"Crown Prince Reon?"
The two of us simultaneously looked towards the door, finding Edgar who was staring at us with a horrible face. Reon was completely unaffected by Edgar's scary face. There was no expression of fear on his face.
He lowered his head, putting his hands right in front of his heart. "My respect to you, Your Majesty."
Edgar raised his hand, making Reon now stand firm. He smiles.
Edgar passed, choosing to sit on the sofa. I stood up too, telling the waiters to clean up the dining table. Quickly the round table full of food as well as the two seats nearby had moved locations. Not forgetting, they closed the door to my room and left the three of us in the room.
"Sit down" said Edgar.
"All right." I nodded, walked over and sat right next to him.
"You're sitting down too." Edgar glanced at Reon.
Reon nodded too. "Alright, Your Majesty," he said as he moved and sat down on the sofa located in front of me. We were separated by a rectangular table with a soft red cloth.
"Your Majesty, I heard from Princess Felicia that you will lead the war." Reon opened the conversation.
"What's your purpose in coming here?" Edgar asked something else.
There was a hint of fear on Reon's face, but it seemed that he managed to overcome that and replied with a smile. "My sister Viona really likes to mix outstretches with her own hands. Because he was not feeling well, he could not deliver his own homemade scrub. So he asked me to drive him.
I thrust out a box ten times ten inches in size that I was holding from earlier. Edgar took it from my hand, opened the scrub and checked the contents. He will make sure that there are no strange ingredients in the scrub.
And there seemed to be nothing strange, for he returned the box to my hand.
"Alright, Felicia has received her reward. Now you can go."
Reon did not move at all. "Mr Princess Felicia was very worried and anxious because this was her first experience of being left to fight."
Edgar glanced at me, then glanced back at Reon.
"I intend to offer Princess Felicia a temporary stay in my kingdom, and ask Her Majesty for permission for this matter."
Edgar remained silent. Now it is not just a short glance that he gives. He really looked at me inside. He thought, I know that. He thought about the possibilities that would occur if he agreed to it. He also thought about what would happen if he refused.
"What's the guarantee that you're not working with Romeo?"
Now Reon is silent.
"You invited him to your introductory party. He poisoned the food served to Felicia. You remember that incident, don't you?"
Reon nodded. "I remember it very much, Your Majesty."
"What makes you so sure I'll agree to that?"
Reon was pressed. Edgar's aura completely dominated Reon. But he kept trying to calm down, putting together the most appropriate words to say to Edgar.
"He dislikes staying in Queen Nayla's kingdom, but the kingdom will also experience a decline in security when the higher-ups go to war. My kingdom will make him comfortable with the presence of my sister Viona, also having stronger security, who can protect her. I cannot give any evidence that my kingdom is not cooperating with His Majesty King Romeo's kingdom, but there is also no evidence to suggest that my kingdom and his kingdom are cooperating."
For a few seconds no one spoke. There was only the sound of the clock ticking and the autumn wind of money blowing quite loudly.
"I'm sorry, Crown Prince. But my answer is no. I prefer to leave behind some of my trusty demons to keep her in silence. I appreciate your offer. Thank you." Thank you."
