The door to the secret room changes all the time. Only Edgar could find the door and open it. How not, he himself who installed the magic door moved it. Only he can find it.

This time the door was right behind his armoire. The closet can't be moved in any way. There's some kind of lever that controls his movements. Not getting there, the entrance to Edgar's secret room also had some kind of cipher to keep the door open.

It was specially designed so that only Edgar could open it.

"You're here" said Edgar, putting Felicia in bed with a large black dog.

Felicia nodded, watching her father disappear behind the armoire that closed automatically.

Edgar went down one step at a time the stairs leading to the room. There is a skull-shaped crystal that emits light embedded in the wall. Behind him is a woman and three men fascinated by Edgar's secret room.

I'll introduce you one by one. The woman is Madam Amber, you are no stranger to this woman. He is the gorgon who saved Felicia when she accidentally ate the poison.

The second was Arthur Vermillion Gregory, the crown prince of the Kingdom of Athelion. In addition to being a close friend of Madam Amber, the kingdom that Arthur will lead in the future has long been in a war with the Kingdom of Agatha. There is no reason to refuse cooperation because the enemy of your enemy is your friend.

The third is Sacha E. Vassago, one of the top five officers of the Acacia Kingdom. He was the most handsome, the coldest, and the greatest of all. Her hair was blonde, matching her bright yellow eyes.

The fourth was Arcy Greamory, also one of the top brass of the Acacia Kingdom. He is known as a man with a spicy mouth and likes to reproach. His fighting ability was two levels below Sacha, yet he was the most cunning among the others. Her hair was deep red, and her eyes were bright yellow.

"Seeing easily he poisoned the food, it means that he knew well the floor plan of the rat's path leading to the kitchen." Edgar pointed to the three roads leading to the kitchen. One from underground, one from the roof, and one from the right wall covered by a giant vat of wine.

Arcy raised his hand. "What if we assume that there's a spy here?"

Madam Amber flicking fingers. "Agreed."

Edgar glanced at Arcy. "I'm not done talking, Arcy."

Arcy was silent, and so were the others.

Edgar pointed at the rat's street whose door was in the kitchen attic. And if followed, the exit is in the garden behind the palace, where Lylia was found dead. "Inner is always the main key in accessing anything. Relationships, spies, even the closest people."

His eyes squinted, glancing one by one at the creatures in the room. "I suspect you too of course, because I'm sure he has an accomplice in this palace. And his accomplices must be the ones closest to me."

Madam Amber and the four other men nodded, acknowledging the suspicions Edgar had.

"I'll test you one by one to make sure you're not his accomplices."
