residence of Mr. Zhi and when he carried out his duties as a God.
"Then who am I?" the question rippled out from Chiharu's head, ejected from her mouth cavity and weakened her heart. Chiharu was not a God, and he was not a human.
A light laugh sounded so melodious, making the little girl's heart feel lifted. Is not the strand of destiny that brought you to this place, be your son's strong. Once you are a little stronger, ask whatever you want to ask.
Needless to say, the girl's goal from the beginning was to become stronger, she did not want to lose anything more. He does not want to be hurt any further, he does not want to be wasted again. "How–"
"How do you get strong?!"
I'll help you, now come back.
That voice sounded so soft, light, and soothing. Chiharu was lulled by this atmosphere, her crumpled head slowly returning clear. His heart, which was feeling tight, began to feel relieved. He wants to be strong, what is possible if Chiharu is a little stronger he will be able to dare himself to see the family that has thrown him away.
And the cradle finally brought him back after being lost for so long.
***
Upon awakening, Chiharu felt many differences that were too obvious. The temple felt so shabby, gloomy, dark, and completely unkempt. Is it possible that he fell asleep during that time until a temple like this? His black eyeballs combed around to scan, sighing as the room he had fallen asleep in was so dirty and unkempt.
The door shifted, resuscitating the girl's daydream, white manes peeking before the familiar figure finally showed its entire body. Chiharu was able to see that yellow netra was perfectly rounded when she saw her figure, her mind was delighted when she saw that kind of Gin.
The hug from Gin's large fingers was warm, Chiharu always felt comfortable when the man's sturdy body grabbed him. Clutching her and as if so afraid of losing her, the girl selflessly enjoyed it instead. The fact that it was Chiharu who had tied the man to death, did not change.
The long embrace lasted and Gin was completely reluctant to let go of the item for a moment, making the magical atmosphere created between them. Snow was still falling which meant Chiharu was not asleep for too long, astonishing when the temple looked so messy like this.
"I'm fine." in the end it was Chiharu who broke the embrace, smiling gently as her heart warmed up. The first time he felt, winter was not too bad.
Gin inevitably let go of his embrace, his yellow netra continued to move observing Chiharu's state. The words seemed to disappear from his mouth, even though the man's face said that there was so much he was about to say.
A light laugh slid from the girl's lips, delighting as Gin behaved like this to her. "I ignored Su's prohibition not to absorb spiritual energy." a witty voice escaped Chiharu's lips, trying to melt the increasingly silent atmosphere.
"You know why I gave you that necklace?" gin's voice sounded raucous, it felt paler, and his white mane that was scattered looked messy.
Chiharu nodded in understanding, of course he now understood the function of the necklace. Nothing else to regulate the cooperation of spiritual energy that goes in and out, so as not to cross the line and experience bad things like this. "You know it, but keep releasing it?" laughter almost burst back to hearing Gin's tone that looked upset, Chiharu must not laugh.
"I knew I was wrong, the necklace I was going to wear. I promise I won't let go." a smile came back out of the girl's face, astonishing when a few days ago the super Chiharu was snuffed out when her closeness with Gin started to cross the line she was supposed to.
Following Chiharu's orders, the man took the necklace back out. Shining brightly, reflected by the warming sun. Trying to melt the cooling snow, take the necklace. Chiharu put it on, smiled happily then said a short thank you to the man.
"I–" the light grew, stopping whatever words were about to come out of the girl's mouth.
The explosion shocked both of them and fed their ears, Chiharu himself he rounded his black eyeballs in surprise. The necklace exploded, completely split into pieces and unknown to its shape anymore. The senses of Chiharu's listener were ringing from the explosion just now, silence approaching the two of them.
Stare at each other, until Gin realizes the strangeness of the incident just now. "Do you know why the necklace exploded?" of course the question was unknown to Chiharu, the girl shook her head slowly.
"Because the spiritual energy is too great" the eyebrows that shade the yellowish net seem almost fused in thought. "The trunk couldn't hold it and exploded, so maybe you're–"
Chiharu continued to notice the strange muttering of the man there, surprised when Gin suddenly just grabbed his shoulder. From such a close distance, Chiharu was able to see Gin's eyeballs glowing yellow like the sun. Shining warmly, able to create a temporary void in Chiharu's head. Only one word can represent it, amazing.
"Chiharu what exactly happened?" gin's body and his behavior are able to make Chiharu more surprised, because the man rewinds himself more and more away from Chiharu. The panicked and agitated face was clearly imprinted, and the water of the face was increasingly white and pale.
The girl clearly did not understand, what made Gin look so afraid of her. "What is different about me?" the question was able to be voiced by Chiharu, trying to sound carefree and not offended.
"Your spiritual energy–" the man's voice choked. Sweat slid from his temple, the ear that always looked adorable now stood as if alert. "Your spiritual energy is huge?!"
What's?!
"You look like a monster now, Chiharu."
