That Day I Became A Daughter Of The Demon Lord
Episode 15's

It turned out that his left eye was blood red, just like mine and Edgar.

Madam Amber once told me that the demon caste can be seen from the difference in eye color. High-class noble demons usually had blood-red eyes. While the lower class noble demons had pink eyes. One level below him, that great fighting demon had bright yellow eyes. Other colors are owned by demons who have a relatively ordinary power.

Some special demons will have a mix of gold in their irises, like mine. A devil with eyes like mine has blood that can increase the physical and psychic powers of the devil who drinks it. But only certain demons can withstand the great power. If he could not withstand that great power, his body would explode.

There are three scratches on the eye, just like the scratch marks ******. Where did the wound come from?

"Wounds..."

Seeing my worried expression, Rekta then closed his eyes again. "Just a scar, princess. And I was a little surprised that the princess asked about the scar instead, not asking why I could have the eyes of a high-ranking noble demon."

"Matana's pretty, like papa's. Napa's closed?" (read: her eyes are beautiful, like papa's. Why closed?)

"I have mixed blood, princess. For nobles, having mixed blood is a despicable thing, as well as for the hellhound. I'm not accepted by any race." Rekta paused for a moment, then continued, "But if I close one and highlight the other, I will be accepted. That's why I shut it down and just showed this secret to special people."

I pointed at myself. "Pelis..pesyal?" (read : Felice..special?)

Rekta nodded lightly as his answer. I didn't ask any further, preferring to play her soft tail that moved wildly. More or less I can guess what happened. He had parents from races who should never have been united. High-class noble demons should not marry lower-class demons because it would make their child's blood no longer pure. Hellhound race devils should also not have children from other races demons, even though it was among nobles. Their descendants will have blood that is no longer pure.

Not long after, Edgar's giant sword cabinet shifted. From there came Madam Amber and two men I did not know. Where's Edgar? Why are they the only ones showing up?

"Papa?"

Madam Amber exhaled a long breath, then ruffled her waist. "This boy stuck to his papa once. And lately I've been feeding him, teaching him everything."

"Madam Amber, you need to get married quickly and have children" chirped one of the men behind her.

Madam Amber just smiled. He gave the man a punch right in his stomach. Not loud indeed, but the punch was more than enough to make the man stop talking.

The woman took me to her cradle, gave me a sweet kiss on my cheek. "Your father needs to think for a moment, so wait a minute, okay?"

Oiya, did I tell you that Madam Amber was much warmer than when we first met? You remember, no, the first time I met him, he threatened to kill me if I meant to end Edgar's life. He also always spoke with such a cold expression.

But he became soft as time went on. He began to smile and would carry me whether it was for a walk to the park or just in the room. He taught me all kinds of knowledge about the devil. Even the time I spent with Madam Amber was more than with Edgar.

Edgar did not bother about it much He thought that this was good for me because the affection given by Madam Amber was exactly like the love of a mother.

"Take a pretty patch." (read : Beautiful madam hair)

I touched her long hair, played that silver hair with both hands. He looked unperturbed, rubbed my head and said, "Your hair is also nice, so soft."

I smiled sweetly, then hugged the woman's neck spoiledly. It's really nice to feel. I never could do this with my parents. Now I can freely do so with my papa Edgar and a gentle woman whom I have considered to be my own mother.

Does she like it if I call her Mama?
