That Day I Became A Daughter Of The Demon Lord
Episode 67's

"Does the Princess have a problem with the Princess' friend?"

I'm shaking.

I can see the frown on his forehead. "Did he do something else to trap the Princess?"

I'm shaking. "Eitherway. There might be, and I'm back out of that situation unconsciously."

"Daughter does she know who it is?"

I'm back to shaking. "I'm not sure."

"Will the Princess attend a dinner in the Kingdom of Alasca?"

I'm nodding. "of course. That one I've considered a friend even though my dad doesn't allow me to believe in anything other than him."

What Selena means is Viona. He invited me to dinner in his kingdom. He might want to talk about his marriage.

"Alright, I think we can do a little experiment."

- O w O -

I came here early on purpose. The first stage, I have to make sure that Viona is not a demon who wants me to be wretched. I know that I can't trust any other demon, but somehow I'm so sure Viona wasn't the culprit. Other than because he provided a place for me to take shelter when my father went to war, I also felt that he had no reason to do that.

...maybe.

"What about this little peacock-tail plate?" tanyanya while showing a small plate white picture like a peacock tail in the middle bangian.

I'm shaking. "I don't think it matches the color of your desk."

He was silent for a moment. "Hmm, that's right. Are you going to stay over?"

I'm back to shaking. "Papa was waiting for me, and I felt insecure because there was this matter."

He nodded slightly, then showed a blue plate with a picture of lavender. "What about this?"

I'm giving a thumbs up. "perfect."

He smiles. "And I know the Princess. You can't come faster for no reason. You want something, don't you?"

I smiled, then nodded. "I just wanted to ask for an opinion as a friend. What makes you hate someone so much that you feel it's better to just die? I mean, what's your excuse?"

He holds his hand, then holds his chin. "I think I'd be very angry if anyone took my things, took my family, took Crown Prince Nathan away from me, and lowered my pride and my family's."

The daughter of a noble family who symbolizes the sin of greed is indeed extraordinary.

I nodded small. "All right, I get it."

In essence, he doesn't like it if "his" is taken by the others.

I frowned. "Why are you thinking like that?"

"Your Majesty needs a reason stronger than "dancing with her little girl" to kill a Crown Prince."

I exhaled. "My father will not kill the Crown Prince, Princess Viona. I haven't even told her that."

Viona shifted her seat back to her original position. "Thank God you came early. I want to talk to you about something."

"What talk?"

He clutched his fingers. "Crown Prince Nathan will be made king after our marriage."

I nodded small. "Then?"

"There were some ministers who sided with Prince Lucas and they started a coup."

My eyes grew bigger, shocked by the trouble that was happening there. "really?"

Viona nodded. "It looks like our marriage will be used by Crown Prince Nathan to trap Prince Lucas and his followers."

"Your marriage was made....bait?!"

Viona just looked down. "Please promise not to tell anyone."

I nodded, thrusting my little finger. "I promise."

He looked at my finger with a wondering face. "What?"

Huffh seems like the demons don't understand the pinky finger agreement.

I clasped his hand, then linked my little finger to his. "This is a symbol of the covenant, a covenant that must not be denied."

It looks confused. "Uhm."

I sat on my hands after that. "It's so fucking rude of that thing. Weddings are special, can't just be used as bait. I'm gonna hit that thing right in the head."

Viona laughed a little. "You don't have to do that, Princess."

"I'm serious, Princess Viona."

"I'm serious too, Princess. I'm it's okay. It's much better than a political marriage."

I'm nodding. "Totally so."
