Temple Girl

Temple Girl
Chapter 3 is Not an Ordinary Bond

On this morning somehow Lord Qi's oversized white clothes did not he wear, but rather he was wearing ordinary human clothes with ordinary materials without the special rays that used to surround Master Qi's body. He tidied up his clothes and felt the curious gaze of the little boy across the street, looked in and on his little face there was no need to second-guess that he wanted to ask.

Mr. Qi without the little girl asked trying to explain, "I will go to the city today, buy things and will return at night. No need to wait for me."

And the two ebony-colored eyeballs were excited when hearing the name of the city, his great yearning desire could not make Chiharu refrain from joining. He hugged Mr. Qi's legs, staring up with a face full of pleading. "Sir why not take me? You're angry with me, aren't you? Have I done anything wrong, sir?" his chatter made Mr. Qi feel a little uneasy, for not inviting him.

Until in the end the man was helpless when he looked at the two big eyeballs, sighing for a moment to adjust his tone. "Alright, change clothes I'll wait. Don't forget to wear nice clothes." although Mr. Qi himself is not sure that Chiharu has good clothes, maybe he will buy them when he is in town later.

Chiharu widened her smile, she released her embrace then ran cheerfully to follow Master Qi's orders. The time-consuming journey also makes him have to leave early in the morning, if he does not want to go home too late or even not go home at all.

However, the forest is always a dangerous place at night, when during the day part of the forest can be seen clearly and will feel easy to pass the path. Unlike the night, the forest at night is like an ocean with no clear depth. Don't know what's hiding in it, and one thing that worries me is Chiharu's own whereabouts.

She worries that she cannot protect the little girl's life, and Chiharu awakens Mr. Qi from her brief daydream. Wearing clothes when he first came here, it was soft green with the twigs of his two disheveled hair. Chiharu wanted to look different by pigtailing her hair, although she was not sure of the result.

Mr. Qi smiled gently, "come here." he said with a slow sigh. Next to Chiharu's hair ties are gently pulled to release these two disheveled pigtails, combing with long fingers to tidy up the black manes to avoid tangling.

The fingers were so dexterous when they managed to intertwine the beautiful braids and form an adorable shape of hair, doing it on both so that Chiharu looked so adorable with her red cheeks that now grew softer. The two of them prepared by carrying a makeshift item, a sling bag and a stick for Mr. Qi. And Mr. Qi's small hand-knitted bag completes Chiharu's appearance.

"What's that stick Mr. Qi for?" ask Chiharu to know.

Mr. Qi then took Chiharu's small arm to avoid being detached from her, "to say the implied thing that I can't see, then I have to change the color of my hair so as not to be too conspicuous."

And after Mr. Qi said so, the silver mane slowly darkened into a brownish color like an ordinary human. Chiharu was more and more astonished to see him, wondering how Master Qi was doing it. However, Chiharu was confident that Lord Qi could do anything no matter how difficult it was. Healing and living it alone Mr. Qi was able to, let alone just change the color of the hair.

Chiharu unceasingly praised the outstanding Master Qi in his heart, walking on footpaths as no horse carriage vehicle had entered this deep forest area. They had to walk at least two hours to find the nearest settlement and get a horse carriage to reach the city within three hours.

Quite far from the temple they now live in, a one-time trip takes five hours to reach the nearest city. However, the trip did not feel tiring for Chiharu. His face was beaming, his voice was unceasingly chattering tirelessly, his curiosity and curiosity were blooming.

Because even when Chiharu was inside the main residence of the Wei family, she was unable to go anywhere and spent all her time on the bed. Feeling the loneliness that scratches his soul to the point of damaging it all the way in, his parents' weary quarrels become a slumbering song on his nights, the unrelenting pain eating away at him from within mercilessly.

However, Chiharu no longer wanted to remember her pain too much. He already had Mr. Qi who was very kind to him, a healthy body that even he was running and moving all day would not feel tired. Then the weary journey was replaced when the horse-drawn carriage they were riding on began to enter the bustling city gates and was very full of humans, jostling even when the nameplate of the new city passed just a moment ago.

Binaran Chiharu could not bear it when the two of them got off the horse carriage, his gaze combing and exploring nonstop. Observing the activities of many people who feel foreign in the eye, human urges do not make it upset. The noisy sounds of the bustling interaction did not bother him at all, his small steps following Mr. Qi who walked slowly while not taking off his handrails.

Mr. Qi took off Chiharu's handle when he stopped at one of the vegetable shops, "wait and don't go anywhere." he said slowly as he looked at the groceries presented in front of him.

Long he was in the horde of humans who dragged him, until in the end he managed to escape and stand in front of a narrow alley where when looking back the alley would feel so dark, narrow, and narrow, and a little damp. The six-year-old girl was lost, not knowing where to go. He tried to comb the horde of humans before him, looking for a figure of Mr. Qi with anxious hope.

Spirits of sweat descended from Chiharu's panicked face, with a hint of courage remaining Chiharu tried to look back. The dark alley that tried to call out to her made her little body shudder in horror, the girl was now completely at a loss as to what to do.

And that short daydream came to a halt when someone patted her on the shoulder, Chiharu turned her head and the face of the little boy stopped in her sight. Smiling broadly at Chiharu who was younger and shorter than him, "get lost huh, brat?!"

Mr. Qi returned once again down the horde of humans that felt so crowded, he should not have let go of Chiharu's grasp and still hold it. He panicked when Chiharu was no longer there, replaced by a horde of humans who seemed to be dragging the little girl away.

I don't know how long the man has been around, sweat sweat he didn't mind the origin of finding the little boy. Bad feelings haunt him, fearing that Chiharu is in a bad state.

It's just that his search stalled when several children confronted him, visible from his age it seems they are not as young as Chiharu. Master Qi could hear them laughing, hearing them scornfully insulting him.

A sudden stone throw hit him—Master Qi became so unfocused, he refrained from resisting. Allowing himself to be the material of their impingement, one of the children approached groping his body to earn money. And grieving resentfully when getting nothing, during that time Mr. Qi just fell silent without doing anything.

Fresh blood flowed from his forehead, he wanted to finish quickly so that he could go back to looking for Chiharu. He would move away from here to search the deserted area, using a bit of his strength to find the little girl.

Then after being content to do those cruel things to Master Qi, they all finally left. Intentionally grabbing his body hard while staring cynically, that human is indeed cruel. Although there was a sea of humans before him, the several hundred souls did not help him in the least.

'It's not important to think about that now.'

Mr. Qi walked away from the crowd, walking towards a desolate place where no one saw Mr. Qi displaying his strength. When the place he passed by was quiet enough, the man's brown mane long ago became white again. He opened his eyes, using powers he had not used for a long time.

The ocean-clear eyeball glittered in the sun, TuanQi slightly concentrated so that the net was shining. His radiance was able to search for whatever he wanted to achieve, Master Qi roamed swiftly through the might of his two gods. Not long after he managed to see the little girl he was looking for, Chiharu seemed to be walking around with a little boy.

Either way, Mr. Qi was grateful that the boy was fine without any flaws. The blindfold back he used, the silvery mane was again brown so as not to invite attention. Mr. Qi smiled weakly, how many times has Mr. Qi broken his promise to Chiharu. He thought painfully, but he would do anything for the little girl.

Mr. Qi started walking back to look for Chiharu.
