That Day I Became A Daughter Of The Demon Lord

That Day I Became A Daughter Of The Demon Lord
Episode 24

I just realized. There are some parts of Rekta's body that do not turn perfectly into a human being. Like his ears, which are still like dogs' ears. On his arm there are still fine feathers deep black. The tail has not changed at all. Keep it big and jolt it when touched. The upper and lower fangs are also not so changed.

"How's it?" tanyanya smiled.

I was taught about an hour. And this is a big step forward because I only stepped on his foot once. Now my movements are smooth, although my head still has to duck to see my legs move.

"I can!" o( ⁇ ^▽^)o

"Now, try to look me in the eye." he stopped moving his legs, lifting my chin until we looked up. God, what kind of sight is this? He looks so handsome from here. It's bad for my heart.

His legs started to move, making me reflexively look down. But his hand raised my chin again until we looked back.

"It is forbidden to look down. Look at my eyes."

I nodded briefly. "All right."

Our feet started moving. Not so synchronous, but it's a pretty good start in my opinion.

"Remember not to look down while dancing. Look into His Majesty's eyes, give him the sweetest smile that the Princess can."

I nodded, grimacing softly as the tip of my shoe unintentionally stomped her foot. He acted as if nothing had happened. This is nothing compared to my footing at Sacha's feet the past month.

When we finished, we faced each other and saluted each other.

It's a big advance. Rekta is a very good dance teacher. He managed to make great progress on my dance skills in just over an hour. I can't help my smile. My confidence is back full. I'm ready to take Edgar with me to dance.

"I'll talk to papa tomorrow, I've been brave enough to say it!" ( (1 _______________________________ )/!

Rekta smiled. "Excite, Princess!"

I nodded, walking steadily out of the room towards the room. Time to take a shower and sleep.

The work space is not closed. I peeked into it, finding Edgar who was reading some scrolls of letters. I stepped in, bringing her warm tea, pastries, and bread.

"Papa~" O(≧▽≦)O

Hearing my call, he turned his gaze away and now fully noticed me. "What's wrong?"

I put the food tea on his desk. "I want to talk about something" I said as I clasped his large left hand with both hands.

"Speak," he said, sliding his stool back, and pulling me up until now I was on his lap.

"Would you like to be my dance partner at the introductory party?"

"Of course, anything for you."

Edgar frowned. "What?"

"If I don't dance well, I hope papa won't feel ashamed and angry—"

He put his index finger on my lips, making me instantly speechless. "Remove that thought from your brain. No matter what mistakes you make, it won't embarrass me. It's your first time dancing, it's only natural that there's one or two small mistakes going on."

He stood up, making me stand up. He pulled my hand to be on his shoulder. After that, his hand he positioned to be on my waist. My other hand was held tightly.

Without giving a cue, his legs immediately moved, giving me a low reflex. I don't know why this habit still can't be lost. I'm still so scared to dance without looking down.

"Look at my eyes, don't look down."

I thought, looking into both eyes. Unlike Rekta, Edgar was flat-faced, showing no emotions at all. I tried to smile, but a moment later grimaced as my shoes almost stepped on his feet.

"Don't worry. Your shoes won't hurt me. You can even break my legs if you want."

I round my cheeks. "Not so, papa." ≥3≤)/

"Then don't worry." Edgar pulled my waist until now my body is attached to his body. It feels so warm and comfortable. Moments later, I grimaced again for accidentally stepping on her foot.

"seen? You're the one who feels pain, not me."

I nodded, returning to dancing normally until it was over. We faced each other, saluting each other at the end. Edgar was patient. I know my footing doesn't hurt, but I know that being stepped on constantly can make it uncomfortable.

"Felice will learn again..."

Edgar pulled me back to sit on his lap. "You've been training hard enough. Just take a break."

I nodded, choosing to rest my head on his chest. I closed my eyes, hearing Edgar's heartbeat in silence. Humans have only one heart. His voice sounds so quiet. The devil has seven hearts. If you hear it carefully, the seventh beat of the heart produces a rhythm that is so soothing.

Uhh.at least I think so.

"Have you had breakfast?"

I'm shaking. "Not yet."

Edgar looked at me sharply. "You trying to diet?"

"Of course not, papa. I'll have breakfast with you. I brought the food for both of us."

"Good."
