Edgar never messed around in his words.
Time passes so fast. I have read almost all the books in my library. The library was given to me by Edgar as my tenth birthday present. I have also learned how to behave as a princess who is sweet, graceful, yet does not appear weak in the eyes of other demons. In keeping with my promise, I became a sweet and intelligent princess.
And Edgar did not teach me anything about martial arts. Let alone martial arts, touching the sword alone was not allowed at all. And until now I didn't know what caused it so much that it prevented me from touching it.
Four more days I'm exactly 15. The entire preparation of the birthday party as well as my official introduction to the demons had begun. The entire furniture in the central room of the palace had been moved to another place. Crystal lights were placed on each side of the wall, giving off a soft yellow-colored light.
"Ahh, I'm sorry."
"It's okay, Princess. Continue on."
The introductory party will be held in four days. But I still don't dance well. I really don't want to embarrass Edgar. But the more I try to learn somehow it gets harder.
"Well Princess, this is good enough than yesterday."
Sacha E's. Vassago, one of five royal commanders, lay limply on the floor. She has taught me to dance properly for almost a month. But I feel like there is no change. In other lessons it is quite easy to learn. Why is dancing so hard?
I also lay down next to him. "Have you given up on teaching me?"
"Of course not" he answered briefly as he wiped the sweat running down his forehead. Oh, my God, it's hot, man.
"I hesitated a bit to ask my dad to dance. I'll hurt him and embarrass him if I don't make it."
Sacha glanced at me. "Trust me, Princess. Your Majesty really loves you. Whatever you do, as long as he's with her, he'll be happy."
"Can we finish faster today? I want to muster up the courage to ask papa to dance with me on my birthday." My voice sounds so sad.
"Alright," he said as he stood up and walked out of the room.
I lay down for a moment, looking straight at the crystal lamp located on the ceiling. What am I supposed to say? Papa wants to dance with me at my introductory party? But I'm not too fluent yet, papa must be patient when I accidentally step on papa's foot later. Hummmm.not bad.
I know he won't refuse. Sure, he won't refuse, but.aaahhh can't keep this up.
"Daughter Felice, why are you lying on the floor?"
I glanced, finding Rekta who was sitting by the door. It seemed that Sacha did not close the door when he came out earlier, so Rekta could enter easily.
"Thinking. I don't know what's making it so hard for me to learn this."
Rekta now stood up, walking slowly near me. "Why do I teach you?"
"How could I possibly be taught to dance by a dog, Rekta?"
"Your words are so rude, princess."
The body of the Rekta dog slowly grew. The feathers on his body disappeared, like they had entered his skin. The position of his body that had been bent was now standing upright. The two hind legs changed in structure, resembling human feet. Both of his front legs also turned into hands. His face also changed, becoming such a handsome man.
That handsome!
He extended his hand. "Protect me, Princess Felicia."
"Wait!!!" I blinked for a moment. "Wait a minute, since when can you turn into a human?"
"Since I was born."
"But.but for this long..I guess you're just a dog that dad bewitched so you can talk..."
"Oh, so the Princess doesn't know that I can turn into a human?"
I shook my head, still with a face that showed an expression of admiration and shock.
"And the Princess also had no idea that I had been ordered by Her Majesty to be your personal bodyguard since you were six months old?"
I shook my head again.
"I thought His Majesty told you."
"I need to think, just for a second."
Rekta laughed for a moment. His eyes narrowed perfectly as he laughed. Oh, my God, that's so sweet.
"I'm sorry, Princess. I just don't want to make you uncomfortable if I show you my human form. You're comfortable, aren't you, when I'm around you in a funny dog?"
I'm nodding. It does. I am close to Mahesa, as well as Arcy, Sacha, Shinji, and Brandon. But not as close as I was to Rekta. But somehow my attitude towards her after this. The change made me quite surprised.
"Why are you showing it now?"
"Color I want to teach the Princess to dance."
"Just because of that?"
He nodded with a plain face.
All right, I can't say anything more.
"So, will the Princess dance with me?" His hands were stretched out again, waiting to be welcomed.
"All right..."
