"Ed! Lylia and four other servants died in the palace garden, and found this letter in her hand."
Edgar held me, leaning my head against his chest. Her hand moved gently stroking my head, as if to tell her that I would be fine. The death of Lilya will have no impact on my security.
Madam Amber gave the letter to Edgar. His eyes immediately glowed. The entire room was covered by a black aura. I don't know what the letter is. I can guess the contents are threats and condescending words.
"Give me the whole palace, Felice's birthday party is canceled."
Edgar's words made Madam Amber gasp in shock. He covered his mouth with both hands. "You can't do that, Your Majesty. You can't cancel an event that's going to happen tomorrow. Everything had been prepared by the servants and now the preparations were in vain?"
Madam Amber is not a demon. He was a gorgon, a half-snake man. He still has human nature. He was still thinking of all the servants who had worked so hard to prepare the feast for tomorrow.
"I can do it, Amber. I'm the king, they're my servants. If the party is still held, the safety of all guests will be threatened. Especially Felicia."
Edgar's expression looked cold. But I could see the anger in his eyes. He could not risk it if the target was a guest.
"I've asked for help." Madam Amber smiled, glancing towards the door. A brunette man came from there. The iris was red, emitting a light that looked quite sinister. He looks like a 17-year-old, but I'm sure he's older than that.
The man smiled, then looked down. "I am Arthur Vermillion Gregory, the first child of King Caitel Gregory and Queen Melisa Vermillion. It's an honor to be able to meet one of the four great lords of hell."
Edgar ignores him, choosing to stare at Madam Amber for an explanation.
"We must cooperate with the kingdom of Athelion. You tau? The enemy of your enemy is your friend!"
After hearing Madam Amber's explanation, Edgar let out a deep breath. As far as I know, Edgar is not the kind of stubborn guy who won't listen to anyone. He always thinks of the opinions of others. Like at the moment. Edgar was silent, but that does not mean he rejected the argument. He thinks. Think about the possibilities that can occur, both from the positive and negative sides.
"Call three commanders, I want to discuss a plan."

They discussed the plan in a basement. The room was located just below Edgar's room. The door of the room was quite difficult to find. You have to slide some rocks and make Edgar's armoire shift a few inches. After that you have to find a stone that serves as a button to make the wall shift. The stone is quite difficult to find because its position is constantly changing.
Are you asking me if I'm going in there or not? No, I'm not coming in. Edgar left me in his room with the black dog I had accidentally stepped on. He was sitting next to me, as if forbidding me from my present position. The tail is moving. Honestly, I was so excited to touch her.
"Bocan..papa macih aama?" (read: bored, papa is still long?)
Or can you turn into a human?
"I don't know, princess. But it seems like His Majesty is still a long time away. They just got in 15 minutes ago."
Nahh right! The dog can talk! I'm getting used to this.
I puffed my cheeks, showing an annoyed expression at the answer the dog gave me. Alright, better have a casual chat while spending some time.
"Chapa's name?" (read: what's your name?)
I started to hate being a baby. I hope he can understand my words.
The dog was silent for a moment. It seems he analyzed my words which are still unclear. "Rects. Rekta Marchosias."
Okay, he analyzes it well.
"Do you want to take notes?" (read: your eyes hurt?)
I wonder what happened to his left eye. He always covered it with a cloth.
Rekta shook his head slowly. "I'm just covering up a secret. I'm not sick."
"A secret?"
His thick tail rubbed slowly on my face. Feels soft and tingly at one time. "The princess has a high curiosity, yes. Sometimes having high curiosity does not have a good effect, princess," he said with a smile. And it made my curiosity even higher.
I just looked at him with a plain face, hoping he would reveal the secret to me. His face looked reluctant. His eyes often glanced in the other direction. But he finally burst out, exhaled a long breath, then said, "Alright. You won't remember after you grow up."
His right leg— might be more appropriately called hand—slowly moving, getting rid of the cloth covering that eye. My eyes are growing, it turns out...
